The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

Uryu noticed something, this wasn't Hirenkyaku, something about what Sora was doing, did not feel like Hirenkyaku at all.

Instead of creating basic Reishi platforms like traditional Hirenkyaku, Sora's new movement technique generates a continuous flow of Reishi beneath Quincy's feet. This method reduces friction, conserves energy, and enables smoother, uninterrupted movement.

Uryu watched as the Reishi flow seem to actively be adapting to the Terrain, being smooth on smooth terrain and jagged on jagged terrain.

This created a dynamic propulsion system that adapted to obstacles and environmental changes.

Sora should arrived back home by now, but it felt like he was purposefully slowing down so that Uryu could observe how this move worked.

Sora would sometimes, randomly switch directions at random times, which proved that this movement system of his was multi-directional.

The user can easily change angles, pivot mid-air, or instantaneously reverse their motion.

By compressing Reishi at key moments, Sora generates bursts of speed that feel instantaneous to the Uryu.

Those bursts seem to be like teleportation on a very short distance, however, Sora had to maintain Physical movement in order to avoid disrupting his connection with the environment.

And just for shits and giggle, Sora demonstrated that he could create afterimages, that look exactly like the real thing, those afterimages could become a soul image, though only for 3 seconds before they vanish.

Uryu puts on his nerd glasses and begins to examine this technique. It appears that this move allows the user to leave invisible Reishi anchors in the air or on surfaces while moving.

These anchors serve as "checkpoints" to which the user can instantly return, creating a pseudo-teleportation effect that enhances strategic positioning in combat.

Unlike Hirenkyaku, which can strain a Quincy during prolonged use, this move utilizes Reishi recycling, drawing from ambient Reishi without overburdening the user's reserves.

"Like it, new move I made after analyzing a few members of the stealth Squad in Soul society, I call it the Lichtschritt or just Light Step," Sora said with a proud smile on his face.

"I guess, it's not bad"

"Would it kill you to compliment me!"

"And Inflate your ego even more...no"

"Is it really a big ego if it is truth"

"You are beginning to sound like an authoritarian"

"Aw come on, but isn't it cool" Sora added with a smile.

"This move of yours is highly reliant on Ambient Reishi, if the area you are fighting lacks ambient Reishi, this move loses most of its mobility"

"We Quincy, can't you use your own Reiryoku in order glide away" Sora said calmly, thinking that was true, Uryu refused to have Sora get this.

And thus, both Quincy brothers got him quite fast.

Upon arriving home, the first thing they saw was Ryuken.

The man seemed to have just gotten home from work and was about to go out, truly looked quite elegant.

"You 2 are back" he mutters calmly.

"Yes Father," Uryu replied formally.

"Thank you for waiting for us Dad," Sora said with much more excitement in his voice

Uryu's brow furrowed at that, was Sora implying that Ryuken was waiting for them?

Ryuken did not deny or say he wasn't waiting for them, he just looked at them before saying.

"Dinner ready, eat it while it's hot"

Truly a model father right there, Anyway, as the boys went to eat, Sora was the most vocal of them all, recounting every single detail of his stay in Soul Society.

"Soul Society is not all it cracked up to be, they even have slums, if people in the human world knew when they die they would reincarnate back into poverty, I am sure they wouldn't want to go there, place still work on a noble system."

"Fate seemed to really hate me, as I not only ran into Aizen, the guy I had to avoid but Shunsui.....had to go all out, speaking of which, Dad, I need your help with some notes"

Ryuken gave a small hum of acknowledgment without interrupting, keeping his usual stoic demeanor.

Sora then handed the man a notebook, He may have been stronger than Ryuken and his Reishi control may have been better but Ryuken had something he lacked.

Experience, alongside a lot of knowledge about Quincy-related matters, after all, the man had mastered everything he had to master as a Quincy.

It shouldn't be too hard for him to grasp this.

"Sora, can you tone it down a bit? You're making it sound like a circus." Uryu added calmly

Sora grinned mischievously and leaned forward. "Okay, fine, Mr. Serious. Your turn. How about you tell us what you did in Soul Society? Come on, don't leave us hanging!"

Uryu stiffened slightly but relented, adjusting his glasses. "If you must know, I encountered Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi."

Ryuken's usually impassive face twitched, a subtle flicker of emotion crossing his features. Though he remained silent, his Reiatsu wavered ever so slightly, which Sora picked up on.

"He was... unpredictable. Dangerous, as expected. But I used my Schrift to outmaneuver him. I swapped places with him mid-battle, leaving him to take the brunt of his own trap. When it was over, he was beaten and unable to continue the fight." Uryu explained calmly

Ryuken's eyes narrowed, studying Uryu carefully. After a brief pause, he said, "That was a clever use of your Schrift. You assessed the situation well and acted decisively."

Uryu quite unfamiliar with his dad praising him was stunned for a bit.

"Thank you...."

Well dam, Sora thought that Uryu was quite dense to realize that Ryuken was actually a lot more than the guy who experimented on his wife.

Sora found the scene and as pragmatic as he was noticed that the man was taking out some sort of silver from the woman's heart.

Being the smarty pant he was, he deduced this was what appeared in Quincy's heart when the fraud killed them.

He definitely did not spend 6 months pestering the man for an answer.....he would never do such a thing.
