Soul Land: Achievement Complete

Chapter 49: Is that Kitkat?

Finally only thing to check is, Sky Dragon Slayer Magic—one of the most versatile and powerful magic from the Fairy Tail universe, originally wielded by Wendy Marvel. While it might not possess the raw destructive potential of some other Dragon Slayer magics, its true strength lay in its incredible auxiliary capabilities and the unlimited replenishment with the very air around me.

"The most fascinating aspect," I mused as I searched for an appropriate testing location, "is the Dragon Slayers' ability to consume their elemental affinity to replenish power or unleash devastating attacks. As a Sky Dragon Slayer, I theoretically have access to an unlimited supply of my element."

However, this theoretical advantage came with a rather embarrassing practical problem that I hadn't fully considered until now. How exactly was I supposed to "eat" the sky? The concept seemed almost absurd when examined literally, but I knew from the source material that such consumption was indeed possible and necessary for maximizing a Dragon Slayer's potential.

After some consideration, I found a secluded hilltop outside Suotou City that would provide both privacy and sufficient space for experimentation. The elevation would also give me better access to cleaner, less disturbed air currents, which might prove important for my initial attempts at elemental consumption.

"Let's think about this logically," I said to myself, settling into a comfortable position on the grassy slope. "Sky Dragon Slayer Magic is fundamentally air-attributed, despite its grandiose name. So what I need to consume is essentially air itself, but in a more concentrated and purposeful manner."

Closing my eyes, I extended my spiritual senses outward, trying to feel the subtle currents and pressures that surrounded me constantly but usually went unnoticed. The air wasn't just empty space—it was a living medium filled with energy, movement, and potential. As a Sky Dragon Slayer, I should be able to tap into that potential directly.

Taking a deep, deliberate breath, I focused on drawing in not just oxygen but the very essence of the atmospheric currents around me. Instead of normal respiration, I concentrated on pulling the air's inherent magical properties into my body, treating each inhalation as an act of elemental consumption rather than mere biological necessity.

The sensation was immediate and extraordinary. I could feel the air's energy flowing into me, not just filling my lungs but permeating every cell in my body with a rushing, exhilarating power that made my skin tingle and my soul power surge with newfound vitality.

With this sensation, I decided to test the most iconic technique of Dragon Slayer Magic. Rising to my feet, I took a wide stance and began gathering the consumed air energy in my chest, compressing and refining it into something far more potent than mere wind. My chick bulged like a hamster.

"Sky Dragon Slayer Magic: Sky Dragon's Roar!" I called out, opening my mouth and releasing the concentrated power in a devastating torrent.

The result exceeded my wildest expectations. A massive whirlwind of compressed air erupted from my position, creating a spiraling vortex that struck a substantial tree at the base of the hill. The ancient oak, easily three meters in circumference, was literally uprooted and hurled through the air like a child's toy, crashing down nearly fifty meters away with a tremendous grinding of wood and earth.

"Holy..." I stared at the destruction in amazement, my heart racing with a mixture of exhilaration and slight alarm. "That was just a basic technique? At this power level?"

The implications were staggering. If this was what I could accomplish with minimal training and understanding, what would be possible once I achieved true mastery? More importantly, what would happen when I eventually unlocked Dragon Force mode—the ultimate transformation that could enhance my attack power to truly legendary levels?

With my immediate curiosity about the Sky Dragon Slayer Magic satisfied, I made my way back to Suotou City to secure lodging for the night. The day's revelations had been substantial, and I needed time to process everything I had learned about my expanded capabilities.

As I walked through the city streets, my mind turned to more strategic considerations about my future development. My current soul power had reached level 47, putting me tantalizingly close to the important threshold of level 50. However, I knew that the final three levels would prove significantly more challenging than my recent rapid advancement.

"My accelerated growth up to this point has been largely due to soul bone integration and high-quality soul ring absorption," I reflected. "From here on, even with advanced cultivation techniques, my progression will likely match that of a normal innate level 10 soul master."

The primary reason for slow cultivation was, of course, my Ultimate attribute affinities. While these granted me extraordinary power and versatility, they also demanded correspondingly greater amounts of energy and time to advance. This was the price of wielding forces that transcended normal elemental limitations.

Still, even accounting for this natural slowdown, my progress remained exceptional compared to others of my generation. Most soul masters considered reaching level 50 before age eighteen to be a mark of extraordinary talent. I could easily achieve that milestone with time to spare, even if I chose to take a more relaxed approach to cultivation.

"But relaxation isn't really an option," I admitted to myself as I secured a room at a comfortable inn. "Not with only four years until the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament, and with all those other Transgrimator, there's no way safe being weak."

My revised goals were ambitious but achievable with dedicated effort. Reaching level 60 before my fourteenth birthday would position me among the most powerful young soul masters on the continent. More importantly, achieving level 50 would allow me to begin working on my first soul core which will boost my cultivation.

Beyond cultivation, several other priorities demanded attention. Finding a solution for Lumine's evolution remained crucial, though approaching Dugu Bo in my current state would likely prove suicidal unless I could establish some form of friendship with Dugu Yan. The old poison master's reputation for paranoia and violence was well-deserved, and I had no desire to become another cautionary tale about overconfident young soul masters.

There was also the persistent concern about other potential reincarnators operating in this world. The incident with Qian Renxue and Oscar had already demonstrated that I wasn't unique in possessing knowledge from another life. While the immortal herbs from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well weren't strictly necessary for my development, access to them could accelerate my growth significantly and potentially enhance my friends as well.

These thoughts occupied my mind as I settled into my room for the night, but exhaustion eventually overcame strategic planning. I fell into a deep, restful sleep, confident that tomorrow would bring new opportunities for growth and discovery.

What I didn't expect was for those opportunities to arrive in such a dramatically unexpected form.

The next morning dawned clear and bright, perfect weather for exploring the city and perhaps conducting some additional training. I had planned to spend the day refining my control over the Sky Dragon Slayer techniques while maintaining my disguised appearance to avoid unwanted recognition.

However, as I made my way through the busy morning markets, something impossible caught my eye and stopped me dead in my tracks.

"Is that Kitkat?" The kitkat I am talking about is not the edible one but the honoured one.

There, browsing a fruit vendor's stall with casual interest, stood a figure that seemed to have stepped directly out of another universe entirely. A young man, appearing to be roughly my age, with distinctive features that were unmistakably familiar despite being completely out of place in this world.

Brilliant white hair that seemed to catch and reflect sunlight like spun silver. A blindfold covering his eyes in a style that was both practical and mysteriously elegant. Most tellingly, a relaxed, confident bearing that suggested someone utterly comfortable in their own power, regardless of circumstances.

But the resemblance was undeniable. Standing before me, apparently examining mangoes with the same casual interest he might once have shown for mission reports, was someone who looked exactly like Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen. The legendary sorcerer who had been known as "The Honored One," whose Limitless technique and Six Eyes had made him virtually untouchable in his own world.

"Did Gojo actually reincarnate here after his final confrontation with Sukuna?" I wondered, my mind racing through the implications. "After that legendary 1v4 battle with Sukuna and his family, including Gege?"

The figure seemed to sense my intense scrutiny, turning slightly in my direction with a knowing smile that was both familiar and unsettling. However, rather than confronting me about my obvious staring, he simply shrugged and returned his attention to his fruit selection, apparently accustomed to drawing such reactions.

"Of course he's used to being stared at," I realized with a mixture of amusement. "Even in a completely different world, that level of natural charisma and beauty would attract attention from admirers and curious onlookers alike."

My feelings about this potential encounter were decidedly mixed. While Gojo as a character had certainly been overestimated by some fans who only knew him through social media shorts and reaction videos, his actual capabilities and character depth were genuinely impressive. His strength hadn't come solely from his techniques—rather, his masterful application of those techniques had been possible because he possessed the natural talent, intelligence, and determination of someone truly exceptional.

The legendary rivalry between Limitless and Ten Shadows techniques was well-established in the jjk verse, with both powers theoretically capable of countering each other under the right circumstances. Gojo's dominance had come not from having an unbeatable ability, but from being someone capable of utilizing his gifts to their absolute maximum potential.

"The real question," I mused, continuing to observe from a discrete distance, "is whether this is actually Satoru Gojo somehow transported to this world, or if it's another reincarnator who happens to possess his abilities and appearance."

The distinction was crucial for determining how to approach this situation. If this was genuinely Gojo—the same personality and memories from the Jujutsu Kaisen world—then establishing friendship would be relatively straightforward. His character was fundamentally trustworthy, and earning his respect would naturally lead to reciprocal loyalty and support.

However, if this was someone else wearing Gojo's face and wielding his powers, the situation became exponentially more complex and potentially dangerous. An unknown personality with access to Limitless and Six Eyes could prove to be either a valuable ally or a catastrophic enemy, depending entirely on their goals and moral framework.

"You don't fear what you understand," I reminded myself, "but unknown variables are always the most dangerous elements in any equation."

As I wrestled with these considerations, the situation suddenly took a dramatic turn that would provide immediate insights into this mysterious figure's nature and capabilities.

A commotion erupted near the fruit vendor's stall as two familiar figures approached with obvious hostile intent. Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun—the Star Luo Empire prince and the phoenix soul master I had briefly observed during my previous visit to the city—were clearly looking for trouble.

"Hey, sissy boy!" Dai Mubai called out, his voice carrying the arrogant tone of someone accustomed to intimidating others through reputation and raw power. "You think you can just waltz around here drawing attention from all the girls? This is our territory!"

Ma Hongjun nodded eagerly beside him, his own jealousy and insecurity clearly driving his participation in this confrontation. "Yeah! You've been getting looks all morning! Time to learn some respect!"

There is a question in my mind, what with this cliché plot, who the fuck is this author? I have to say Gojo capabilities of irritating other is top notch but this time he didn't even take initiative.

The white-haired figure turned toward them with that same knowing smile, completely unfazed by their aggressive posturing. "Oh?" he said in a voice that was both melodic and carrying undertones of barely restrained power. "And what exactly did you have in mind?"

The casual confidence in his response seemed to further infuriate Dai Mubai, whose pride clearly couldn't tolerate being dismissed so easily. "I'll show you what happens to pretty boys who don't know their place!"

Without further warning, the Star Luo prince launched himself forward in a powerful leap, his fist cocked back for what would have been a devastating blow enhanced by his White Tiger martial soul. The attack was fast, precise, and backed by the full strength of someone who had been training in combat since early childhood.

The white-haired figure simply clapped his hands together once, a gesture so casual it might have been applauding a street performance. When the spatial distortion cleared a heartbeat later, Dai Mubai found himself punching not the mysterious stranger, but his own companion Ma Hongjun, who had somehow been instantaneously repositioned to intercept the blow intended for their original target.

The phoenix soul master went flying backward from the impact, crashing into a nearby merchant's stall with a tremendous clatter of overturned goods and splintered wood. Meanwhile, Dai Mubai stood frozen in shock, his fist still extended toward empty air where his target should have been.
