After a good meal, Sonic and everyone again got ready to move to their next destination.

Sonic: mavin.. anybody here selling a decent place?

Mavin: How big ?

Sonic: Probably big enough to train in, probably a whole block.

Mavin : Holy.. But most of this place is already taken by the big gangs. I can get you to-

From the side a group with armor having yellow crystal with white middle symbol came, the leader a crocodile and others as well.

???: I heard you bought someone big to the place.. *stands in front of Sonic* So you are guy who they said destroyed a military base.. baseless lies you seem to have created, and right now i-

Sonic: mavin get someone to clean it up, i don't want a corpse laying down on the street.

Mavin: Huh wha-

Mavin's eyes shift to the crocodile who seems to be frozen, he stares in horror as the crocodile slowly splits from the middle vertically and it's halves fell to the ground.(You are already dead ref)

The other crocodile ran like cowards down the street, Sonic didn't find them worth killing as that would waste of energy.

Sonic: You were saying something.

Mavin: Oh I.. I was saying maybe you could try to find some temporary residence for now until I find some people to selling their place.

Sonic: Well real estate is no joke. *Turns to the group* How about we rent some hotel for ourselves.

Olivia: Good idea.

Vanessa: I don't oppose.

Lupin and Gizo: We neither.

Sonic: Good, Mavin take us to a hotel with enough space for all of us.

Mavin: Sure thing boss.*nervous laughter*

Sonic: Humm.*looks towards somewhere in a distance* Probably some information trader.

The group leaves while somewhere on a nearby roof.

Liona: He is more badass than I thought, How did he even cut that guy without touching him?... *Blushes madly with a crazy smile on her face* Perfect..he fits just perfect.

Gord: Calm your nerves you foxy, I know you like strong and decisive people but he is off limits.

Liona: Stop your jinxing. Ruining The mood before it even begins. *Scoffs at Gord with annoyance* How will a single 50 years old like you know the taste of love.

Gord: *falls to the ground clutching his chest* That hurt.

Liona: Anyway did you see anything with that recording feature?

Gord: I did, and I wish I didn't.. this thing gonna give me nightmares.

Liona takes a high details pair of goggles with inbuilt camera and plays the recording of Sonic killing the Crocodile. She gasps, he chest falling and rising in fear as she looks at the speed of the slow motion. 1000x times slower and she sees his hand moving and cutting the crocodile with a blade of something that just appeared in his hand.

Liona: This is crazy... He cut him faster than sound could keep up.. and where did that weapon come from?

Gord: Told you, we probably won't sleep well from overthinking tonight.He can for sure catch bullets with his hands and dodge lasers.

Liona: Looks like the crystal cores will probably get destroyed today or tomorrow.

Gord: Let's atleast make sure to sell the news of their demise at good price.

Liona: that's out job.. 'Damn he looked Hot.' (simp alert)

Sonic: Mavin what is the difference between 0th and other floors.

Sonic asks as he Dynomo look at mavin who is sitting in his chair opposite them. The group has rented a hotel near the docks and somewhere close to a gym.

mavin: The space city of evolis's 0th floor is what people call the dark side and is publickly a government zone but in reality the 0th floor belongs to shady organisations and people of the underworld, through it doesn't mean their is no order here.

Dynomo: There is order here?

Mavin: To be more precise, a peace treaty was made, gangs can't run everything so a deal was made between all the gangs and organisations. A certain area was made a neutral zone and if you can't afford it, you can always go establish yourself in a gang's territory as long as they let you start a business or something.

Dynomo: I see, So people probably don't let enemy gangs and people enter their territory. But any unaffiliated person is allowed.

Mavin: Pretty much.

Sonic: I see. Well here is the rest of you-

Mavin: Can I be honest boss?

Sonic: What do you want?

Mavin: I came here to make sure I don't die of hunger and poverty, my home planet was a resource colony and most people were probably just descendents of criminals and labourers sent to work there. I have never had any chance of reaching a good life but... Boss can I become your underling?

Dynomo: Humm. He has a point, we probably will need lot of people if we want to get that thing from the empire.

Sonic hands him a bunch of other gems( he restructured a area to create them, about the size of 100 m³ out of a moutain before they left treum. The ruby is most op versatile tool.)

Dynomo: His bones are more fragile than sticks and his nerves are greatly damaged, transplants are not a option since the nerves won't be able to handle the machine current.

Dynomo stumbles back and falls onto the floor at the sight of a shadow coming out of Sonic before it took on the shape of infinite.

Infinite: can you stop with this farce? We both know we are mutual partners.

Infinite: Sigh That boy.. he can healed but reconstruction of his nerves will take some time and he will need months of getting used to his senses.

???: As long as I can be normal again.

From the door, a child on a wheelchair comes in and stares at his hesitating older brother.

Melv: Atmost I won't be able to move for weeks, it is nothing different then now when I can only talk or eat.

Dynomo: .... Fine, Sonic can I leave this to you?

Sonic and infinite layed down melv onto melv's bed and begin the reconstruction process with the ruby.

After 3 hours of constant trial and error and few manuals later.

Sonic: phew finally done. I am exhausted.

Infinite: This will give you some respect for surgeons and healers.
