Chapter 13: Chapter 13: The Zone For Rookies. (Part 2)

The attack crashing against Marshack's Active Adarga does nothing negative to him.

It is actually the contrary. Plasma is naturally Consumed and Assimilated by all the Hûrngöth, and him, as the Apex, wield it with more mastery than the rest of his entire species together.

The Yellow Yöwöll Plasma continues to be canalized by the two Fungoids, a situation that should not occur, since proactively channeling energy for more than five seconds, it is not possible without a catalyst.

An object that the creatures and Marshack lack. However, the seemingly uninterrupted attack is in truth a painful death for the fungoids.

Bverxkka has already learned to connect with the Yöwöll Plasma, and now, he is tearing it away from the smuggling and sadistic anthropoid mushrooms.

Their bodies deteriorate rapidly, drying and cracking their tissue into a rigid material that erodes itself with the swirling air around and the pressure provoked by the Plasma beam.

No more laughs come from the fungoids, not even screams, because the moment they try to do so, the yellow energy attacks are interrupted, and the vibrations within themselves, pulverize their silhouettes into dust.

The Stone Egg is freed, and the Apex intercepts the falling object with his Epsidion tail.

Stamping his feet on the ground, Marshack sends a kinetic wave to scan the surrounding area.

The green aqua glow is dim, non intrusive and almost imperceptible. Like a sonar, the Apex uncovers a part of the layout in the small Zone.

{I can distinguish the design and composition up to 405 meters away. *Sigh*. That is quite mediocre, but way better than what my initial predict was}

{The Zones appear to be clean from multiple sources of Plasmas. Not hindering the usage of external kinetic energy}

{Or perhaps is my own fault, as it is highly likely that i am unaware of a step in this process, not to mention that the Original Name of kinetic energy, is still outside of my knowledge}

The Trichromy brims in the Apex's pupils, as he scrutinizes the entire Zone, finding a few fungoids who have the will to fight back, sending a new series of Yellow Yöwöll Plasma beams. But meeting the same demise as their peers, dry, broken and turned into dust .

The results doesn't change. Marshack is pretty much beyond immune to Plasmas, and the mushroom men only know how to launch beam attacks.

Nevertheless, the misconception is soon cleared out.

A group of six people is surrounded by nine fungoids, the leading figure is a bit taller than the rest of the shrooms, but his distinctive is a whitish robe that gives him the appearance of a cleric.

His laughter is more serious than the other creatures and the noises seem to have specific purposes, constantly varying while the fungoids attack the group with relative coordination.

The Cleric Shroom notices Marshack's presence. Not daring to show hostility and speaking roughly. "We, no dumb, calm, us defend".

The Hûrngöth analyzes the situation and scans the group of people, four men and two women.

Minor bruises on the men's arms and legs, while the ladies have their throats irritated and inflamed.

The short haired burnett takes advantage of the situation, raising her hand to fire an energy Ammunition. But the Cleric Shroom prevents the action with a precise gesture.

He aims his hand to the woman's neck, closing his fist and saying. "Silence".

As if she were being choked, the woman struggles to breathe, falling to her knees, and noiselessly coughing while rubbing her neck with desperation.

"She, bad". Says the Cleric Shroom, ceasing his defense and pointing to the corpses of five fungoids. Three of them show the hideous blast caused by Orange Pryo Plasma, and the last two were striked with a distinct type of Plasma that is unbeknown to Marshack.

{All the fungoids shoot Yöllöw Plasma beams. These creatures are not the exception, they can do it too. And with their numbers advantage, they should be able to anhilate this group in just a few seconds}

{*Oh!*. I see, this creatures have a deal with the guards, helping the Rookies to not die, but some of them are too thickheaded or prideful to accept that a monster has helped or saved them}

Marshack turns to continue on his way, and one of the men shouts. "Help us". He demands while throwing a rock.

The object hits Bverxkka's purple hair, being bounced back with the reduced force of his kinetic energy, around three thousand times the original speed, striking and splattering the man in a sudden burst of red spray that paints the now cracked wall behind the group.

"Can I go with you?". Asks the second lady, who is short and has light brown hair, caramel skin and bright pink irises that surround her slit pupils.

{She has some potential, and two Plasmas that i don't have access to}

"What can you do for me?". Inquires the Apex without delaying his stroll. The fungoids doesn't stop the lady, as she doesn't stands still, watching the Apex, and quickly taking off her jacket to show a skimpy red blouse.

"Slut". Murmurs dryly the burnett, unaware of the abruptly demise of one in her group.

"In the end, the rumors are true, she sleeps with anyone". Scoffs extremly low one of the men.

The lady in question doesn't care, focused on quickly tying her jacket into a makeshift pouch. "I can carry your wares".

Marshack doesn't even glance at the lady, he just deposits the Stone Eggs that he carries with the three terminations of his Epsidion tail.

* Pop *

The sound caughts the Hûrngöth's attention, observing that the cracks in the bloody wall have some bubbles.

{A hidden chamber?. And I can't detect it through kinetic energy. Nor observe it with the Trichromy?}

Waving his hands, Marshack causes a swirl of wind and gravitational pressure, pushing to the sides everyone in front of the bloodied wall.

Seven shots of Orange Pryo Plasma strike the cobblestone blocks, followed by a single Pyro Shû'Krüüm.

The Red Plasma absorbs the lingering Orange Plasma, destabilizing its own structure and violently exploding forward, ripping a hole that reveals an adjacent room with a pedestal in the center, where a glowing Icosahedron of quartzite is placed…
