Chapter 81: Chapter 79: Clash of Flames and Shadows
Juroku, the Upper Moon Four, wiped the dust off his face, his sharp claws trembling slightly. The sheer power Saitama displayed had shaken him to the core. But a demon's pride was not so easily broken.
"You… you think a single hit is enough to take me down?" Juroku growled, his body pulsing with dark energy. "I am an Upper Moon! I have fought countless warriors! I will not fall here!"
His veins glowed a fiery crimson, and suddenly, his body split into five clones, each as strong as the original.
"Blood Demon Art: Demon Mirage!"
The Hashira immediately took defensive stances. A demon that could create clones of itself? This would be troublesome.
Rengoku grinned. "AH HAHAHA! Now things are getting exciting!" His sword burst into flames. "Demon or not, you shall not pass beyond this place!"
Saitama tilted his head. "Huh. More of him? That's new."

The Battle Begins
In an instant, the five Juroku clones dashed in different directions—two towards Saitama, two towards the Hashira, and one towards Tanjiro and the younger demon slayers.
Rengoku, Sanemi, and Muichiro moved at the same time.
Rengoku blocked the first clone's attack, his Flame Breathing slashing through the air like a wildfire.
Sanemi unleashed a powerful Wind Breathing technique, sending violent gusts of wind cutting toward the second clone.
Muichiro, with his Mist Breathing, weaved through the battlefield, moving unpredictably as he struck at the third clone.
Meanwhile, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke braced themselves as the last clone charged at them.
"Saitama-san! We'll handle this one!" Tanjiro called out.
Saitama yawned. "Okay, have fun."

Saitama vs. Juroku (Original Body)
The real Juroku gritted his teeth and leaped at Saitama with terrifying speed. His claws slashed down—aiming straight for Saitama's head.
SLASH!
The attack connected.
Or at least… it should have.
Juroku's eyes widened in horror. His claws had barely made a scratch on Saitama's smooth, bald head.
Saitama blinked. "Huh. That kinda felt like a mosquito bite."
Juroku took a step back. "Impossible…!"
Saitama flicked his finger at Juroku's forehead.
BOOM!
The demon was launched hundreds of meters away, crashing through multiple trees and vanishing into the distance.
The clones screamed in pain, their bodies trembling—because the original body had taken a critical hit.
Rengoku and the others seized the opportunity.
"Flame Breathing: Ninth Form – Rengoku!"
Rengoku's blade erupted in a massive inferno as he sliced through one of the clones, reducing it to ashes.
"Wind Breathing: Seventh Form – Gale Slash!"
Sanemi tore through another clone, his wind blades shredding it apart.
"Mist Breathing: Fifth Form – Sea of Clouds and Haze!"
Muichiro vanished into the mist, striking three times in an instant, destroying another clone.
Tanjiro, seeing an opening, dashed forward with Hinokami Kagura. His sword glowed with burning heat as he aimed at the final clone.
"Dance of the Fire God!"
With a single elegant slash, the last clone disintegrated into embers.
Silence followed.
The real Juroku's body was reforming in the distance, but even as he regenerated, he felt something terrifying—fear.
He had never been defeated this easily before.
And Saitama? He hadn't even broken a sweat.

Aftermath & Saitama's Realization
As Juroku's weakened body stood trembling, Muzan's voice suddenly echoed in his head.
"Return at once. Do not engage further."
Juroku gritted his teeth. His pride was shattered, but he had no choice. If he disobeyed Muzan, the consequences would be worse than death.
With one last glare, he vanished into the darkness, retreating into the mountains.
Saitama sighed. "Guess he ran away."
Rengoku, still catching his breath, turned to Saitama with admiration. "Saitama-dono… I have never seen such overwhelming strength before."
The other Hashira nodded in agreement. Even among them, Saitama stood as an unmatched force.
Tanjiro stepped forward. "Saitama-san… You said before that you're still figuring out why you fight. Maybe this is why—you're meant to protect people."
Saitama paused, staring at the young demon slayer.
Protecting people, huh?
It was a simple thought. A simple goal. But somehow… it didn't sound too bad.
