The GOAT Returns:Reincarnated to dominated Football again

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Grinding Like a GOAT

The first rays of morning sunlight filtered through the dusty blinds of Tommy Bradfield's small bedroom.

For most high school students, waking up at 4:30 AM was a form of torture.

For Tom Brady?

It was normal.

He had spent decades perfecting his morning routine—wake up before the sun, hydrate, stretch, and then get straight to training.

This body? It was garbage. Weak, slow, completely untrained. But he could fix that.

He pulled up the System Interface.

[GOAT SYSTEM - Daily Training Mode]

• Passing Drills (+0.2 Throw Power per session)

• Footwork (+0.2 Agility per session)

• Strength Training (+0.3 Strength per session)

• Film Study (+0.5 Football IQ per session)

• Stamina Workouts (+0.2 Stamina per session)

[You may complete TWO sessions per day.]

"Alright," Tom muttered to himself. "Time to work."

He didn't have fancy gyms, personal trainers, or cutting-edge nutritionists. But he had experience—he knew exactly how to push himself to the limit.

And so, the grind began.

Morning Routine - Day 1

Strength Training:

There was no way around it—Tom's new body was weak.

Push-ups? He barely got past 10 before his arms started trembling.

Pull-ups? Pathetic.

By the end of his first workout session, his entire body felt like it had been run over by a truck.

[+0.3 Strength]

Small gains.

But in football, every inch counted.

Footwork & Agility Drills:

Tom knew the importance of footwork. Quarterbacks didn't just need strong arms; they needed quick feet, sharp reactions, and perfect balance.

But this body?

He tripped over his own feet during his first drill.

Embarrassing.

[+0.2 Agility]

Passing Drills:

This was the worst part.

In his prime, Tom's throws were legendary—pinpoint accuracy, perfect spirals, elite timing.

Now? His spirals wobbled, his throws lacked zip, and his arm felt fragile.

But he didn't let that stop him.

He grabbed an old football from the garage and threw it against a brick wall over and over.

Focus on mechanics.

Keep the elbow high.

Step into the throw.

It wasn't pretty. But by the end of the session…

[+0.2 Throw Power]

Lunchtime: High School Hell

After a brutal morning workout, Tom showered and headed to school.

Walking through the hallways of Jefferson High, he quickly realized something.

He was a nobody.

In his past life, everywhere he went, people treated him like a king—fans, analysts, even opposing players.

But here?

"Hey look, it's Benchfield!"

"Dude, are you even gonna make a pass this season?"

"Might as well switch to waterboy duty."

Tom exhaled slowly.

They had no idea.

He spotted Jason Keller, the starting quarterback, holding court in the cafeteria like he was already a future NFL superstar.

Keller's arm was strong, but his arrogance? Even stronger.

"Bradfield," Keller smirked, noticing Tom walk by. "How's the bench treating you?"

Tom smiled back. "Enjoy your spot while you can."

The cafeteria fell silent.

Some kids started laughing.

Keller's grin faded.

"Oh? The loser thinks he's taking my spot?" Keller leaned forward. "Tell you what, let's make a bet. Tomorrow's practice—if you complete more passes than me, I'll let you take my reps. But if you lose?"

Tom crossed his arms. "What's the catch?"

Keller grinned. "You quit the team."

More laughter.

But Tom? He wasn't laughing.

He stared straight into Keller's eyes.

"Deal."

Nighttime: The System's Blessing

Tom knew one thing: if he wanted to win, he needed more power.

His mind was elite, but his body was still trash.

"System," he muttered, pulling up the interface. "What's my progress?"

A new pop-up notification appeared.

[Daily Training Completed!]

• +0.5 Strength

• +0.4 Agility

• +0.4 Throw Power

• +0.5 Football IQ

It wasn't much.

But it was something.

And tomorrow, he'd make sure the whole team saw the difference.
