Chapter 188: Tensonari! Izayoi's Exclusive Dōjutsu!

Amidst swirling snowflakes in a realm of ice and snow—

A black portal appeared, and Izayoi's figure emerged from it.

The instant he arrived, his entire body froze over, encased in a thick layer of blue ice that formed a towering ice sculpture.

But before a full second had passed, a cracking noise resounded.

The massive block of ice shattered.

Floating in midair, Izayoi took in the endless white expanse, his brows furrowed. "This air is freezing cold—far more so than in the Land of Iron. Could this be one of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's 'Ice Dimension' inside her Amenominaka?"

After awakening the Rinne-Tenseigan, able to create a space-time gateway even more versatile and powerful than Kamui or Ohirei Izayoi no longer needed Danzō Shimura's puppet body to help him locate interdimensional portals. By entering his Yomotsu Hirasaka spatiotemporal passageway, he could detect the presence of other dimensions.

And only then did Izayoi realize he had sorely underestimated this world.

The sheer number of alternate dimensions was staggering, like numerous doors that only "space-time power" could open. However, most doors led to dark, empty worlds; a realm of ice and snow that actually possessed its own light and environmental elements was quite rare.

He had also encountered quite a few powerful dimensions connecting to the real world—places like Ryūchi Cave, Mount Myōboku, and Shikkotsu Forest.

From the day he awakened the Rinne-Tenseigan at the beginning of the year, Izayoi could use Yomotsu Hirasaka; over half a year of exploration led him to dangerous mishaps, too.

One time, he blundered into a hyper-gravity dimension. Even he, at Six Paths–level strength, was pinned face-first to the ground, forced to spend ages acclimating to that crushing gravity before he could manage to stand or walk.

At that moment, despite his powers, he realized he must stay humble. Even if he had advanced another step within the human realm by awakening the Rinne-Tenseigan, there still remained distant heights in this world.

Just now, the frigid air of this icy domain had "ambushed" him for a split second, freezing his body. Izayoi suspected this Ice Dimension might also belong to Kaguya's arsenal—but quickly verified that was not exactly the case.

He entered Six Paths Sage Mode without a single hand seal, unleashing his unparalleled sensing ability to detect all life energy. Soon, Izayoi realized there was no life in this Ice Dimension. But he did not immediately leave. Narrowing his eyes, he quietly watched as—

A huge golden clock face appeared in his field of vision, with hour, minute, and second hands rotating not clockwise but in reverse. One by one, circular "frames" flew out from the clock and passed through Izayoi's body. The snowy landscape around him began shifting madly.

At first, the reverse rotation was slow. Less than ten seconds later, the clock spun at blinding speed, throwing out countless frames that expanded and overlapped. The world itself kept flickering between heavy snow and clear skies in a bizarre loop.

After an unknown span—Izayoi himself felt slightly fatigued—a new frame passed through him, and all at once, three figures appeared in the Ice Dimension.

He ended the jutsu, releasing his eye technique. Slightly out of breath, Izayoi observed these newcomers:

A woman and two men. The woman had white robes, brown horns, and pure-white eyes with purple ripples. She was none other than Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Accompanying her were her sons Hagoromo and Hamura, all in fierce combat. The mother-and-sons battle shook the icy land to its core.

Kaguya's casual blows, like "Sage Fist," bore cataclysmic might—enough that Izayoi two years ago would have needed his Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion to contend with it. Yet Hagoromo fended off her Kekkei Mōra–level "Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack" using a strange black longsword that sprang from his Sennin Staff.

"Sword of Totsuka. The principle behind this blade must be like that truth-crafting from before," Izayoi murmured with a serious look. "Even before becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, Hagoromo has mastery of it... I really underestimated the so-called 'founder of shinobi.'"

Though this scene was centuries old, Izayoi's Rinne-Tenseigan let him observe details clearly. He recognized Hagoromo's slash as something at least on par with Bloodline Mōra, or it could never have broken Kaguya's similarly advanced technique so easily.

For half an hour, the mother and two sons fought in the snow. Realizing she couldn't secure victory in that dimension, Kaguya transferred them away with Amenominaka. Then that golden clock slowly vanished, and the ravaged wasteland reset as if nothing had happened.

Indeed, these were the genuine events that once happened in this world a thousand years ago, which Izayoi glimpsed via "rewinding time." He was simply an observer.

That was one of his Rinne-Tenseigan's exclusive jutsu: Tensonari ("Eternal Lord of Heaven"). In the Naruto series, many ocular jutsu bore the names of gods or divine weapons. Kamui was the "authority of the gods"; Kotoamatsukami was five co-located deities. "Tensonari," too, signified a high god—a name occasionally linked to the concept of a "time deity." Naruto's jutsu names rarely matched up precisely with their original mythic references, but for Izayoi, Tensonari indeed let him manipulate time to observe past events.

Two years ago, when he boasted to Madara about being able to "view the past," he had been lying; ironically, now he truly could see the past. He could watch an area's history or glimpse someone's personal history up to their birth. Scenes of the environment were easy to view, costing modest chakra, but observing a living being's entire personal timeline was far more draining (albeit still manageable for him).

Using Tensonari's Past Eye, Izayoi traveled from dimension to dimension, verifying whether that fabled "Ōtsutsuki Isshiki" had ever been there. Yet, after scouring numerous realms, he found nothing.

Finishing his latest search, Izayoi now left the Ice Dimension. "Could Isshiki's domain be hidden inside that 'black eye' of his? Looks like wandering aimlessly is pointless. I'll need either to draw him out or lure him in," Izayoi muttered.

While he believed Isshiki was far weaker than Kaguya, the man had hidden himself for centuries without being found. His cards were high-level indeed.

Even so, Izayoi kept at it. Apart from searching for Isshiki, he also wanted to refine his mastery of Yomotsu Hirasaka. Venturing into one dimension after another, he made real progress. Until dinnertime, he continued exploring.

"Onii-chan, welcome home!"

When he emerged from the portal back home, Hanabi promptly tackled him like a child, clinging to him with bright eyes. Izayoi responded, "You're grown up now—why do you still act like such a little kid?"

"Heehee, around you, Onii-chan, Hanabi will always be the youngest little sister," she teased, pride evident in her voice. "You told me yourself—no matter how tall I get, I can always ask for a piggyback ride!"

"Did I actually say that?" Izayoi feigned ignorance.

"I'll bite you!" Hanabi threatened, flashing the small canines that conveyed a playful menace.

"All right, all right, fine. I do recall saying that," Izayoi admitted with a small sigh. Seeing how she'd grown, he ruffled her hair, remarking, "You used to be a toddler who loved mochi dumplings. Now you're a full-fledged kunoichi."

"Heehee—thanks to your guidance, Onii-chan." Tugging his arm, Hanabi added, "As your only student, I hope I've done you proud?"

"More than that. You've broken every record among the Five Great Nations," Izayoi said, smiling. "Kakashi became a full-fledged Jōnin at 13 because of the Third Shinobi World War. You hit that rank at 12—in peacetime, no less. You've done the impossible."

Indeed, she was now recognized as a Jōnin across the major villages. Her fierce spirit and massive chakra, derived from the Gentle Fist combined with his teachings, had made her unstoppable.

In short, Hanabi had quickly ascended to become one of Konoha's ace ninjas. Thanks to the synergy of Gelel Stone and the advanced Byakugan bloodline, she was leaps and bounds beyond her anime counterpart at the same age.

"Welcome home, Izayoi-kun!"

"Perfect timing—come wash up for dinner."

Over in the dining area, Hinata, Shion, and Karin were bustling about. Two years had also brought them transformations:

Shion, originally the "pseudo-Hinata" from the film, had grown to about 165 cm, with long honey-brown hair often tied in a single ponytail for housework. Having consumed Izayoi's blessings for only two years, she nonetheless matched the figure the original anime credited Hinata with.

Karin, at 166 cm, had shed her edgy past; she was calm and quietly confident, she was still developing but by no means overshadowed.

Together, the four girls filled Izayoi's house with warmth, each with her own radiance. Izayoi couldn't resist feeling his life was perfect.

Reflecting on it: in the Naruto world, precious ties are crucial, and one's life is incomplete without them. He aimed to preserve his fulfilling existence forever—and the method to achieve "eternally together" lay hidden in the world's ultimate secrets.

At that moment, Izayoi sensed something. He turned his gaze slightly, lips curving in a faint smile.

The four ladies in the kitchen also paused their actions, simultaneously glancing in the same direction with surprise in their eyes.
