The Invincible Sect Leader

Chapter 79: Chapter 79: Loneliness and Rich

After the intense battles and the darkness that loomed over the sect, a strange silence fell upon the Heavenly Mystical Sect. Chan Li sat atop his grand throne, sipping tea and staring into the distance with a bored expression.

"Ah... I'm so rich now," he muttered, tossing a handful of spiritual stones into the air, letting them rain down like leaves in the autumn breeze. "But why do I feel so empty?" His eyes twitched as he realized something profound having too much money with no one to spend it on was a curse of its own.

Meanwhile, his disciples were buzzing with activities. Some were still recovering from their previous battles, while others were busy training or managing their respective pavilions. However, when they heard the sect leader sighing in despair, they knew trouble was brewing.

"First Senior Brother, the Sect Leader looks depressed again..." whispered one disciple to another.

"Last time this happened, he started a ridiculous business selling spiritual Coca-Cola. What will he come up with this time?"

Just as they were speaking, Chan Li abruptly stood up. "I have decided! I shall go on an adventure!"

The disciples gasped. The last time their sect leader went out, the entire mortal realm ended up in chaos, and new enemies were created at every turn.

"Sect Leader! Where will you go?" one brave disciple asked hesitantly.

"To the Mortal Realm! It's been too long since I've had some fun!" Chan Li declared, a grin forming on his face.

His disciples shuddered. Fun? That usually meant bankrupting local merchants, tricking arrogant nobles, and out-drinking legendary warriors in taverns.

The Journey to the Mortal Realm

Disguised as an ordinary cultivator, Chan Li descended into the Mortal Realm, his pockets overflowing with spiritual stones.

The first place he visited was a small town, where a group of arrogant merchants were boasting about their wealth. "Only the richest men can dine in my restaurant!" a fat, pompous man sneered at a poor beggar who was just looking for a meal.

Chan Li's eyes gleamed mischievously. "Oh? Only the richest men?" He strolled inside and casually tossed a bag of top-grade spirit stones onto the counter. "Give me everything on the menu, ten times over!"

The entire restaurant fell into stunned silence. The merchant's face paled. He quickly bowed. "Esteemed customer! Please, take a seat! We shall serve you immediately!"

Chan Li smirked as he enjoyed the finest dishes, throwing spiritual stones as tips to the waiters. He even made sure to sneak some food to the beggar outside, secretly making him his spy for future shenanigans.

As night fell, he found himself in a high-stakes gambling den. "Are you sure you want to bet everything, young man?" an old gambler sneered.

Chan Li grinned, placing an entire mountain of spiritual stones on the table. "Bet? No, I'm here to buy this place."

The entire gambling den erupted in chaos. "WHAT?!" The owner fell to his knees. "Y-you can't just buy an entire casino!"

Chan Li laughed. "Too late! It's mine now! And as the new owner... I say drinks are on the house!"

The night ended with endless laughter, a trail of scammed merchants, and a new legend spreading across the Mortal Realm. "The Mysterious Rich Cultivator Who Owns Everything."

Meanwhile, back at the sect, the disciples sighed as they read the reports about their Sect Leader's antics. "First Senior Brother... do you think he'll ever stop?"

The First Senior Brother sighed, rubbing his temples. "Not in this lifetime..."
