In that case, couldn't she evolve if she drank four times worth of blood right now? He was planning to give her his blood after this mission was over, but they couldn't really choose.

If they retreated, the mission would be a failure. He had prepared an escape route earlier, but he didn't want to fail anymore after he activated that contract.

He might have to risk his life a bit, but he just had to accelerate fast enough to replenish the blood at the same rate as Risa sucking him.

Nathan immediately shouted, "Fenrir, Selena, buy us some time. Anubis, heal me."

"!!!" The others gritted their teeth. The mutant was trying to get away and take advantage of the rest of the aliens to disappear, but both Fenrir and Selena made sure that he couldn't achieve it. Anubis had sent forth his guardian to take care of the mature class alien that brought the rest of the aliens here.

However, the aliens started reaching their positions, which put them at a disadvantage. Jinwu let Nidhogg and Selena's familiars take care of that side while he headed to Nathan's side, releasing all his attacks to stop the aliens.

Sadly for him, that wasn't enough.

"Tsk." Jinwu clicked his tongue. Since there were several of them breaking through, he had to use his physical body to kill them directly, since he had to maintain his ability for the majority of aliens.

Of course, his target of protection was Nathan. Selena and Fenrir should be able to protect themselves, so he could focus on Nathan, albeit it might not even be necessary.

Risa's wings suddenly expanded as blood mist began to fill the entire area. Her eyes were closed, but the tears, or, more like blood tears, were streaming down the corner of her eyes. Although the situation forced them, she didn't really want to evolve under these circumstances.

The moment she felt her body start changing, she opened her eyes, showing blood-red eyes filled with anger and madness. The blood flared up from the ground like her main ability, the tornado, as a massive amount of ena erupted.
