The One Punch Man (a.k.a Saitama) in Demon Slayer

Chapter 68: Chapter 66: Ramen Sprint Arc – Day Two Disaster

The next morning, the sky was still dark when Saitama kicked open the door to the trainee's sleeping quarters.

"Wake up, noodle boys!" Saitama's voice echoed like thunder, jolting Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke awake.

"Why is training starting before sunrise?!" Zenitsu cried, clutching his blanket like his life depended on it.

"Because ramen tastes better in the morning," Saitama said with complete seriousness, his blank face unmoving.

No one could argue with that logic—or lack of it—so they stumbled out, barely dressed, and stood shivering in the courtyard.

"Alright, today's sprint is special," Saitama announced, holding up a wooden crate. "This time, you're delivering 20 bowls of ramen. Each."

"TWENTY?!"

"That's impossible!" Zenitsu screamed.

"It's only impossible if you quit halfway," Saitama said, adjusting his cape. "Real heroes deliver no matter what."

"Let's do this!" Inosuke punched the air, already hyped. "Even if I have to stuff bowls in my mask, I'll get it done!"

Tanjiro sighed, but smiled. This was ridiculous… but somehow, he felt they were actually getting faster and stronger.

The Delivery Begins

The path down the hill was even steeper than yesterday, and now Saitama had filled it with obstacles. Hanging logs, swinging boulders, random traps that shot out rubber chickens — complete nonsense.

Zenitsu cried the whole way down, dodging like his life depended on it. Tanjiro activated Total Concentration Breathing just to keep his balance, while Inosuke charged through every obstacle like a raging boar, sometimes carrying extra bowls in his mouth.

They reached the ramen shop, panting and trembling.

"TWENTY BOWLS PER PERSON?!" the old chef nearly fainted.

"NO TIME TO EXPLAIN! JUST COOK!" Zenitsu howled.

Demon Interference - Level Up

As they rushed back up the hill with stacked trays of ramen, not one, but three lower moons appeared, blocking the path.

"Oh come on!" Zenitsu nearly dropped his bowls in panic.

"These demons are more dangerous than yesterday's!" Tanjiro warned, sensing their killing intent.

"We don't have time for this!" Inosuke roared, balancing ramen bowls on his swords as he charged straight at them.

"Ramen first, demons later!" Zenitsu screamed, activating Thunder Breathing: First Form to blitz past them.

Tanjiro tried to reason with the demons. "Please step aside! This is a very important delivery!"

The demons blinked in confusion, then burst out laughing. "What kind of demon slayers care about noodles more than slaying?"

"Us."

Suddenly, Saitama appeared, floating mid-air like some divine noodle guardian. With a single bored flick, all three demons exploded into sparkles of dust.

"Focus on the delivery." Saitama's cape billowed dramatically as the morning sun rose behind him.

The Final Sprint

Panting, sweating, and near tears, the trio stumbled into the Butterfly Mansion courtyard, balancing every single bowl — not a single drop spilled.

"We… did it…" Zenitsu collapsed on the ground.

"Twenty bowls… and we're still alive," Tanjiro gasped, his hands trembling.

Inosuke just laughed maniacally, stuffing his face with noodles he stole from Zenitsu's tray.

Saitama nodded approvingly. "Not bad."

And then, to their absolute horror, he casually said —

"Tomorrow, we aim for fifty."

"NOOOOOO!!!"
