After a long while, most of the emperors had left the plaza and returned to their own worlds. They ultimately chose to rule in smaller realms rather than be subservient in larger ones.

Qin Chuan, the large monk, and a few other emperors who planned to hitch a ride to the main continent gathered around Yu Linzi.

"Activate the Boundary-Breaking Array!"

Yu Linzi shouted, his body radiating a blinding light as he pushed his hands toward the white jade plaza.

Two more massive tentacles slammed down on the edge of the plaza, tilting the entire white jade platform.

"Beast! How dare you act so brazenly in front of me!"

Yu Linzi coldly snorted, his body glowing brilliantly, rising into the air like a blazing sun, his presence overwhelming.

"Senior, don't!"

The hidden emperor from the Northern Domain shouted in a panic. "This creature is an ancient beast! It's mindless, vicious, and there's no need to provoke it!"

Suddenly, massive waves surged from the sea, turning the water pitch black. Dark fog rose from the ocean, and a massive, blood-red eye as large as an island emerged from the deep.

The hidden emperor cried out in horror.

But Yu Linzi sneered, "Foolish creature! Even after seeing me, you refuse to flee? You truly deserve death!"

He raised his hand to the side, and with a flash of light, a massive golden sword appeared in his grasp.

The Northern Sea Giant Monster let out a harrowing cry as a massive volume of blood gushed from its severed limbs, pouring out like a nauseating flood.

However, even more tentacles rose from the depths of the sea—hundreds of them, towering like mountains and blotting out the sun.

Yu Linzi sneered, swinging his sword once more. The colossal sword light swept out, ready to sever all the tentacles at once.

But when the sword light struck the hundreds of tentacles, it only sparked and bounced off them.

While the tentacles weren't cut, the sheer force of the strike caused them to buckle, as though mountains were collapsing. The force rippled down the limbs, nearly toppling the entire creature.

The sea churned violently, waves towering as high as mountains!

Yu Linzi's expression faltered slightly. He called out, "As expected of an ancient creature that's lived for tens of thousands of years! Any ordinary peak emperor would struggle against you."

Then, his tone turned haughty once more.

"However, today you face me! Let me show you the true might of the Giant Que Sword—the power of indomitable destruction!"

With that, his figure flashed, streaking across the sky like a beam of light. In an instant, he landed atop the Northern Sea Giant Monster's head.

"Die!"

Both hands gripping the sword's hilt, Yu Linzi thrust downward with all his might.

The hidden emperor yelled in terror.

Yu Linzi, realizing the danger, immediately let go of the sword and leaped into the air. But it was too late.

The Northern Sea Giant Monster opened its massive maw, creating a black abyss that exuded terrifying suction, enveloping Yu Linzi.

"No!!!"

Yu Linzi screamed in fear, his body glowing fiercely as he tried to break free of the suction.

But it was no use. He flailed wildly as he fell toward the dark abyss, his limbs thrashing like a drowning man. Both he and his Giant Que Sword were swallowed whole, vanishing into the black depths.

"Crunch!"

The monster's jaws snapped shut, and the Northern Sea Giant Monster, without sparing anyone else a glance, retracted its hundreds of tentacles and quietly sank back into the sea.

"Wha…"

"How could this happen to the Third Elder…"

"Third Elder!!!!!!!!"

Everyone was frozen in disbelief, and the disciples of the Purple Cloud Academy let out heart-wrenching cries of grief after a brief moment of shock.

After a while, the large monk turned to the Purple Cloud Academy disciples and politely asked, "Young ones, could you tell me where this array will drop us once we reach the main continent?"
