The female supporting character, yet a charmer to everyone

Chapter 24 - Post-apocalyptic Literature 05

A long journey is tiring. Their group of people, all of whom were physically strong, had no problem driving for so long one after another.

But Yu Huan, a zombie, was sleepy and tired all day.

How is it possible to turn into a zombie and still have the same weak body as before?

Lu Mingzhang thoughtfully looked at his heart. He was a big killer. He had a face as white as paper and a body as thin as a waif. He was disreputable and had a nest in the corner of Yu Huan. He rarely doubted himself.

He was weak.

He suddenly realised that even if he sent her into the research lab and provided her with the opportunity to make trouble, she was afraid that she could not cause any waves.

Yu Huan hugged her legs and was angry, not noticing that Lu Mingzhang Roach was looking again at and thinking about her role.

His face was extremely cold, so it was best if he didn’t know how to bite.

Frowning more and more tightly, he suddenly got up and held Yu Huan’s chin, pressing her mouth against his.

‘Bite.’ He stared at her, his eyes looking cruel for no reason.

Yu Huan was still frozen, her teeth already pressing against his skin.

What was going on? Or was he testing her again?

He was definitely a bad person.

Yu Huan opened her eyes wide in an attempt to impress him with weak, pitiful eyes.

‘Boss!’ Even the driver, who knew how he could be, was worried. ‘You can’t bite. It’s too dangerous. What if you get infected and turn into a zombie?’

The little zombie looked at him timidly, not knowing if the previous threat had worked and didn’t dare to bite him, or if his teeth were too soft to bite at all.

‘Useless guy.’

Lu Mingzhang looked unhappy.

This little zombie was completely useless.

Lu Mingzhang was too lazy to bother with her.

They stopped at a service area to take a short break. The car was stuffy, and most people had to get down to move around and stretch their legs.

Those who were on sentry duty moved around, and those who were active moved around too.

In the past, Yu Huan would also go down and walk around the car. But today, she felt really down.

Lu Mingzhang looked around, but the only thing missing was that little zombie.

There was no use for it.

But in the end, it was him who got it out.

Lu Mingzhang’s hands had been stained with many lives, but this feeling of creating life was still quite new to him, so much so that he could never lose sight of it.

Don’t get overwhelmed by it.

He snorted and started walking quickly towards the car.

Meanwhile, Yu Huan sat in the car, breathing heavily and looking terrified. She was too weak to get up.

‘Just hold it in a little longer.’ The system said, powerlessly.

Yu Huan twisted his head and saw that in the storage compartment of the car’s door panel, there was half a packet of chocolate biscuits left over by an unknown person.

In the last few days, they had been so busy that they hadn’t eaten. During the rest stop in the middle of the journey, the group would have eaten something to fill their stomachs. But no one thought to get her some.

Who would ask if walkers ate?

It did seem like zombies didn’t need to eat.

But Yu Huan always liked to eat. She would be too tired and uninspired, so she wanted to eat something even more.

She stared at the half-eaten packet of biscuits for a while, then reached out her hand and, with great effort, ate a chocolate biscuit.

The car door opened with a bang and the bright sunlight from outside flooded in, lighting up her cold, white, weak face and the sudden bulge on her cheeks.

Her eyes were round and dark, and she was quiet.

She was like the grass in the cracks in the stone, growing in the wrong place so everything is wrong, no matter how much it struggles there will be no one to provide for it.

Lu Mingzhang looked at the half-eaten packet of biscuits that had been left for a long time and frowned.

He grabbed Yu Huan’s chin and said in a deep voice, ‘Spit it out.’

Yu Huan was unsure, but she had always been good at obeying, her eyelashes gently blinking as she spat out the chocolate biscuit she had brought into her mouth into the other’s hand.

The chocolate biscuit was light brown, soft and slightly damp in the corner.

Lu Mingzhang’s jaw tightened. He didn’t know what was going on in his head or what was bothering him.

He stood up and left.

When he came back again, the tall figure stood outside the car door and threw Yu Huan an unopened packet of the same chocolate biscuits and a can of sweet milk.

The little zombie’s eyes lit up for a moment.

She took the packet, touched the edges of the wrapper, and pinched the ends hard, ready to tear it open. Everything was done slowly, and the zombie’s speed of movement was just slow.

‘Effortless.’

Lu Mingzhang Roach impatiently closed the car door, got in, took the biscuits from Yu Huan’s hand, and tore them open straight away.

Having milk is mother.

With food, Yu Huan didn’t care if he had a good or bad attitude.

She was like a shield between them, ignoring him completely as she ate the biscuits.

‘Slow death.’

Lu Mingzhang Roach said with a hundred dislikes.

‘Do zombies really want to eat?’The best funny subordinate, Mu Fei, heard about this and ran over to watch.

Mu Fei had short, shaggy hair, not too different from those menacing people, and Yu Huan was occasionally willing to play with him.

He often came to this car.

Skilledly and with a big grin, he pulled open the car door, and seeing the scene inside the car, Mu Fei stood dumbfounded.

Their boss, that pair of hands with a gun and a knife, is on one side with milk and on the other side with biscuits.

The milk can was uncovered, and the biscuits were first soaked in the milk for a few seconds, made soft, and then stuffed into the mouth of the little zombie.

It was all done very quickly and efficiently, and the empty biscuit bag was thrown to the bottom, showing that their boss had already finished feeding a packet of biscuits in this way.

Could this be the same boss who could make a child cry with a single nomination?

Mu Fei was stunned.

The little zombie was wooden and froze, eating whatever was fed to her, her dark eyes looking over a few beats slower. She didn’t mind their boss’s rough movements at all.

Their boss, on the other hand, glowered at her, silently threatening to stop him from talking nonsense.

‘Ah, I got little bugs in my eyes, I didn’t see anything!’ Mu Fei rolled away, putting on a show.

Meanwhile, Yu Huan ate happily.

The system that had witnessed all of this wanted to speak.

It was surprising to see that the villain’s daughter was not transformed into a phoenix, but the child was their own, so they could not help but hate the iron and steel that raised the feeling of…

This is the same ruthless villain?
