The fairies I flirted with in the game became real?!

Chapter 243: The Red-Haired Demon Hand

"The faction leader is resting today; all matters are to be discussed and handled by Liu Fu and Bu Hongsheng,"

In the Enforcement Hall's office, after finishing the roll call, Li Muyang directly tossed the faction leader's seal onto the desk and said to the subordinates below.

"Do not bother me with anything unimportant."

Yawning, Li Muyang finished giving instructions and directly turned around to go into the back hall, where he laid down on a recliner under the eaves and just like that, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

His sudden shirking of responsibilities left everyone looking at each other in bewilderment.

Bu Hongsheng and Liu Fu exchanged glances and said, "Why has the faction leader become lax today..." Explore more at empire

Although Li Muyang was also very lax in the past, leaving almost all affairs to be dealt with by others, only responsible for signing execution documents.

But such an act of tossing around the seal and acting like a hands-off shopkeeper was a first.

Liu Fu pondered for a moment, then said in a low voice, "Perhaps it has to do with the recent rumors."

"Recently, there have been rumors in the city claiming that the faction leader is a spy sent by the Refinement Demon Sect. The so-called slaughter of the faction leader's entire family was a play staged by the Refinement Demon Sect, all to enable the faction leader to infiltrate our organization and become a spy."

"Some even say that those Demon Sect scouts who were captured in the city lately are all under the faction leader's command, following his orders."

With a slight sigh, Liu Fu said, "The faction leader has offended too many people; God knows how many are weaving rumors to slander him in the shadows."

"It's said that when everyone points fingers at you, it can bring a premature end. The faction leader probably feels the pressure and is troubled by it."

"In the next few days, let's take on some of the faction leader's burden... "

Liu Fu sighed softly.

The others were indignant.

"Those spies thrown into jail were interrogated and tortured by our Enforcement Hall."

"If there really were spies that confessed the faction leader as their leader, how could we possibly not know!"

"Those damned vermin in the city! Just because the faction leader didn't condone their crimes, they slander him with malicious words... It's truly despicable!"

"If I find out who's spreading rumors about the faction leader, I must take them to the office and deal with them!"

"How can we possibly achieve a harmonious world with these vermin!"

The clamor was filled with anger, all resenting the persecution Li Muyang suffered.

Meanwhile, Li Muyang, hiding in the back hall resting, had already closed his eyes and returned to the game.

He spent all of last night exploring the new game "The Fall of the Fairy," dying hundreds of times and completely traversing the desolate Three Rivers City.

He not only gathered a fair amount of information about the evil creatures that roamed the city but also verified the existence state of Three Rivers City.

The deserted Three Rivers City was a mirror world similar to an illusion, devoid of people.

Everything within this Three Rivers City was consistent with the real Three Rivers City, a mirror image of it.

When the lights in the real Three Rivers City were extinguished, the lights in the mirror world's Three Rivers City were extinguished as well.

In the empty mirror world, prison carts moved on their own.

In the tavern's main hall, bowls of rice floated in mid-air, chopsticks continuously moved to pick up dishes from the plates, but no one was seen sitting there to eat.

On the river through the city, small boats moved along, their rudders oscillating in the night wind, yet there were no people aboard.

This Three Rivers City, in perfect step with reality, was a mirror world devoid of living creatures.

But the trajectories of everything in the city were exactly the same as in the real Three Rivers City.

Such a scene appeared somewhat eerie.

Li Muyang, amidst it, watched as sedan chairs floated past on the dark streets and quickly discerned his direction.

He leaped out of the Qintianjian office again, heading southwest toward Three Rivers City.

In the southwest of Sanhe City, there was a mansion that covered an extremely wide area.

Within the high walls and gated courtyard, pavilions, towers, artificial mountains, and water features were adorned with the light of lanterns, making the place look as exquisite as a piece of art.

Yet, in a dark room within this mansion, a lantern hung suspended.

Under the lantern's illumination, an Immortal Sword was suspended in the air, emitting a chilling and cold Sword Qi.

This scene was identical to the opening CG's visuals.

The cold Sword Qi formed a Sword Domain, turning everything within a ten-foot radius into an inaccessible forbidden zone.

The only difference between this scene and the opening CG was that the latter had the figure of the Glass Immortal Maiden in its animation.

In the mirror world, there was no Glass Immortal Maiden.

When Li Muyang appeared outside this gloomy little house, he saw a figure outside, rigid and immobile.

[Dan Xiaolian]

Above the woman's head hovered a pale yellow health bar.

She was dressed in the robes of the Technique Form of the Imperial Observatory, looking somewhat disheveled.

A bizarre arm covered in red hair was growing out of her chest, seemingly trying to strangle her to death.

While the woman stood stiffly on the spot, her hands clutched desperately at the ghastly red-haired hand, as frosty chill constantly wafted from her body.

Upon seeing Li Muyang's sudden appearance, the First Grade Magician from the Imperial Observatory was slightly shocked.

"Who are you?" she exclaimed, looking towards Li Muyang.

But Li Muyang was no stranger to her.

In last night's game, Li Muyang had died twenty-three times in this very spot, and had grown well acquainted with the course of events.

Having no intention of explaining himself to Dan Xiaolian, Li Muyang leapt into the yard and charged directly towards her.

However, the moment Li Muyang stepped into the yard, a bizarre red-haired ghost hand burst from the ground, rapidly reaching for his right foot.

The red-haired ghost hand moved with extreme speed, emerging from the ground almost instantaneously.

Yet Li Muyang, as if he had foreseen it, leapt ahead in time, narrowly avoiding the ghastly hand that shot up from the ground, and flew three meters away.

The cold night wind howled past Li Muyang's ears, and the instant he landed, two more red-haired ghost hands grew from the ground beneath him.

But Li Muyang's stiff body spun sharply, landing precisely between the two red-haired hands, and he instantly sprang up again, flying toward Dan Xiaolian in the courtyard.

But upon seeing Li Muyang flying towards her, Dan Xiaolian immediately shouted.

"Don't come over!"

But it was already too late.

Li Muyang, his body stiff, landed beside her, and on the red-haired ghost hand growing from Dan Xiaolian's chest, suddenly numerous twisted, thin, and red-haired arms burst forth from the forearm.

These ghost hands wildly reached for Li Muyang, coming from all directions, instantly sealing off all his avenues of escape.

However, Li Muyang, submerged by the red-haired hands, remained completely calm.

His left hand with its sharp nails clenched together, slicing horizontally like a razor.

Amidst the sea of countless ghost hands that engulfed Li Muyang, blood and cold light suddenly exploded.

Li Muyang's left arm smashed through the obstructing red-haired hands as he tumbled out.

This series of actions was swift and efficient to the extreme.

It left the petrified Dan Xiaolian in the courtyard looking on in astonishment.
