Chapter 121 New Fragment/Upgrade/Blood Curse_3

Looking at the current skills set, if Kana were to fight that demon now, he is 100% confident that he could overpower the demon and behead him within at least 20 rounds of battle.

Thinking of this, he once again took out the Creation Stone Fragment that he picked up after defeating the demon from his pocket.

He turned the fragment over and examined it, trying to determine which Stone of Creation it originated from.

Then he reached a conclusion.

At least, it wasn't from the Stones of Creation that he had in his possession.

But since it was obtained from the Blood Race, there's a chance he might find a connection to it.

After pondering for a moment, Kana put it back, deciding not to use it for now.

After doing all this, Kana finally relaxed, with a smile that never left his face.

"It seems you've gained a lot?" Bobo looked at him and said.

Kana glanced back and nodded slightly.

"This time, the assault on the Blood Race can be conducted a bit more boldly."

"A bit more boldly?" Bobo asked in confusion.

Kana nodded.

This time's gains were too great, beyond his previous expectations, something completely outside of his plans.

It's equivalent to Kana being able to forcefully elevate his power to level 7 in battle. With his equipment and skills, he could now, to some extent, face off against a level 8 strong opponent. If it were a familiar boss, he could even take down the opponent.

Don't underestimate it, knowing that if Martin were to fight the current Kana, Kana guarantees a 70% chance of taking him down.

He originally had no strong desire for revenge in this Blood Calamity.

More than anything else, beyond trying to seize the easily accessible Stone of Creation, was to locate those cultists within the Blood Race who had fallen into the grasp of the Evil God.

He dared to ensure that the number of these cultists is by no means small.

By cleansing these cultists, fulfilling his vow, and gaining experience for leveling up.

As for those powerful individuals within the Blood Race, he had no interest at all.

Moreover, there were a few stronger than Martin whom he absolutely could not provoke.

The entire 1.0 storyline, without a doubt, was sparked by the Blood Race's Blood Calamity.

The plot of version 1 is certainly not related to an apocalypse or a crisis affecting the whole continent.

So the scope of the Blood Calamity has always been centered among the few factions around the Safro Kingdom.

When players awaken and start playing, the Blood Race's Royal Court is already beginning to decline.

Of course, players definitely don't know this at that time.

It's only uncovered in the later stages of the storyline.

Kana estimated that the time is likely around now, with the Blood Race's Royal Court's actions being almost undisguised.

After all, their main task now, the main reason for waging war is to seize the Creation Stone Fragment during the chaos.

To find the fragment of a whole Stone of Creation that they were close to forming.

But such behavior almost blatantly tells the other factions that they have the ability or technology to find the fragments.

This is a brand new technology that every faction desires.

Before the Blood Race's Royal Court, other forces had almost no way to search for them.

This suddenly made them a target for everyone, let alone allowing other forces to get wind of the Blood Race's Royal Court possibly possessing a complete Stone of Creation soon.

This is unacceptable for most factions; every complete Stone of Creation appearance will lead to battles among the strong.

A complete Stone of Creation holds too much allure for all strong beings.

The Holy Light Church needs more Stones of Creation to strengthen the Holy Light.

The Magic Council needs more Stones of Creation to expand the boundaries of magic power.

Each country needs a Stone of Creation to make their realm eternally prosperous.

Each race needs a Stone of Creation to allow their race to thrive and develop.

If they could secretly collect them without being discovered, it would be fine, but now that they've been discovered, it's another story.

The most terrifying is if the Blood Race were to obtain a complete Stone of Creation.

Look at the Blood Race; who would dare let them get a complete Stone of Creation? Who knows what they would do with it.

Throughout history, there have been genuinely crazy individuals who have obtained a complete Stone of Creation, bringing hundreds of years of exaggerated catastrophe to the world.

In such situations, another Stone of Creation had to be found to eliminate the catastrophe, wasting two stones for nothing; who knows when they might have been gathered again.

So in the case of a possible madman controlling a Stone of Creation, all factions and countries would tacitly go all out in attacking.

Even if the stones are forsaken, it must be stopped.

The Blood Race's King clearly matches such a profile.

A sinister race that eats the flesh and blood of all intelligent races is hard to accept.

And unlike ogres and other races, which have all sorts of issues.

However, at the end of the storyline in the later yet-to-be-developed versions, all players watched a magnificent cutscene CG.

Seeing the Blood Race's King holding a Stone of Creation that had already fused into a whole.

He merely used everyone's attack and the presence of many strong beings on site to complete a ritual.

Maximizing the stone's function in his hands.

After all, at that time, his study of the Stone of Creation was undoubtedly at the world's top level.

Through that ritual, he amplified the Stone of Creation's function at once, turning it into a curse to create a new race.

This is the Blood Race King's madness.

He did not transform the Blood Race into a new race but aimed to turn all races into the Blood Race.

Thereby generating an almost uncould remove curse.

The Blood Curse, the remnant of the Blood Calamity.

At the time the curse was cast, all juvenile individuals of existing races, along with any subsequent newborns.

Could potentially be infected by the Blood Curse and transform into the Blood Race.

This resulted in a new version where all available races had an additional selectable Blood Curse version.

Thus, stopping or not stopping had no more meaning.

This "grandfather" had already achieved his goal long ago, with even the entire Blood Race Royal Court being merely a tool to achieve his aim.

He was a madman entirely pursuing his lifelong dream, willing to abandon everything, and disguised so well that no one realized.
