Supreme sect of all multiverse

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The Expansion Begins

A New Ally

With the Green Mist Sect now under his banner, Lin Feng had one task left: to strengthen his newly acquired sect and ensure its place in the world. He could already feel the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. The Supreme Sect was no longer just a group of novices—it was a growing power.

The first order of business was to establish more influence in the region. Lin Feng stood before his disciples, who had gathered at the newly renovated main hall of the Supreme Sect's mountain base.

"Now that we have a foothold, it's time to expand," Lin Feng declared. "We need more disciples, more resources, and most importantly, more allies. Our goal is to create an alliance of sects—an unbreakable alliance that will give us the power to rival even the top sects."

Zhang Wei rubbed his hands together. "So, we're going to recruit, huh? I mean, it sounds simple enough, but… where do we even start?"

Lin Feng smiled. "We start by reaching out to the surrounding sects. We'll offer them a partnership—one that they can't refuse. But remember, we don't need weak allies. We need strong, reliable sects who will help us grow."

Mei Ling's voice interrupted, soft but firm. "What if they refuse, Sect Leader?"

Lin Feng's grin widened. "Then we show them the consequences of crossing us. The Green Mist Sect was just the beginning."

The First Contact

Lin Feng decided to send a few of his disciples to meet with smaller sects in the surrounding region. They needed to test the waters before forming any true alliances. He tasked Zhang Wei, Mei Ling, and Chen Bo with the mission, each of them representing different aspects of the Supreme Sect: Zhang Wei with his raw strength, Mei Ling with her sharp mind and poison techniques, and Chen Bo for his brutal combat skills.

The journey to the first sect, the Azure Cloud Sect, took several days. It was a sect known for its expertise in wind-based cultivation techniques. Although not the most powerful, it had a reputation for being resourceful and influential in the region.

The Azure Cloud Sect's leader, a man named Lu Zhen, met with the group outside the sect's massive gates. "I've heard of you, Sect Leader Lin Feng," he said, his gaze assessing as he looked over the three disciples. "But tell me, why should the Azure Cloud Sect join forces with a fledgling sect like yours?"

Zhang Wei immediately stepped forward, his imposing figure casting a shadow over the smaller man. "Fledgling? We've already defeated the Green Mist Sect. Join us, and you won't regret it."

Lu Zhen raised an eyebrow. "Defeating the Green Mist Sect doesn't mean you're a top-tier sect, boy. What do you offer in exchange for an alliance?"

Mei Ling, ever calm and composed, spoke up. "We offer resources, knowledge, and protection. The Supreme Sect is growing quickly. Soon, we will have enough strength to rival the best of them. Why fight alone when you can stand by a stronger force?"

Lu Zhen hesitated, clearly weighing the offer. "And if I refuse?"

Lin Feng's voice rang out, cold and commanding. "Then we'll show you just how powerful we've become. But I'd rather not waste time on unnecessary conflict. Join us, and we'll help you grow."

Lu Zhen finally nodded, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "Very well, I will take your offer into consideration. But I need a demonstration of your strength before I make a decision."

The Test of Strength

The challenge was set. Lin Feng, of course, had no intention of letting the Azure Cloud Sect leader walk away with any doubts. The demonstration would take place in the sect's main training ground, where the atmosphere was thick with the buzz of Qi as cultivators trained.

Lin Feng stepped forward, his aura exuding confidence. "Prepare yourself, Lu Zhen. You'll see firsthand what the Supreme Sect is capable of."

Lu Zhen's eyes narrowed. "I don't back down from challenges." He lifted his hand, summoning a blade of wind Qi. It sliced through the air with such precision that it seemed to cut the very fabric of reality itself.

Zhang Wei, Mei Ling, and Chen Bo watched as Lin Feng engaged with Lu Zhen. Lin Feng dodged with ease, his movements smooth and deliberate, his body almost becoming one with the wind. With a flick of his wrist, he summoned a barrier of golden energy, effortlessly deflecting Lu Zhen's wind blade.

"Impressive," Lu Zhen admitted. "But let's see how you handle this."

Lu Zhen gathered a large amount of Qi, and with a swift movement, he unleashed a powerful gust of wind that formed into a massive cyclone. The cyclone roared to life, lifting debris from the ground and creating a tornado that seemed to reach the heavens.

Lin Feng wasn't fazed. "Is this your best? I've seen better tricks."

With a simple gesture, Lin Feng's own Qi flared up, clashing with Lu Zhen's cyclone. He channeled his energy into the ground, sending a shockwave that shattered the cyclone into pieces. "Now it's my turn."

A brilliant golden light erupted around Lin Feng as he charged forward, his energy overwhelming Lu Zhen's defenses. The Azure Cloud Sect leader was forced to block with all his strength, but Lin Feng's attack was relentless. With a final burst of Qi, Lin Feng broke through Lu Zhen's defenses and sent him flying backward, his body crashing into the ground.

The Aftermath

Lu Zhen lay on the ground, panting heavily, clearly exhausted. The disciples of the Azure Cloud Sect watched in awe. Zhang Wei grinned, his pride for his Sect Leader growing, while Mei Ling and Chen Bo exchanged knowing glances.

"You're strong," Lu Zhen said, slowly getting to his feet. "I admit defeat. The Supreme Sect is no joke."

Lin Feng extended a hand to him. "I'm glad you see that now. Join us, and your sect will grow stronger than ever before. We can protect you from any future threats."

Lu Zhen looked at the outstretched hand and, after a moment of contemplation, grasped it firmly. "Alright, you have my loyalty."

The Supreme Sect's Growth

With the Azure Cloud Sect now allied with the Supreme Sect, Lin Feng's reputation spread further. The once-small sect was gaining traction quickly, and more powerful sects started to take notice. It wasn't long before messengers from other sects came seeking alliances.

But Lin Feng knew that in this world of cultivators, power wasn't just about numbers. It was about influence, strategy, and dominance. With each sect he absorbed, his sect would grow, not just in strength, but in prestige.

"Sect Leader, the road ahead is going to be long," Zhang Wei said, staring out at the horizon. "But with your leadership, I'm sure we'll make it to the top."

Lin Feng smiled. "That's the plan. We're just getting star

ted."
