The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 274: A Wise Man Submits to Circumstances (Part 4)

Siya finished speaking and respectfully lowered her head, quietly waiting for the Demon King's response.

The tent fell into a brief silence once more.

Luo Yan leaned back gently in his chair, a contemplative expression on his face as he looked at Siya, who was bowing respectfully, and Nema, who stood nervously behind her.

This is a good proposal.

After the Guardian Clan, players now had another Lizardman species to choose from, and one with innate optical camouflage at that.

He nodded slightly, speaking in a gentle tone.

"I accept your allegiance, but you must understand that offering one hundred young talents is not enough to earn our protection."

Siya nodded and said,

"We are prepared to offer everything, no matter what requests you make... even if it means having our Clan Mother come here in person to pledge loyalty to you, or even becoming one of your concubines."

Sarah, who was initially distracted, suddenly had a sharp look in her eyes.

Luo Yan cleared his throat and raised his hand to stop this.

"That won't be necessary."

He admitted that these Lizardmen were quite handsome, but he wasn't so desperate as to not even discriminate between races.

"I need you to regularly provide us with lizard eggs capable of bearing offspring, and convert to our faith."

Pausing for a moment, Luo Yan continued,

"Of course, you may retain your traditions and rituals, but you must not oppose or obstruct the Great Graveyard's Acolytes from proselytizing in your living areas."

Siya hesitated only slightly before agreeing with a nod.

"No problem."

Being able to retain their original traditions and rites was already the best outcome for the Sand Ridge Clan.

If it were the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom, those arrogant guys would certainly not give them the opportunity to choose their fate, but rather erase their traditions along with their lineage from this land.

As for tributes of lizard eggs, that was no issue.

They occasionally ate some of the less developed eggs themselves, or even bit to death the weak infants, to ensure the overall strength and excellence of the clan's bloodline.

Watching Siya, who agreed to all conditions, Luo Yan nodded slightly and concluded the negotiation with a hint of pleasure in his voice.

"I am pleased to see you have made the right choice. Henceforth, the fate of your Sand Ridge Clan is tied to my throne."

Upon hearing Luo Yan's promise, the tense expression on Siya's face finally relaxed, and she nodded gratefully, saying,

"Thank you for your mercy. Our Clan Mother will come to your camp as soon as possible to pledge allegiance to you, but... it may take some time."

Luo Yan looked at her playfully and said with a smile,

"It seems you have something else to report to me."

"Yes... I have no intention of hiding anything from you, but I think you may have already guessed that our situation is not optimistic."

Siya looked at Luo Yan with a troubled expression, her head lowered, and continued cautiously,

"Although we have been very careful, news of our ambush on the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom's envoy reached Assam City, angering that arrogant and conceited false king. To intimidate other tribes, they sent an army of one hundred thousand against us... With the current strength of the Sand Ridge Clan, we are incapable of resisting this attack."

At this point, Siya humbly pressed her forehead to the ground, with a hint of supplication in her voice.

"We beseech Your Majesty to extend a helping hand... Only your strength can save our clan from destruction."

Luo Yan had anticipated she would say this.

In fact, this was a clever move by the Sand Ridge Clan.

They saw through the Demon King Army's schemes on the Gana Continent and the inevitable conflict with the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom.

If the Demon King Army wished for other tribes on the Gana Continent to submit as wholeheartedly as the Sand Ridge Clan, they definitely could not ignore the Sand Ridge Clan, who first pledged allegiance to them.

While being used, Luo Yan didn't mind.

He liked smart people and hated those who tried to be too clever and played both sides.

Since the Sand Ridge Clan risked everything to stand by him, how could he let down such loyal servants?

"Don't worry; they won't be jumping around for long."

At these words, Siya and Nema were instantly filled with surprise, exchanging glances. Although they did not know why His Majesty the Demon King was so confident, they had no choice but to believe... that this lord was serious, and not merely imagining things.

Otherwise, her envoy might be the only remaining bloodline of the Sand Ridge Clan...

The Clan Mother had obviously considered this, which is why she entrusted the young talents and the direct lineage of various families to her care.

But if possible, she hoped the worst-case scenario would not happen.

Seeing Siya's mind racing furiously, Luo Yan had no intention of wasting words, standing up from his seat, and said with a tinge of interest in his voice.

"Now, take me to see your clansmen... Let me observe their skills and experience the prowess of your Sand Ridge Clan."

Quickly discarding her complex thoughts, Siya did not dare to delay, respectfully nodded, and said,

"As you command... Please follow me."
