Chapter 84: Chapter 82: The Monster’s Challenge
The eerie silence of Totsuka Village was broken by the howling wind. The Demon Slayer Corps stood tense, their hands on their weapons, ready to attack.
Saitama, however, simply stared at the mysterious demon before him.
It was unlike any demon they had encountered before. Its body was lean but muscular, covered in strange, pulsating black markings that resembled tribal tattoos. Its eyes—deep crimson with golden slits—locked onto Saitama with a look of both curiosity and hunger.
The demon grinned, revealing jagged teeth.
"So… you're the 'One Punch Man' I've heard so much about."
Saitama blinked. "Uh… yeah?"
The demon's voice was deep and unnatural. "My name is Raizen… and I was created for one purpose."
He raised a massive clawed hand and pointed directly at Saitama.
"To kill you."
A thick, suffocating killing intent spread through the air. Even the Hashira felt a chill run down their spines.
Tanjiro instinctively stepped forward, placing himself between the demon and Saitama. "Saitama-san… be careful. This demon's aura feels different from any we've faced before!"
Zenitsu was already shaking. "T-Tanjiro… are we even sure he's a demon? He feels like something else entirely!"
Inosuke cracked his knuckles, excited. "Finally, a real challenge!"
Saitama sighed. "Man… can we just get this over with?"

Raizen's Power Unleashed
Raizen chuckled. "Impatient, huh? That's fine. Let's see if you live up to the hype."
He vanished.
BOOM!
A sudden shockwave exploded through the battlefield as Raizen reappeared right in front of Saitama, swinging his massive claw.
Saitama tilted his head slightly, dodging the strike effortlessly.
The sheer force of the missed attack sent a mountain in the distance crumbling to dust.
Zenitsu's eyes nearly popped out. "H-He just destroyed a whole mountain… from a MISSED attack?!"
Even Rengoku's usual confidence wavered. "That's… on a completely different level."
But Saitama just looked bored. "That's it?"
Raizen smirked. "Let's try that again."
---
Saitama vs. Raizen
Raizen lunged forward again, his claws extending and glowing with dark energy.
Saitama yawned.
With a casual swipe of his hand, he deflected the attack, sending Raizen flying through ten buildings.
The ground trembled as the demon slammed into the earth, creating a massive crater.
Smoke and dust filled the air.
Saitama cracked his knuckles. "You done?"
But from the rubble…
Laughter.
Raizen rose from the destruction, completely unharmed.
"Interesting. You actually hurt me a little."
The Hashira's eyes widened.
"He's still standing after taking a direct hit from Saitama-dono?" Muichiro muttered in disbelief.
Rengoku clenched his fists. "This is the first time we've seen a demon take Saitama-dono's attack head-on and survive."
Raizen flexed his fingers, cracks forming along his skin like breaking stone.
"This body… is built differently from any demon you've faced before. Muzan designed me to adapt."
Saitama raised an eyebrow. "So what? You get punched, and you just… get stronger?"
Raizen grinned. "Exactly."
CRACK.
The markings on his body began to glow ominously, pulsating with power. His claws extended even further, and a dark aura surrounded him.
Saitama sighed. "Oh. Great. Another 'I get stronger every time I fight' type of guy."
Raizen charged again, even faster than before.
This time, Saitama lifted his hand seriously.

The Clash That Shakes the World
BOOM!!!
The moment Saitama's punch met Raizen's attack, the entire battlefield was consumed in a colossal explosion.
A shockwave blasted through the air, uprooting trees and sending nearby houses flying.
The Demon Slayers barely had time to react.
"GET BACK!" Rengoku shouted, grabbing Tanjiro and Zenitsu, pulling them away.
Even Muichiro, usually indifferent, narrowed his eyes. "This is beyond our level…"
Dust settled.
Raizen stood there, his arm cracked but still intact.
Saitama, on the other hand, just looked at his fist. "Huh. You didn't explode."
Raizen wiped blood from his mouth.
"Not bad, Baldy. Not bad at all."
Saitama sighed. "Guess I have to actually try this time."
The battle had only just begun.
