Chapter 1044: Locked In The Bath III
Arad sighed, "I know…" He looked at her, "I know that I'm still nowhere near the power of the upper gods and neither am I looking to reach them. All I want to do is live in peace."
Kali leaned back on the tub's edge, "We'll, you'll have to get stronger if you want to live in peace. You're already past the point of hiding. And even if you had wanted to stay low and hide, it's just not your fate."
"So what is my fate?" Arad looked at her and she giggled, "Don't ask me, as the Moirai."
Moirai is a nickname for the sisters of fate, a triplet who weave the world's fate and maintain it. Kali is the descendant of a primordial god but those triplets were a primordial divine and they are still alive.
"Moirai?" Arad tilted his head.
"The sisters of fate, or the fates as some call them. Clotho the spinner, Lachesis the allotter, and Atropos the inevitable. They'll show themselves when the time comes. I bet even me mentioning them here is something they planned." Kali turned toward Gamond, "Enough about me and the gods, what can you do? You've served Isbert for a long time, you can't lack tricks."
Gamond smiled, "You don't want to spill more of the primordial gods' secrets?"
"Indeed." Kali didn't try to hide it, "I'd rather not speak anymore about them, it'll complicate things later on."
"Fine…Like most of the overgod's wives, Isbert relied on witch's nails to empower her magic and fighting power. For the past centuries, it was my job to repaint, upgrade, and maintain her nails. Kory here also learned from me, she might not be as good, but without her, I can't do my best." While Gamond was a master at her craft, Kory was still learning and worked as a helper, but even she had more skill than the average witch when it came to witch's nails.
"Kory was your name? Right?" Sena looked at her, "Do you know that you're a thermal dragon now?"
"What's a thermal dragon?" Kory looked at Sena.
A thermal dragon was a rare born of the red and white dragons. They could innately use temperature magic and be immune to both heat and cold, neither flame nor ice could hurt them.
As Arad and Kory listened to Sena explaining what a thermal dragon is, Undine and Salamander approached Aella, and they could finally talk with her.
"So you're the one that signed a contract with a spirit queen…you don't look special at all," Undine said as she flew and sat on Aella's head.
"Undine…we're all spirit queens but the one she made a contract with her is at least as powerful as both of us, you could feel it, right?" Salamander growled at her.
"I can smell her magic, reeks of hags. She is also twice as old as us." While Undine and Salamander looked like they were in their mid-twenties in the eye of spirits, Zephyr seemed more like in her late thirties.
Aella reached up and grabbed Undine, "I'll drown you."
"Please do, I'm a water spirit so that won't even hurt me." Undine didn't seem bothered at all but she suddenly started gasping for air. "Drown you in the air that is." Aella glared at her with an evil smile.
Aella immediately released Undine, she wasn't trying to harm her. "When Zephyr comes back she'll skin you alive if she hears you insulting her like that."
"I bet she could." Undine dove underwater to relax a bit. Just by feeling Zephyr's crown that was inside Aella, the two could sense how powerful Zephyr was.
"By the way…since you two already made a contract with Arad, do you mind if I used your power every now and then?" She looked at the two with a smile and they agreed.

Matilda and the other finally finished their shower and slowly looked inside the bath. Arad was sitting in the middle of a horde of stunning women to the point that it made their heads hurt.
"All of those women!" Selina growled.
"Hush!" Anansi closed Selina's mouth, "What if he heard you?"
"Matilda, let's get out…" Selina looked at Matilda only to find her staring at Arad with a droll dripping from her mouth and clear juice trailing down her legs. "Those abs…" She mumbled.
"You horny!" She smacked her on the head, sending her stumbling across the bath until she fell into the tub.
When Matilda gasped out of the water she found herself beside Altair, who glared right at her eyes. "Oh…a half-blood. I never expected to see one here."
"HAA!" Matilda jumped back as all of her instincts screamed that the woman before was a monster that she couldn't defeat. "What…who are…" Ever since she looked inside the bath all she could see was Arad. While thirsting over his abs she forgot to even look around and was just now noticing the countless monsters around her, especially Lunara and Kali who looked terrifying.
Selina slowly walked into the bath with Anansi behind her. She wasn't good at dealing with people and probably would never will. Not once in her life, she had expected she'd be stuck in such a situation.
From behind them, Zul finally walked into the bath, her eyes fixed on Arad. "Arad…"
Arad looked at her with a smile, "Zul, how do you feel?"
She stared at him for a few seconds, her face and eyes burning red before she burst crying, weeping on the floor for almost ten minutes straight and no matter who tried to calm her she never stopped tearing up.
Mira poked him, "Go carry bring her in. She's both happy and unable to process that you healed her."
A bit hesitant, Arad finally stood and approached, "You can stop crying." He carried her into the bath.
"I….I…didn't…WAAAAAAAA!" She kept crying on Arad's lap, each time she tried to speak she couldn't. For dragons, cruelty is the norm. Not in her life had she expected that anyone would go to such a length to help her, let alone another dragon who was strong enough to kill her and steal all of her wealth.
"What a sweet little girl." Merlin approached Arad and carried Zul from him, "You'll stay with me until you calm down. You don't want his wives getting the urge to bite you, or do you?"
Lala looked at her, "You're the one who wants to bite her."
Merlin flicked her finger and Lala's mouth got stitched together with threads of magic.

Gamond looked at Arad, "She's the next one so she is getting jealous. She must have been waiting for a while, wasn't she?"
"It's her right." Betty walked on the water's surface and approached Arad, "Albeit, I bet that no one here would mind spending the rest of their life with you, including me."
"You're quite bold." Isdis stared at her with a tired face.
"I'm compensating for something." Betty looked back at everyone, "But am I wrong? If any of you wasn't willing to do that she won't have stepped here." She quickly shifted her gaze to Selina, "You're the one that looks the least happy about this situation, what do you say?"
Selina glared at Betty for a second and sighed, "Honesty…I would've still been hiding in the shadows if not for him. I wouldn't mind marrying him, in fact, I would've gone for him, if he wasn't MARRIED!" She glared at Arad.
"You make it sound like it's my fault." Arad lifted an eyebrow and Mira grabbed him by the ear, "Since it is your fault."
