The Academy Assassin

Chapter 4: Chapter 3: The Investigation Begins

Lysandra was determined to unravel the mystery of the murder. She knew that the academy was a place of secrets and strong rivalries, but she could never have imagined that an event as terrible as this could happen within its walls. With her keen mind sharpened and curiosity running rampant, Lysandra began her investigation.

She started questioning the other students, asking if anyone had seen or heard anything suspicious the night before, but nobody seemed to know anything. The whole academy was in shock, and many were more concerned with protecting their own secrets than with helping the investigation.

Meanwhile, Caspian watched as Lysandra continued her search for answers. He knew she was getting closer to the truth, but he wasn't worried. Caspian had planned everything carefully, and he was sure that he had left no obvious clues.

But Lysandra was no ordinary person. She had a strange knack for noticing the things that escaped the eyes of everyone else. While investigating the scene of the crime, she found a small piece of cloth tangled in the window. It was a thread from a black cloak, the type few students wore.

That was the first real clue for Lysandra. She started to ask about black-cloaked students, but nobody knew anything. Then it reminded her of that student who always wore a black cloak to hide from curious eyes: Caspian, who kept to himself and didn't make much acquaintance with anyone.

She did not yet realize how dangerously close to the truth she was getting, but Caspian was growing uneasy. He was aware that Lysandra was smart; he just had never imagined she might be this good at her work.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, casting long shadows across the academy grounds, Lysandra's determination only grew stronger. She would uncover the truth behind the murder, no matter what it took. And Caspian knew he had to tread carefully; every move he made could bring him closer to exposure—or further into his quest for revenge.
