SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 698: Tantric Sage!

DARK SEA.,

The battle raged on like a storm tearing through the heavens. The 1000-Hooded Mother Serpent hissed and thrashed violently, its scales glimmering with an otherworldly crimson green.

Each of its thousand hoods roared with fury, the combined force enough to make the ocean tremble. Yet amidst the chaos, Kent stood atop the serpent's head, his form unrecognizable to all who knew him.

"Vajra Rudra Garjana Indra Teja Mahabala Veera Shura Shakti Arpana!" [Inner Spirit Transformation of Golden Body]

Kent roared, his voice reverberating across the battlefield like a divine command. Golden energy swirled around him as the transformation took hold.

His head morphed into that of a ferocious lion, his golden mane blazing like the sun. His hands became massive, clawed weapons, dripping with divine energy, while his skin turned scaly and resilient, shimmering like the hide of an ancient dragon.

An angry grin stretched across his face as he leaped high into the air, landing with a deafening crash atop the serpent's massive body. The ground beneath them trembled as Kent, now a beast of pure wrath, began his assault.

Kent pounced on the serpent, clawing at its hoods with relentless vigor. Each swipe tore through its scales like paper, exposing the raw, pulsating flesh beneath. He danced across its colossal form with terrifying agility, his claws and fangs leaving trails of destruction wherever they struck.

The War God, who watched from a distance, narrowed his eyes in awe. "This… this ferocity… is beyond even my understanding. He has become a force of wild."

The Storm God, lightning crackling in his palms, could only mutter in disbelief. "I've seen countless warriors, mortals, and gods alike. But this… this is no warrior. This is pure, unbridled destruction."

The Space God, floating serenely above the battle, shook his head in astonishment. "The boy has unlocked his destructive form."

Kent's companions, Jean, Gunji, Fatty Ben, Mohini, and even the baby dragon Sparky, stood frozen on the shore, their eyes wide with terror and awe.

"What… What is he?" Jean whispered, her voice trembling.

Fatty Ben clutched Mohini's arm. "He's… He's… something else. Something… terrifying."

Even Sparky, usually bold and mischievous, whimpered and hid behind Gunji's leg, its small eyes glued to Kent's monstrous form.

The Mother Serpent groaned in agony, its massive body writhing under Kent's relentless onslaught. For the first time, the great beast—the apex predator of the Dark Sea—cried out, not in anger, but in desperation.

"Help me! Master, help me!" the serpent wailed, her voice echoing across the battlefield. Yet her plea fell on deaf ears. No ally answered her call.

Seeing the serpent's weakened state, the War God took his chance. With a battle cry that shook the heavens, he grew to a colossal size, his body towering like a mountain. His massive fists, glowing with golden energy, pummeled the serpent's heads one by one. Each strike sent shockwaves rippling through the air, forcing the serpent's hoods to collapse under the weight of his fury.

The Storm God raised his hand, summoning a tempest that spiraled downward like a divine spear. Lightning bolts the size of tree trunks struck the serpent's exposed flesh, searing her body with each crackling impact.

The Space God joined in, warping the very fabric of reality around the serpent, disorienting her and trapping her in a maze of dimensional fractures.

The serpent screamed in agony, her hoods flailing wildly as the gods unleashed their combined might.

Despite the gods' overwhelming assault, the serpent's eyes remained fixed on Kent. Her voice, though weak, carried an unyielding resolve. "You think you've won, mortal?" she hissed. "This world will drown in blood before I fall to you."

Kent, still in his lion form, roared back, his golden claws glowing as he tore into the serpent's crown. "You brought this upon yourself, beast. Stop now… before it was too late for you."

As he prepared for a final blow, the serpent let out one last desperate scream. "You fools! Do you think I'm alone?"

Her words were a riddle, and before anyone could decipher them, the sky darkened. The once-clear heavens turned an ominous shade of crimson as storm clouds gathered above. The temperature plummeted, and a suffocating aura blanketed the battlefield.

A booming voice echoed from the heavens, freezing everyone in their tracks. "Enough."

From the swirling crimson clouds, a figure descended. Clad in nothing but a tattered loincloth, his emaciated body glowed with an eerie, unholy light. His skin was ashen, his ribs visible beneath his translucent flesh.

In his right hand, he held a massive trident, its tips crackling with dark energy. His eyes burned like twin suns.

The gods immediately stepped back, their expressions a mix of shock and dread.

"It can't be," the War God muttered, his voice trembling for the first time in millennia. "The Tantric Sage…"

The Storm God clenched his fists, his lightning dimming as he whispered, "We should have realized. The serpent has it's own master."

The Mother Serpent's massive form slithered toward the sage, her hoods bowing low in submission. Her once-fierce eyes now gleamed with reverence as she coiled at his feet.

Kent, still in his transformed state, stood firm atop the serpent's head, his golden mane blazing as he stared down the newcomer. The sage's fiery gaze locked onto him, and a chilling smile spread across his gaunt face.

"So," the sage said, his voice as cold as the abyss, "you are the one who dares to disrupt my domain. Tell me, mortal… do you truly think you can challenge the will of the tantric?"

Kent's claws flexed, and he bared his fangs. "I don't care who you are. If you don't stop this snake, I'll tear it down."

The sage laughed, a hollow, bone-chilling sound that sent shivers through the gods and mortals alike. "Brave words, little lion. Let us see if your roar matches your bite."

The two figures staring each other down: Kent, ablaze with divine wrath, and the Tantric Sage, a harbinger of darkness.
