The Lich of Glory Knight Spirit: Moving towards Krimasha!

Chapter 41: Goblin Kingdom (3)_3

Jones turned his head and glanced at Adelle, speaking softly, "If he looks for me, I'll be on the lookout. Thank you."

"No, not just on the lookout," Adelle hurriedly said, "I hope that if he looks for you, you can tell me. Because of his connections, I've gotten into some trouble, so I'm desperate to find him. I have to find him."

"What kind of trouble specifically?"

"A few members of the Blood Clan have gone missing. Not under my command, but with some notoriety. They're basically Hilde's thugs. Anyway, I need to handle this; otherwise, there will be problems. It will affect my standing in the Sambo family. Do you understand what I mean?" Adelle widened his eyes and looked at Jones expectantly.

After a slight hesitation, Jones nodded, "If he looks for me or if I find him, I'll definitely tell you."

"Okay, thank you, my brother Jones!" said Adelle, opening his arms and hugging Jones tightly, "I'm counting on you!"

After a while, Adelle left with his men.

No sooner had Adelle's men left than Bruto and Simon arrived. Jones even suspected they had been there the whole time, just waiting to collect the goods. Not exactly "just arrived."

Looking at a large array of armor and weapons, the two liches, each thousands of years old, were as excited as boys seeing their favorite toys. Hugging each other, they screamed and cheered exaggeratedly.

"With this, next time our display will definitely be more impressive than Lucy and the others!"

"No doubt about it!"

"But we need more! When we go to war with the Dragon Clan, we should be the vanguard! The Dragon Clan has money! With money, we can have even more armor!"

"It's decided then!"

These might be the least picky customers in history. Well, after all, they're not the ones who will be wearing the armor when they take it back. As long as it looks good and cool enough, it's fine.

After chatting a bit more with the Hydra and amusing it, Bruto and Simon left, using spatial magic to take all the armor and weapons away.

Jones finally breathed a sigh of relief.

This counted as Jones's first income, but he couldn't feel happy at all because of Adelle's words. His mind was a mess.

*"Adolf's identity is entirely fake? His purpose was to get close to me?"*

Jones had considered the possibility of Adolf wanting to get close to him long ago, but he never thought Adolf's identity was fake.

*If that were the case, then his father's words were right. The Cappadocia family was truly wiped out...*

Perhaps because of his guilty conscience, Jones had forgotten to ask in detail just now. Logically, if Adelle said there was evidence, he should at least ask, "What evidence?" Yet he asked nothing.

*Thinking about it now, it was all a tangled mess.*

Due to working with the dwarves, Jones's schedule had gradually changed. He worked during the day and rested at night. After a busy day, he dragged his tired body back to his room door.

*"Did my behavior just now make Adelle think I don't believe him? Maybe I should go find Adelle tomorrow and ask for more details?"*

Thinking this, Jones reached out and pushed open his room door.

When the door opened, Jones's eyes widened.

Crimson moonlight slanted through the window, casting the entire room in red.

Adolf sat silently in a chair in his room, watching him. Smiling, his face was deathly pale.
