The Insights of the Gods, Deducing the Forbidden Spells at Hogwarts

Chapter 30: Chapter 30: Brother, Are All Wizards This Powerful?

The term wizard wasn't entirely unfamiliar to most Muggles.

After all, many people read novels or accounts of supernatural events.

There were always things that science couldn't explain, especially paranormal phenomena.

Take Harry, for example.

Years ago, he had seen a news report about a mysterious creature spotted by a riverbank.

It resembled a dragon, breathing fire and scorching trees.

Of course, what Harry didn't know…

Was that it was real.

And more surprisingly, that creature had been Charlie in one of his transformed states.

Back when he was still young, Charlie had accidentally been seen once.

But since no evidence was found, it was merely treated as a sensational story.

"So, you really are my brother?"

"Charlie?"

Harry asked, his voice trembling slightly.

Deep down, he already knew the answer.

For some reason, he felt an instinctive fear toward this owl in front of him.

Not because it could talk…

But out of caution, he still asked.

"Yeah."

Charlie confirmed.

"You must be really curious about wizards now, huh?"

Charlie didn't bother beating around the bush with Harry.

"Y-yes, b-brother…"

"Here, watch."

Charlie gestured toward a nearby stone pillar.

Then, a flash of purple light flickered in his eyes.

A surge of magical energy shot out

Boom!

A chunk of the stone pillar instantly exploded.

Harry jumped back several steps, eyes wide with terror.

This was horrifying!

In all his life…

He had never seen such power, power that could shatter stone.

His brother…

Was this powerful?

So this is what it means to be a wizard?

We're from the same parents, so why can he do this while I'm just hiding in trees…

"Charlie… are all wizards this powerful?"

Harry asked hesitantly.

Charlie thought for a moment.

"Not exactly. Some are pretty weak. The ability I just showed you? Not many can do that."

Charlie wasn't just talking about blasting the stone.

But also about his ability to possess animals while maintaining his magic.

And casting spells without a wand.

All of these required deep control over magic.

"Then, Charlie… I want to learn magic too!"

Harry took a deep breath, gathering his courage.

"If I learn magic, maybe I can help you… maybe I can turn you back into a human!"

Harry declared with determination.

He completely believed Charlie's story.

And in his mind…

His brother must have suffered something terrible, something that turned him into an owl.

He had read about such curses in books.

Evil witches turning people into animals.

Charlie almost choked on his own frustration.

He smacked Harry lightly on the head.

"I chose to turn into this form just to see you!"

"I already told you, come find me at Sunny Orphanage. Do you think I'd ask you to look for an owl?"

"I'm human. Same height as you."

"And way more handsome."

Charlie explained helplessly.

"R-right…"

Harry realized how dumb his assumption had been.

"Alright, I've seen you now."

"I know your life's been tough."

"But don't worry. When you come find me later, I'll teach you some magic."

"I'll even give you some money, so you can eat properly and enjoy life a little."

"At least that way, I won't feel like I'm failing Mom and Dad."

After saying that, Charlie flapped his wings.

Slowly, he rose into the sky.

"I have to go. See you later. Take care of yourself."

Harry watched the owl rise into the air.

A trace of reluctance flashed in his eyes.

But in the end, he only said one thing

"See you."

Inside, however, he couldn't stop smiling.

Family.

I have a brother.

And what a reassuring feeling it is.

My brother is so strong.

A wizard.

He can shatter stone.

And even transform into an owl.

Amazing!

By now, Charlie had already disappeared into the clouds.

If he had known what was going through Harry's mind…

He probably would've been so frustrated that he'd fallen right out of the sky.

Still, things had gone well.

Harry had listened.

That was enough to satisfy Charlie.

One of his main goals in coming here…

Was to lay a solid magical foundation for Harry.

To be honest…

Harry's magical growth wasn't particularly fast.

So, Charlie wanted to prepare him in advance.

At least enough to protect himself in the future.

But what Charlie hadn't expected was …

In the future, due to Charlie's guidance

Harry's magical proficiency would reach great heights.

Of course, he would never surpass Charlie.

Charlie left in a bit of a hurry.

But he had no choice.

Because back at the hospital…

His keen perception had detected someone watching them from the shadows.

At first, the person had been following Harry.

But eventually, their attention shifted to Charlie.

What made it even more interesting was

Charlie's senses picked up a hidden magical mark on the person's arm.

Though it was concealed by special magic,

It still couldn't escape Charlie's detection.

No doubt about it

A Death Eater.

"Interesting."

Charlie hovered leisurely in the air, deliberately slowing his flight.

He waited on purpose.

Meanwhile, the figure in the shadows hurried along the ground, closely following the owl's path.

At the same time

Inside an orphanage…

A small figure stepped out.

And began walking toward a dense forest in the distance.
