The Courier (MHA)

Chapter 57: Nailed

Six sighed as he reached the entrance to UA. His body was tired from the lack of sleep, but his mind slowly regressed to his time in the Mojave. The bodies he had left in his wake punctuated this, and blood flowed through the drains and into the sewers from the bodies Six dropped to the ground. Each was a testament to his skill and ability to remove any obstacle in his way.

However, there were a few who wished to convince Six to become one of them. To be their enforcer, to enact their views upon those who would stand against them. These people were known in the Mojave as Warlords, but here, there were Masterminds; Villians that puppeteered things from behind the stage known as the world. They believed they could control Six, however, only one man came close to making him dance to his tune and he paid the price for it.

Six sighed as he marched to Nezu's office. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and plans.

To others, Robert House may just seem like a savvy businessman. But to Six, he was a monster. Not like Caesar who wished to unite the Wastes under one brutal banner, but one that would make you sell your own mother and make you think it was the best idea possible while being your idea.

But, Six knew better than to trust him. After all, he was behind the reason Willow died to Primus' surprise attack while he was clearing out Quarry Junction of the Deathclaws. And the fact that his [9-iron] is still coated in Ceaser's blood makes a great reminder of his shrewdness to point the blame onto others.

Just as Six reached Nezu's office, he found the creature standing outside his office with a frown on his muzzle and a tablet clenched in his paws. The look on his face was enough to tell me that something was up. Nezu, upon seeing Six, nodded his head for him to follow.

Six didn't say anything and just followed Nezu into his office. From there, he touched a panel on the wall and the wall opened up. Once the two entered the hidden elevator, Nezu pressed a couple of buttons and they started to descend deeply into the earth. After minutes of descending, Nezu stopped the elevator and Six pulled out a noisemaker. After setting the noisemaker up, Nezu started to speak.

.

"We have a problem," Nezu's vice shook. "A man by the name of 'Hausu shōri' is buying their way onto the board of directors. And they're rapidly gaining ground."

"I know who's behind this," Six spoke, his voice filled with venom. "It's a man named Robert House, he is from the Mojave. Quirkless, yet the best businessman you will ever meet. However, he's a control freak who makes sure that everyone is dancing in the palm of his hand."

"I see," Nezu sighed as he punched a few buttons on his tablet. "I'll do my best to keep him off the school board, but I'm running out of personal assets."

"You? Running out of money?" Six asked, surprised.

"No, assets," Nezu explained, "Money isn't an issue. It's promises, threats, and backroom deals that are the assets I'm talking about."

'I'll just ignore the threats part,' Six thought and nodded. "So, what's the plan?"

"For now, you keep training the students," Nezu spoke after a second, "I'll deal with the problems on my end my way. If I need you to 'deal' with someone, I'll let you know."

"And the HPSC?" Six asked as they began their ascent.

"There are a few that are redeemable, but the rest are mindless drones," Nezu spoke with venom. Deal with them as you see fit."

"Understood," Six agreed.

[Six's POV]

.

After my talk with Nezu, I was surprised to hear that Christine had arrived in this world. But the fact that she and Veronica were constantly attached to the hip of one another, it wouldn't be surprising if they weren't. But needless to say, she was still the same old girl who was trapped in a pod doc. Terrified of enclosed spaces and a love for technology.

But the fact they, who were once forced to keep away from each other, now were always found kissing one another in the hallways made things awkward for the students.

Anyhow, I had begun to put the students through their paces, making sure that their quirks and bodies were able for the future.

That was when we got wind of the League of Villains had partnered up with the group called the Meta Liberation Army. The M.L.A. were a quirk supremacist group that was once led by a man named Chikara who was against a system for the control of quirks. He claimed that the government seized and misrepresented his mother's words to restrict the use of Quirks, believing that the free use of Quirks is a basic human right. To fight for that ideal, he unified the liberationists to form the Meta Liberation Army and took on the name Destro - the one who would destroy the status quo.

It was after Chikara took his life in jail that the group seemingly disbanded. The Meta Liberation Army made its mark on history as one of the most infamous villain groups and their leader is compared to the likes of All For One. However, it was before his death that Chikara released an autobiography called the 'Meta Liberation Wars' which exposed his ideology of Quirk liberation.

It turns out there was a mole in the M.L.A. that belonged to the HPSC, and Nezu learned about it through them.

I couldn't wait for the war that was brewing. My body has been yearning for the beast I keep caged inside to be released. The recent blood I spilled was more than enough to awaken it from its slumber. But I rather not let the cage break for what would become of me.

All I knew was that the bodies that would be left in my wake would be numerous.
