STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Jeremy raised his head and saw that the black cloud was nothing but the army of corrupted beasts.

"It must be flying ant beasts," Jeremy thought.

Swoosh!

Without further thinking, he burst forth with great speed. He started fleeing towards the outer area of the wilderness.

As he continues to flee, the sense of crisis is increasing again.

"I'm getting the sense that something is following me from behind," Jeremy thought.

The flying ant beasts that were flying over the sky. Their destination is the city. A few among them kept an eye on the ground.

They saw a prey fleeing in panic. He is none other than Jeremy Night.

The starlight-filled blade penetrates into the head. The Tier-4 Ant froze on the spot. Jeremy withdrew the katana blade before continuing with the escape.

The last corpse fell to the ground. There are still flying ant beasts flying in the sky. Jeremy understood it was too late.

The invisible beast has already started. He can't place the remaining 5 explosives. He needs to find a place to hide.

As time passes, Jeremy continues to look for the same spot. It didn't take long for him to find a place in the underground cave. The cave is big enough for a human to get inside.

He realises that the Leader is saying some truth right now.

"I'm sorry, Jeremy. I didn't explain it clearly to you. The explosives were made of new technologies. The device will activate if its sensor finds a large number of beasts nearby," Gisela replied.

Jeremy's eyes flickered with an understanding.

No wonder, he didn't find any switch to activate.

"Listen, one more thing. There is no need for you to come back. Stay safe in the hideout. I'll call you when the Beast Invasion is over," Gisela said.

Jeremy was shocked to the core.

He said,'"Leader, how can I stay back? I want to contribute as well."

"You were already contributing. If you come back then the Sun Wheel Organisation would do something during the battle."

"Apart from you, there are other geniuses in the outer area as well. I believe their families would have given the same instructions," Gisela replied.

Hearing that Jeremy understood something. This mission at first seemed like a suicidal mission. Now the mission was changed to survival.

"Okay, take care of yourself. I need to inform the Head, Neil, about this." After saying that, Gisela ended the call.

Jeremy looked at the device before turning it off. He needs to save the battery. Since it was confirmed that he can't leave right now.

He still has 5 explosives. But there are no beasts outside. If they found out his place, then he would use it.
