Strongest Soldier King

Chapter 986: Frenzied Collision

Half an hour later, everyone took separate cars to the port. Upon getting off, Luo Zheng looked at the busy port, where the sound of ship horns echoed from the sea. His expression was calm, and he hurriedly walked forward. Niu Gang gestured to the brothers scattered around to spread out and maintain a perimeter, then closely followed behind Luo Zheng.

At this moment, a young man walked over from the side, wearing a security uniform of the port. He casually passed near Luo Zheng and whispered, "Sir, please come with me."

Luo Zheng was taken aback, saw the person casually walking to the side, realized what was happening, exchanged a glance with Niu Gang, and casually followed the security forward. They arrived at the security surveillance room of the port, where a middle-aged man in a police uniform came forward. After saluting Luo Zheng, he said, "Reporting, sir, Combat Staff Tong Haisheng from the Shanghai Guard Command reporting for duty, please instruct."

"From the Guard Command?" Luo Zheng looked at the person in surprise—a square face, thick eyebrows, and big eyes, exuding a sense of righteousness, which made a good impression on him. He continued, "We need coast guard support."

"No problem, our brothers are already on standby." Tong Haisheng eagerly replied.

"There's no problem with Tong Haisheng, I've done a voice recognition, it's him, he can be trusted. Additionally, they found that the speedboat belongs to the Japanese consulate in Shanghai, and it has diplomatic immunity." Lan Xing's voice sounded in the earpiece. Luo Zheng was also wearing an earpiece, so he could hear Tong Haisheng and perform voice extraction for identification.

Luo Zheng, upon receiving confirmation from Lan Xing, sighed in relief. Hearing that the speedboat belonged to the Japanese consulate in Shanghai, his face turned serious. After a brief moment of contemplation, he asked, "Can we find the location of the speedboat?"

"What speedboat?" Tong Haisheng asked in surprise.

"Still tracking." Lan Xing quickly said.

"The speedboat belonging to the Japanese consulate in Shanghai." Luo Zheng asked.

"That's simple, all the speedboats are registered with the coast guard, and have equipment installed per our requirements for communication and positioning. The coast guard can find it quickly." Tong Haisheng replied immediately, pulling out his phone. Seeing Luo Zheng's delighted nod, he quickly dialed a number, instructing the other side to start tracing immediately.

Before long, a call came back— the speedboat was still in the sea. Tong Haisheng quickly conveyed this situation to Luo Zheng. Upon hearing this, Luo Zheng was overjoyed and immediately said, "Lock them down, gather personnel for capture quickly. Be aware: they might be assassins, armed, focus on safety. Also, send a boat to pick us up."

"Understood." Tong Haisheng quickly agreed and conveyed the order over the phone.

After hanging up, Tong Haisheng signaled Luo Zheng and others to walk out of the security surveillance room and head to the dock. He pointed to a yacht, saying, "This was gathered in for backup. It can seat about ten people; I can drive it. Let's take it to sea, it's modified for speed."

"Alright." Luo Zheng agreed, throwing a glance at Niu Gang, who immediately called the brothers to board via earpiece. It wasn't long before the cruise ship left the dock and raced into the sea.

The yacht dashed through the waves, charging forward, while Luo Zheng calmly watched the direction of the sea, feeling excited. As long as he could catch that woman, he could uncover the bigger plot. Tong Haisheng was both liaising with others and driving the yacht, pushing the speed to the maximum. Under the pressure and waves, the yacht occasionally flew into the air, then crashed back down, splashing water and continuing forward.

Half an hour later, three coast guard ships appeared ahead. Tong Haisheng steered the yacht over and slowly stopped next to one of them, asking Luo Zheng, "Shall we go up?"

"Sure, Niu Gang, you take some people and man this yacht to follow." Luo Zheng said, looking at Niu Gang.

"Yes." Niu Gang readily agreed.

Luo Zheng and Tong Haisheng boarded a coast guard ship, where two leaders came to greet them. After a brief introduction by Tong Haisheng, one leader asked, "How far is the target from us?"

"About ten minutes away, the target is heading back; however, considering that it's a consulate's boat could this provoke a diplomatic incident?" one leader questioned.

"I'll take responsibility if anything happens. Surround them, full speed ahead." Luo Zheng said discontentedly.

Tong Haisheng gave him a knowing look, and the other party quickly agreed and issued the full-speed directive. The three coast guard ships rushed forward, with Luo Zheng coming to the deck, seeing Niu Gang and others piloting the yacht to catch up quickly, soon surpassing the coast guard ships and dashing ahead.

About ten minutes later, Luo Zheng indeed saw a speedboat rushing forward, splashing huge waves, followed by a cargo ship. The cargo ship looked large, piled with containers, about three nautical miles from the speedboat. Luo Zheng faintly sensed something was amiss—what was the speedboat doing in the open sea? Picking someone up? How did that person arrive? Could it be related to the cargo ship?

Suddenly, Luo Zheng thought of someone from the Reincarnation Killer Organization pretending to be a sailor to smuggle into the country. Could the Reincarnation Killers have changed their tactics, using the speedboat to pick people up directly from the sea? Luo Zheng's face turned stern, his gaze sharp, and quickly said coldly to Tong Haisheng beside him, "Slow the coast guard ship, watch the cargo ship behind the speedboat, Niu Gang, you take people up, target, the speedboat."

"Understood." Niu Gang's voice came through the earpiece.

"Got it." Tong Haisheng almost simultaneously agreed, hurrying to coordinate with the coast guard ship's officers.

Soon, the coast guard ship slowed down, and Niu Gang led people charging towards the speedboat. The speedboat couldn't match the modified yacht's speed; the distance closed. Luo Zheng squinted, focusing intensely on the front, sensing something wasn't right, his whole body tensing nervously.

At this moment, the speedboat suddenly changed course, turned around and bolted towards the deep sea. Luo Zheng immediately realized his suspicion was correct, clenching his fists as he saw Niu Gang and others pursuing in the yacht, feeling a sense of relief. Suddenly, Luo Zheng noticed the fleeing speedboat executed a 360-degree turn, stirring up a huge wave, launching a countercharge towards the yacht with terrifying momentum.

"Not good." Luo Zheng was horrified, becoming even more tense.

"Boom!" A loud explosion, the speedboat and yacht collided fiercely. A massive fireball shot into the sky, smoke filled the air, and a red glow flickered.

"Bastards—!" Luo Zheng's eyes nearly burst, his face turned green, not expecting the opponent to have explosives on the speedboat and counterattack in a nearly suicidal manner. Thinking that Niu Gang and others might perish, Luo Zheng's eyes turned blood red with rage, hysterically roaring, "Quick, save them, and surround the cargo ship behind, I want to skin them alive, those beasts, bastards."

"Yes." Having witnessed this scene, Tong Haisheng was infuriated, his face icy as he agreed, running up to relay the command, directing the coast guard to take action.
