The Academy Assassin

Lysandra was determined to unravel the mystery of the murder. She knew that the academy was a place of secrets and strong rivalries, but she could never have imagined that an event as terrible as this could happen within its walls. That was the first real clue for Lysandra. She started to ask about black-cloaked students, but nobody knew anything. Then it reminded her of that student who always wore a black cloak to hide from curious eyes: Caspian, who kept to himself and didn't make much acquaintance with anyone.

She did not yet realize how dangerously close to the truth she was getting, but Caspian was growing uneasy. He was aware that Lysandra was smart; he just had never imagined she might be this good at her work.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, casting long shadows across the academy grounds, Lysandra's determination only grew stronger. She would uncover the truth behind the murder, no matter what it took. And Caspian knew he had to tread carefully; every move he made could bring him closer to exposure—or further into his quest for revenge.
