The next evening, Lucoa came by to visit Tohru again.
"Sui, what's going on between you two? Did you have a fight?" Lucoa asked, her differently colored eyes twinkling with curiosity as she looked at Sui.
Sui glanced over at Tohru, who was gloomily preparing tea on the kitchen counter, and replied, "No, we didn't."
"Then why does Tohru look so down?" Lucoa asked, smiling knowingly.
Sui himself was a bit puzzled. Tohru had seemed fine the day before, but this morning, she appeared troubled. Although she tried to force a smile whenever she was around him, Sui could easily tell something was wrong.
"It's because Tohru-sama is worried about that man," Kanna chimed in as she nibbled on a piece of candy nearby.
"That man? Who?" Sui asked, confused.
"The Titan from yesterday," Kanna explained innocently. "Tohru-sama said that even though we could go looking for Sui, what if we can't find him?"
Sui was at a loss for words. 'Is she still worried about that?' He had thought the issue was already settled.
"What are you all talking about?" Lucoa asked, her tone tinged with amusement.
Sui explained to her what had happened the previous day.
"I see," Lucoa said, laughing softly. "Tohru has always been quite the sentimental one."
"Yeah," Sui agreed with a nod.
"After all, Tohru is only 50,000 years old. She's still a child in dragon years. You should find a way to cheer her up," Lucoa said with a gentle smile.
"Fifty thousand years old..." Sui muttered, feeling somewhat speechless. But considering the long lifespan of dragons, Tohru really was still a child.
"By the way, how old are you, Lucoa?" Sui suddenly asked, curious about the actual age of the woman in front of him.
"Hmm, I've forgotten as well," Lucoa said, thinking for a moment. "But I remember being born a little before the heavens and earth were created."
"...ohh," Sui replied, helplessly accepting her answer.
The next day, Sui came up with a way to lift Tohru's spirits.
Before dinner, he called Tohru into the bedroom.
"Sui, what did you want to talk to me about?" Tohru asked curiously as she entered the room.
"Look at this," Sui said, showing her a prop he had bought online—a replica of the Infinity Gauntlet.
As soon as Tohru saw it, her pupils shrank in alarm, and she quickly looked around nervously. "Sui, hide this! Don't let the Titan find it!"
Sui nodded with a smile. "I will. But here, Tohru, I want you to keep this glove. This way, you won't have to worry about me disappearing anymore."
"Really?" Tohru took the glove solemnly, but as soon as it was in her hands, a sly look flashed across her eyes. In an instant, flames erupted from her hand, reducing the glove to ashes.
With a mischievous grin, Tohru said, "This way, the Titan will never get the glove, and no one will ever be able to make Sui disappear!"
Excited, she jumped up happily and hugged Sui tightly. "Now, no one can ever take Sui away from me!" she exclaimed, planting a big kiss on his cheek.
Sui was speechless. He hadn't expected Tohru to be so cunning, coming up with the idea to destroy the glove. However, he was also relieved. This had finally eased Tohru's worries.

After a few days of peace and relaxation, Sui received a new task from the system.
"New mission received: Awaken the soul of the 'Collector's Knives'!"
Mission Description: Use your passion to awaken the 'Collector's Knives' from its slumber!
Mission Rewards:
- Unlock the hidden attributes of three 'Collector's Knives' and receive a gourmet gift pack.
- Unlock the hidden attributes of five 'Collector's Knives' and receive both a gourmet gift pack and a random 'Collector's Knives'.
- Unlock all the hidden attributes of the 'Collector's Knives', and the reward will be... unknown.
Mission Time: Unlimited.
Sui stared at the task, somewhat stunned.
"Awaken the souls of the 'Collector's Knives'? Does that mean unlocking their hidden attributes? And it's called 'Collector's Knives'? Not a bad name for precious knives from different worlds," he muttered to himself.
He recalled that the Cinderella knife he had used previously had unlocked its hidden attributes after he had processed 100 servings of food with it.
"It looks like the way to unlock the hidden properties is to use them to prepare as many ingredients as possible," he deduced.
At the moment, Sui owned four 'Collector's Knives': Cinderella, Derous Knife, Etsy, and Nichirin Kitchen Knife.
[Note: I'm just giving an example of what the knives look like, so don't compare the size in the image to the actual knife sizes.]
Nichirin was a large cleaver nearly a meter and half long, Derous was a traditional kitchen knife, and Etsy was a slender, curved knife ideal for cutting large cuts of meat or scaling fish. Cinderella, on the other hand, was Sui's most frequently used knife, typically used in Japan. It was particularly handy for fish and vegetables but wasn't meant for heavy-duty tasks like cutting bones.
Sui thought he could work on unlocking the hidden attributes of most of his knives over time, but Nichirin, the giant cleaver, presented a challenge.
After thinking it over, Sui decided to ask Erina for help.
"Eh? You need a slaughterhouse? What for?" Erina asked, confused.
"Oh, I just want to practice butchering large livestock," Sui explained.
"Really? But why would you need to practice that?" Erina frowned slightly. To her, a chef's job was to create beautiful, refined dishes in a clean and elegant kitchen. Butchering livestock seemed more like the work of a butcher.
In modern kitchens, pigs, sheep, and cattle were usually delivered already butchered, so it seemed unnecessary for a chef to practice slaughtering.
Still, despite her reservations, Erina said obediently, "There's a place at Totsuki that might work. I can take you there."
