Chapter 134 Fan Quan: What, I'm fighting Spider Man?_3

Across the table sat a girl in a blue JK skirt with long, straight black hair. Her complexion was a sickly pale. She had a band-aid near her eye and a hairband that pinned up half of her hair.

Top Bull introduced in Japanese, "This player's ID is 'A Zhe.' Get to know each other. She can speak Chinese."

Fan Quan repeated his words in Chinese, then handed a blue-and-white chest badge to Top Bull, saying, "You can use this to talk."

"What is this?" Top Bull asked with a cigarette in his mouth.

Fan Quan explained, "It's a little toy I bought from the system mall. It lets you understand other languages without barriers and speak them fluently."

He paused, "You are the only one here who doesn't speak Chinese, so it's perfect for you."

Top Bull sighed upon hearing this and pinned the badge on his chest.

Ke Mingye nodded and looked at the JK girl, "Hello."

"You, hello."

A Zhe stammered softly, her eyes downcast, seemingly unaccustomed to speaking in such a crowded setting.

Fan Quan asked Top Bull, "Didn't you say that besides you, there were two local players in Tokyo? Why has only one come?"

Top Bull explained, "The other player's ID is 'Night Talk.' His birth point is a novelist, and his parents are his agents. There happened to be a signing event today, watched by editors, so he couldn't get away."

Ke Mingye was astonished, reacting as if he had heard a primitive person speak.

He asked, "No, how suddenly can he speak Chinese?"

"It's because of that badge." Fan Quan adjusted his glasses, "I spent a thousand mall coins on it."

Qing Meng raised an eyebrow, "Sounds useful. I'll see if I can find one in my mall. It'll make coordinating with foreign players easier."

Ke Mingye then asked, "So, which dungeon are we six going to play?"

Top Bull answered, "Tokyo Port Area, Rainbow Bridge of Tokyo Bay. The dungeon's name is 'Rainbow Bridge Battle,' suitable for players above level 10. It requires six players to start, and we have just enough."

"A six-person dungeon?" Ke Mingye tilted his head, "That sounds extravagant; it's my first time coming across a dungeon that has a player requirement."

"No need to scare ourselves. Let's just go there and see. If we fail, we can always try again."

Fan Quan spoke as he was already getting up from the café.

Later, the six of them took the tram to Minato Ward, Tokyo, passing the famous Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park, and arrived at the Rainbow Bridge built over Tokyo Bay.

If the six of them just brightly walked onto the pedestrian path of the bridge and then disappeared in the middle, it would be too bizarre and hard to explain if caught on surveillance.

Thus, Top Bull produced an item called "Invisibility Spray," a class-B tool, and sprayed each person once, rendering them unseeable to outsiders for three minutes.

Taking advantage of these three minutes, the six climbed onto the pedestrian pathway of the Rainbow Bridge's south side, from where they could gaze at the seascape of Tokyo Bay.

Under the remnants of the twilight, the sea surface shimmered, resembling flowing gold. Looking farther, the hazy outline of Mount Fuji with its snowy peaks met the blue sky.

"Mount Fuji, my first time seeing it."

While muttering, Qing Meng raised her phone, adjusted the angle, and took a photo.

Ke Mingye watched this scene nonchalantly, then turned to the two Japanese players beside him and asked, "I heard there are countless bodies sunk in Tokyo Bay, is that true?"

A Zhe scratched the back of her hand, uneasy in her posture, and mumbled, "Uh, it might be so."

"It's mostly the gangs that drop bodies in Tokyo Bay," Top Bull answered, "We've dumped a body or two as well."

"Oh, I see."

During twilight, when the number of people was at its peak, work-weary office workers and students packed together, and the continuous stream of vehicles and the noise of honking never ceased.

As the group moved behind the flow of traffic, the background featured Mount Fuji covered in snow. Seagulls vaguely spread their wings in the twilight, sweeping over their heads.

In the crisp cries, they soon encountered a huge dungeon panel in the middle of the bridge.

[Congratulations, you have discovered the "Number 12 Dungeon" in "Tokyo City," Japan. This dungeon has been recorded in your dungeon atlas, and you can open the atlas to view it at any time.] Your adventure continues at empire

[Dungeon Name: Rainbow Bridge Battle]

[Dungeon Location: Tokyo, above Tokyo Bay, Rainbow Bridge]

[Dungeon Difficulty: E-level (Recommended for players above level 10)]

[Dungeon Requirement: Minimum six people.]

The six pressed their hands on the panel, and the brightness of the dungeon panel shifted from dim to bright.

When they came to their senses, the area above Rainbow Bridge was empty, and looking toward the farther parts of the city, not a single person was visible, but a deep blue data wall blocked both ends of Rainbow Bridge.

[The current dungeon is a player-vs-player mode, the first round being a 1V1 battle. The system will randomly draw three pairs of players to fight, and the winning side will earn one point.]

[Note: The higher the points at the end of the dungeon, the higher the rewards.]

[First Round: Player "Fan Quan" Vs Player "Failed Man."]

As soon as the system's voice fell, Fan Quan and Failed Man appeared in the middle of Rainbow Bridge, facing each other, less than twenty meters apart.

Fan Quan paused for two seconds, gradually realizing the gravity of the situation, his expression growing solemn as he adjusted his glasses: "What...I'm fighting Spider Man?"

"I'm fighting a cultural man?" Ke Mingye was also stunned for two seconds before snapping to realization, suddenly excited, "Awesome, finally time for the beat-up-the-teammate segment?!"
