The Invincible Sect Leader

Chapter 92: Chapter 92: Into the Demon Realm

After months of training under Chan Li, his son, Chan Lang, had finally reached a level of cultivation where he could hold his own against even veteran disciples of the Heavenly Mystic Sect. But his thirst for challenge and adventure led him to seek something beyond the sect's confines.

One fateful day, while traversing the ancient ruins of a forgotten battlefield, Chan Lang stumbled upon an ominous, swirling vortex of dark energy. His curiosity piqued, he approached it cautiously, sensing an immense yet chaotic power radiating from within.

"This... this is a portal to another realm," he murmured. "But where does it lead?"

As if answering his question, the vortex pulsed violently, and before he could react, he was sucked into the swirling darkness.

Arrival in the Demon Realm

Chan Lang emerged from the portal, landing on cracked, scorched earth under a crimson sky. The air was thick with the scent of blood, sulfur, and raw malice. Towering black mountains surrounded an abyssal city, where creatures of nightmare roamed.

"Where... am I?" Chan Lang muttered, shaking off the disorientation.

Suddenly, demonic auras surged toward him. A battalion of demonic beings horned warriors, grotesque behemoths, and spectral wraiths appeared, their crimson eyes gleaming with murderous intent.

"Intruder! You dare step into the domain of the One-Horn Demon General?!" one of them roared.

Chan Lang grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Finally, some fun."

Disciples Join the Fray

Meanwhile, back at the sect, several of the strongest disciples sensed Chan Lang's sudden disappearance. The most battle-hungry among them, including Tian Feng, Yue Bai, and Wu Hei, grew restless.

"Chan Lang has ventured into another realm?" Tian Feng smirked. "We can't let him have all the fun."

"Agreed! A good fight has been overdue!" Yue Bai added, stretching his arms eagerly.

Without hesitation, they activated their divine talismans and followed the residual energy of the vortex, arriving in the same hellish landscape as Chan Lang.

What they saw made their blood boil with excitement. Chan Lang was already engaged in fierce combat, battling dozens of demons at once with an ecstatic grin on his face.

"Tch! Why does he get to have all the fun?" Wu Hei groaned before dashing forward to join the fray.

The Year-Long Battle

What started as a skirmish quickly escalated into an all-out war. The disciples and the demon armies clashed endlessly, neither side backing down. Blood and sweat soaked the battlefield as warriors from both factions relished the exhilarating combat.

The demons, who had long dominated this realm, were astonished. These humans... they fought like possessed battle maniacs!

Tian Feng laughed as he clashed swords with a horned demon captain. "Is it just me, or do these demons actually know how to fight? This is fun!"

Yue Bai, mid-air while dodging a barrage of demonic energy blasts, yelled back, "Don't get too excited, or you might forget that we're supposed to win!"

For days, weeks, then months, the battle raged. Neither side yielded. Chan Lang and his comrades found themselves reveling in the madness. They experimented with new techniques, learned to push their limits, and even created makeshift battle formations on the spot.

The demons, too, were evolving. The One-Horn Demon General had taken notice of these insatiable human warriors and personally stepped into the battlefield.

His presence alone shook the realm, his dark aura blotting out the already dim light.

"Enough!" the One-Horn Demon General bellowed. "Your foolish persistence ends now!"

Chan Lang smirked, wiping blood off his chin. "Oh? You're finally here? Took you long enough."

The other disciples grinned, their eyes burning with battle lust.

Wu Hei, resting his blade on his shoulder, sneered. "A real opponent at last. This is gonna be fun!"
