SWEET COLDNESS

Under the table, Alex held onto Lisa hand,she wanted to pull away but she couldn't without drawing attention,after breakfast, her parents excused themselves, immediately they left,Lisa pulled her hand away "what are you doing here?"

"Aren't you happy?"

Lisa roll her eyes "why should I?"

Alex smiles "I've been thinking about you,and wanted to see you so badly,you blocked me and I couldn't call kor message you..."

Lisa cross her arms "then you should have taken the hint that I don't want to see you"

"Then I'll take my leave" Alex got up, arranging his suit "thanks for the breakfast"

Lisa clenched her fist and stood up, trying to act calm "I saw you're getting married"

Alex stops in his tracks and looked at her with a grin "so you saw?"

"Yeah...why come when you're getting married"

Alex stays quiet for a while, looking at Lisa "...Because the bride is here"

Lisa frowns,she looks around "this is my family house, all my sisters are married so don't play tricks"

"But I'm serious"

Lisa looks down,she still didn't get the hint "the workers?" She asked while looking back up

Alex groans,grabs her hand and pulls her closing, kissing her straight on the lips

Divine and Peter who just came back and saw this scene so inorder not to interrupt they left

After a few moments,Alex let Lisa push him away

"Are you crazy? What if my parents walk in?" Lisa asked glaring at him, Alex shrugs "you're just a bad guesser so I gave you another hint"

"You expect me to believe you want me as a bride or more of a plaything"

"You know me better than that"

"No,I don't"

Alex sigh "but I do love you"

Lisa was quiet for a while "Go home"

"You always chase me away,this time,I can't let you do that again"

Lisa glares and walked away, wanting to head upstairs but Alex spoke up "unblock me,I'll take you for dinner in the evening,if you don't unblock me I'll still come and if you run away,I'll still find you"

He walks away after that,not waiting for an answer as if afraid of defiance, meanwhile Lisa who had stopped on her tracks didn't realize when she started smiling

On Christmas Lisa was dragged back to Korea by Alex,he literally packed her bag into a plane without permission,the carried her over his shoulder from the company to the airport

Cassie Christmas was like every other day, Adrian in bed with her, sleeping like she could never wake up,it was already broad daylight,she didn't care about the snow or even cared about buying Christmas trees or light but she did go to church even if she didn't want to

That was because, even if Cassie sorta grew up alone,there was an orphanage mistress who took care of her, she also introduced Cassie to church even when Cassie cursed and insulted God

Now today when Cassie was sleeping she had a dream, in her old world a girl who looks very similar as her banged on the coffin, sometimes fainting then coming back to life, this happened for months until when Sophia came to visit her tomb stone, this time she had just regained consciousness from fainting and was banging on the coffin

At first Sophia wanted to run away but she stopped herself,she went to call the mortuary keeper who also told her it might be Cassie spirit being restless but Sophia didn't plan on giving up, since the man refused to help,she gave him a huge amount of money,took a shovel and went to open Cassie grave
