The Hero of Hypnosis

The four of them decided to leave the town, bummed by the fact that they wouldn't be able to do their usual adventuring work here. Their plan was to reach A-Rank before moving on to the next city. Kai really didn't want to go to Qasyran City, so that meant their next point of interest would be Vaudrille, the Capital City.

"Do you seriously not want to go to Qasyran? Does being the hero bother you that much?" Sasha wondered. She knew that anyone would kill to be in his position.

"It's not that I hate being the hero, which I don't care for, it's more so of the fact that I will have responsibilities. I didn't want to be the hero. I just wanted to have fun, enjoy life, fuck a shit ton of girls, get them pregnant, and continue the same thing until I get bored or whatever."

"You do know that being the hero means that you'll have authority that can almost rival a king, right?" Sasha asked

"Why care about any of that if you can't be the best? The hero is still not a king nor has the authority of one. Even if they did, they would still have to follow the will of their god. Why would I care about working for anyone like that? Because it's honorable, and I would save lives? Fuck that. People die, it's a part of life. Look at us right now. We're leaving this dump because we don't like the place, but there are people who are suffering and arent as fortunate as us. What are you doing about that? The title of hero should go to people who are selfless, not selfish. I don't fit that category because I don't care about people I don't know. Will I help here and there? Sure, I'm not a dick, but I'm also not a saint."

"Wow." Sasha didn't know what to say. She wasn't expecting such an answer from him. What he said was the complete truth, and she knew that as well because she felt the same way.

"Ha, nothing to say?"Gwen teased.

"She's just speechless because my Kai spoke straight facts!" Amaya said proudly.

"He's MY Kai, you feline!" Gwen growled

Amaya hissed. "Fuck off, you red lizard!"

"Oi!" A man called out from a distance.

When the four of them looked to the side to see who it was, they saw a fat man surrounded by over 20 men, lighting a cigar.

"Hello, sir fatman. How may we help you?" Kai bowed, and the girls followed his example.

He blew smoke out of his mouth. "At least the kid has manners. I heard you messed with my men. Slashed their legs and left them to bleed out. Is that true?" He asked.

"That is false, your Heinie. We encountered thugs, not your men. Certainly, stupid thugs wouldn't work for someone as smart, rich, and fat as you."

"Haha, I really like this guy." The fat man said to his men. "Why can't any of y'all fuck ups be like him. He even called me 'Your Highness.' Such respect."

"E-Excuse me, sir, he called you Heine, not highness." One of his men pointed out.

"Huuuh? Are you trying to piss me off, you bitch? Do you think I don't know what he said?" The fat man asked angrily, using the man's arm to put out his cigar.

"N-No, sir! I'm sorry, sir! Please forgive me." The man pleaded

"Fucking coward. Anyway, because you youngins are so polite, I'll let you off the hook for hurting my men. However, you still need to pay for making my image look bad, even if it was unintentional."

Kai rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. "What do you want?"

"You see that forest over there? There's an A-Rank monster that lives in that place. It kills anyone who enters the place and makes business bad for the area. There is only one road from here to the Capital, and travelers lose their lives trying to come here. The south road that leads to Ashenfall is fine, though."

"So you want us to kill this monster?" Kai asked

"No, I want you to go and throw it a party. Yes, I want you to kill it."

'You motherfucker! Getting smart with me! I should fuck you up!' Kai held himself back.

"An A-Rank monster, huh? Is it a party or solo level monster?"

"Party." The fatman replied

"Fine, however, your guild will promote us to an A-Rank party after we complete the quest."

"Deal. Bring me back the monster's core. It's very valuable. Make sure not to damage it either."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, let's go, girls."

"H-Hey, boss. Do you think they will kill the monster?"

"Eh, we'll see. If they do, then business booms. If they don't, we're still in business.

"Kai, why did you agree to his request? I was sure you were going to beat his ass or something." Gwen wondered, hugging his arm.

"I was, especially after he got smart with me, but then I thought that we could just become an A-Rank party in one go. It's honestly not a bad deal if you think about it. Besides, I'm strong as fuck."

"Also dumb." Sasha snickered.

"Hey! That's mean. Why did you say that?"

"Because you didn't negotiate our pay. We wont earn any money from this."

"Fuck. You're right. It's a good thing that I don't plan on giving him the monster's core." Kai smirked, wrapping his arm around Sasha, groping her tits.

"Really? And what do you plan on doing when he gets angry and tries to kill you for it?"

"It wont come to that. Besides, do you really think the fatty has the means to take us on?" He asked.

"Ahhn~N-No, I was just wondering what you would do."

"Hehe, we'll be in and out of this forest in no time. We're all way stronger than we were a few weeks ago, so an A-Rank monster should be a piece of cake."

"Hell yeah! I can't wait to sink my claws into that beast!" Amaya morphed her hands into claws and licked her lips.

Gwen did the same. "I'm always down for a challenge! I'll burn it to a crisp!"

"Are they always like this?" Sasha asked

"All the time."
