The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1638: Making Money is Too Awesome (3)

Yang Ruxin certainly wasn't planning to truly leave; she hadn't yet seen the results she was waiting for. She was just trying to scare him a bit. So, when she heard movement, she hurriedly stopped in her tracks.

Shen Wenbi wasn't completely unconscious. At this point, he had slowly turned over and was lying on the ground. Honestly, it might have been better if he had fainted—it would have spared him the embarrassment.

But since things had come to this, Shen Wenbi decided to just face it head-on. The worst had already happened, after all.

To be fair, he had considered ruthlessly cursing Yang Ruxin out and chasing her away with some dignity. But the pain caused by "that thing," in its current state, was far too unbearable. It made him feel as though life was worse than death every moment. So, he could only relent.

"Little Divine Doctor, I was wrong. I beg you… please save me…" Shen Wenbi lay limp on the ground, his voice weak. "As long as you can make me normal again, I'll do anything—anything you want. Truly, I know I was wrong."

"You're no longer doubting me?" Yang Ruxin raised her eyebrow slightly.

Shen Wenbi shook his head hurriedly. As if there was any need for doubt—it was plainly her doing! Unfortunately, even knowing the truth wouldn't help him now. He could only lower his pride and play it safe.

"Can you get up?" Yang Ruxin grinned.

Shen Wenbi nodded. Even if he couldn't, he had to try—lying on the ground was too cold. He struggled to get up and eventually crawled onto the bed to lie down properly.

"Measure the length and width yourself." Yang Ruxin tossed a ruler over to Shen Wenbi before turning her head to look at the door.

Shen Wenbi winced slightly but resigned himself to the task. He picked up the ruler…

After getting the measurements, Yang Ruxin smirked again. Honestly… The old man's potion-making skills were truly astonishing, completely overshadowing any modern brand of those so-called "enhancement pills."

Alright, enough marveling. It was time to treat the patient.

Using the full diagnostic process and acupuncture protocol, an hour slipped by before it was finally completed. Only then did Yang Ruxin call Shen Wanyin and his wife into the room.

"I can cure him, but it will take at least three months," Yang Ruxin said, looking at them. "Additionally, he'll need acupuncture every ten days and medication alongside it…"

"No problem…"

"I haven't finished speaking yet." Yang Ruxin curved her lips into a sly smile. "Each acupuncture session costs five hundred taels, and each set of medication costs one hundred taels of silver..." she said while packing up the silver needles. "Today's treatment was a gift—free of charge. If your mother wants treatment, make sure to send me a message a day in advance. Otherwise…"

Shen Wanyin's heart clenched painfully. As a shrewd businessman himself, he had never expected to encounter someone even more cunning than him. Such exorbitant treatment fees were unheard of. But could he refuse? Of course not. He could only grit his teeth and nod. "We'll treat her—we have to treat her."

Returning from the Shen Family, Yang Ruxin was in a fantastic mood. Earning this money felt absolutely gratifying.

Her smile hadn't yet faded when someone arrived to report that Gu Yuan had returned.

Yang Ruxin watched as three children followed behind Gu Yuan into the room. Seeing them obediently kneel and kowtow before her—especially catching sight of Luo Qiaoqiao's swollen, rough fingers—she suddenly felt a pang of bitterness. It inexplicably reminded her of the late Yang Dani. Like Luo Qiaoqiao, Yang Dani had been an eldest daughter, but Luo Qiaoqiao, in contrast, was far more deserving of respect.

"Miss Yang, I'm Luo Qiaoqiao. These are my two younger brothers." Luo Qiaoqiao had been informed of Yang Ruxin's identity by Gu Yuan before entering the room. Rising briefly after kowtowing, she lifted her head with faint nervousness. "Brother Gu Yuan said you know the whereabouts of my father and uncle—is that true?"
