The Ancient Gods' Whisper

Chapter 140: Shelf Testimonial

After nearly two months, it's finally time to publish.

How should I put it? As a super fresh newbie, I'm still pretty nervous.

After all, the first subscription numbers are... well, those who know, know.

When I first started writing this book, honestly, I didn't feel confident, because this genre might not be easy for a newbie to handle.

And sure enough, once I started, I realized it's actually difficult.

But I've managed to figure out some patterns along the way.

At least I'm not as panicked as I was before.

Although, when the book first launched, almost all of the comments were just random spam and bots.

I want to take a moment to say, seriously, guys, can you post somewhere else? My mute list already has over 300 spam and bot accounts.

It wasn't until I got onto a big recommendation list that things started to get better ~

The past few weeks have been really fun, and I've felt super motivated to write.

The main reason is seeing so many high-quality comments, as well as some voiceovers for my characters. These things have given me lots of energy to keep typing away.

Of course, there are quite a few constructive suggestions too. I've taken all of them to heart and logged them away in my mind.

I hope I can keep improving and write even better stories.

As for those who criticize me...

Doesn't matter, I don't see it anyway. *shrugs*

Oh, and I want to say thanks to Yintian Shen Yin and Buqi Shi Xian, these two friends who recommended my book.

They are great people, and their books are fantastic—so good you can't stop reading, staying up all night in the process...

Lastly, I have to thank my editor, Ziyue.

Ziyue is such a dedicated and responsible editor, and she's ridiculously competent and professional—it's an absolute must to praise her endlessly!

Unfortunately, I lack experience and am still young.

I often feel that my comprehension skills aren't quite up to par, and I can't always fully grasp Ziyue's guidance in time.

Otherwise, my results would probably be a little better.

This might just be the classic case of finding a stellar mentor, but the horse itself isn't too promising...

Alright then.

Theoretically, at midnight tonight, I'll release the first VIP chapter.

There are still three hours left, and I'll go write another chapter.

I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight—no sleep.

Let's see how much I can write.

Even though I've already written 10,000 words today, I feel like I can keep going!

I'm humbly asking for your first subscriptions!

Thank you, everyone, for reading all the way until here!

As for heartbreak? There won't be any ~
