Stranded on an island with beautiful females

Chapter 15: Chapter 15

When we first got here, we took our sweet time and walked for two hours. But on the way back, it took us less than an hour. Because we ran into some wild folks, got freaked out, and bolted back without stopping.

Once we made it back to the shelter, we finally sat down to catch our breath. After all that running, the three of us were wiped out and super thirsty.

We grabbed the leftover water from yesterday, split it up, and chugged it down in one go. After a bit of rest, we started to feel human again.

Winford turned to me and asked, "So, we ran into wild people on the coast, and you mentioned giant lizards in the jungle. What's our next move?"

He looked pretty down, and I couldn't blame him. The wild folks we saw were scary as hell. Then he had a lightbulb moment and quickly said, "Why don't we just stay put? We've got the basics covered and enough food for now."

I shook my head and shot down his idea. "We can't just sit here. Sure, we have food now, but if we don't keep exploring, we'll run out eventually. We can't just wait around to die."

Winford looked worried. To him, with giant lizards in the jungle and cannibals on the beach, exploring seemed like a death wish.

I was also trying to figure out our next move. First off, the jungle was a no-go. We might stand a chance against the wild folks on the beach since they were about our size. Even if we couldn't beat them, we could at least run.

But those giant lizards in the jungle? No way. They were huge, and with all the obstacles in the jungle, we wouldn't be able to outrun them or fight them off.

So, our best bet was to keep exploring the beach. We could avoid the area where we saw the wild folks and check out the other side, but that came with its own risks.

We had no idea how big this island was. If we went too far, we might run into those wild folks again.

I was torn and didn't know what to do. Should we really just stay in the shelter like Winford suggested?

I was feeling pretty overwhelmed. Zoey must've noticed because she came up behind me and started massaging my head to help me relax.

Her gentle touch made me feel a lot better. I left all my worries behind and closed my eyes to enjoy the massage.

Winford saw what was happening and quietly went back to his shelter, giving us some space.

Zoey's massage was so relaxing that I ended up falling asleep on her lap. When I woke up an hour later, she was still at it, but she looked exhausted.

Feeling bad for her, I sat up and told her to rest in the shelter. She nodded, clearly tired. As she tried to get up, she realized her legs had gone numb from me lying on them.

Seeing this, I felt even worse. I picked her up and carried her back to the shelter. She lay down and quickly fell asleep, even snoring a little.

It was obvious Zoey was really worn out. No surprise, considering she had been massaging me for an hour straight with me lying on her legs.

After Zoey crashed, I headed out to find Winford. While resting, I came up with a solid plan for us. First off, we couldn't just sit around in the shelter waiting to die; we had to get out there and explore.

Since the jungle was a no-go, we had to stick to the beach. And we needed to head in the opposite direction from where we ran into those cannibals.

I decided to go solo. Winford would stay back to make more pottery and improve our basic setup. Zoey could gather shellfish to keep our food supply steady.

By going alone, I figured I could handle any trouble with the cannibals and minimize the risk. If I took Zoey and Winford, it would be harder to escape since I'd have to look out for them too.

I laid out my plan to Winford. He nodded, though he looked worried. He knew it was risky for me to go alone, but he also understood my reasoning. I was in the best shape out of the three of us. If Zoey or Winford went and ran into the cannibals, they wouldn't stand a chance. Plus, I had watched a ton of survival shows and had some special training. I knew what to look for and how to handle myself in the wild. And being a doctor, I could treat any injuries if things went south.

Winford agreed after hearing my reasoning. We then talked about what other pottery items we needed.

After our chat, I went back to the shelter to get ready for the next exploration.

When I got back, Zoey had woken up and came out of the shelter. Seeing me pack, she looked confused and asked, "What are you doing?"

I explained my plan to her. She looked worried and came closer, whispering, "Let Winford go out and explore. You stay here, okay?"

I smiled, patted her head, and explained why I had to go. She frowned and said, "Can't you stay and avoid the risk since we have enough food for now?"

I shook my head, about to say something, when Zoey suddenly grabbed my arm and said, "If you're going, take me with you. I want to be with you. I can't let you face this alone."

Her determination touched me, but I still refused her request. Bringing her along would only increase the risk.

Zoey looked a bit hurt but didn't throw a fit. She just walked towards the coast to gather shellfish.

Seeing her being so understanding and caring made me second-guess my plan for a moment. But I quickly shook it off. It wasn't time to relax yet.

Soon, I was ready to head out. Zoey and Winford were both following the plan, doing their tasks. Zoey was by the sea collecting shellfish, and Winford was shaping pottery and getting ready to fire them.

After making sure everything was set, I took one last look at Zoey and Winford working hard, then set off on my exploration journey again.
