The Peerless Beauty Stuck With Me

Chapter 14: Astonishing Appetite

Tang Rao didn't go looking for Lei Li; that girl had been put through the wringer by him. Without the Qi Gathering Technique, it was impossible for her strength to recover that quickly.

Even if she exercised all year round, she would need at least until tomorrow morning.

Besides, with Lei Li's meager strength, if something really did happen, it's hard to say who would end up protecting whom.

Having watched Lei Li drive during the day, Tang Rao had pretty much learned how to do it.

Moreover, his original memories included some knowledge about driving. Practicing a little should do the trick.

Just as Tang Rao thought, driving wasn't difficult, especially with a semi-automatic transmission plus paddle shifters—it was quite easy to control.

Twenty minutes later, Tang Rao arrived at the entrance of Sui City University in his car.

The school entrance was still bustling, with all kinds of girls in various outfits—quite a feast for the eyes.

Of course, what Tang Rao didn't know was that his rate of turning heads was even higher than that of the beautiful girls. After all, he was driving a Koenigsegg Agera worth twenty or thirty million—standing next to such a flashy car, he stole the show completely.

"Mr. Tang, over here." It wasn't long before Zhou Boxiong and Yan Wei came running out.

"Holy shit, Mr. Tang, that's really flashy. Damn, that sports car is stunning, must be worth millions," Zhou Boxiong said while caressing the car, eyes twinkling with stars.

"Koenigsegg Agera, you can't even think about it without thirty million," Yan Wei said with a cold glance at Zhou Boxiong, you ignorant fool.

"Thirty million... goddamn tycoon..." Zhou Boxiong's eyes widened, his mouth twitching slightly.

His dad was already over the moon with a Volkswagen worth just over a hundred thousand, acting as if he owned the world; but thirty million...

Right at this moment, he really wanted to say: what a step towards family bankruptcy.

"Where are we eating?" Yan Wei didn't beat around the bush and directly asked Tang Rao.

"Let's head to the food street nearby. Let's go." Tang Rao, already unable to resist the aroma of meat in the air, seemed to glow green with hunger.

As soon as the three left, a figure appeared at the school entrance, his face ashen and his eyes dark.

It was none other than Cui Sifang.

"Hey, are you ready?" Cui Sifang took out his phone and dialed a number.

"Remember, do as I say." After giving his instructions, Cui Sifang put away his phone and disappeared into the crowd.

...

"Let's eat here." On the food street, Tang Rao didn't bother choosing and simply sat down at an outdoor barbecue stand.

"Boss, give us a hundred lamb skewers, half a roast lamb, and thirty lamb kidneys!" Tang Rao ordered boldly.

Truth be told, if he wasn't worried that his body couldn't handle it, Tang Rao could eat an entire cow.

But even after lowering his standards, it still gave Zhou Boxiong and Yan Wei quite a shock.

A hundred lamb skewers was one thing—they could probably manage on a full stretch—but half a roast lamb and thirty kidneys? What was he planning?

"And two dozen beers, iced," Tang Rao rattled off.

"What would you guys like?" Tang Rao looked at Zhou Boxiong and Yan Wei.

Both were flabbergasted, thinking that what he ordered just now was all for himself?

Was he planning to gorge himself to death?

"Two grilled fish, ten prawns, and another ten grilled crispy bones," Yan Wei ordered without hesitation. Since Tang Rao was paying, he'd order whatever he liked—waste wasn't on his dime.

"Uh... I'll have the same," Zhou Boxiong gestured to Yan Wei and told the boss.

"Just a moment please," the barbecue shop owner said without any fuss, hoping for more customers.

To make money, of course.

Besides, if they couldn't finish it, they likely wouldn't take the leftovers. He could just regrill it the next day—how great would that be?

"Boss, be quick, get it all done in ten minutes and I'll give you an extra two hundred," Tang Rao shouted to the owner.

The people around all looked towards Tang Rao, with a few guys clearly annoyed.

However, in the end, nothing happened, since they were all students.

Getting into a verbal fight and causing trouble by fighting wouldn't be good for anyone.

"Please wait a moment! I'll grill it myself for you!" The owner was all smiles, he had run into a big spender today.

Five minutes later, everything Tang Rao and his companions ordered arrived all at once, except for half a roast sheep.

"Help yourselves, I'm starting." Tang Rao said as he grabbed a handful of lamb skewers and stuffed them into his mouth.

That speed, let alone Zhou Boxiong and Yan Wei, had everyone around staring in shock.

There must have been at least ten skewers in that handful, and in less than half a minute, all were devoured.

After a swig of beer, Tang Rao continued to grab skewers of lamb and wolfed them down.

He ate as if he hadn't had a bite for hundreds of years.

In under three minutes, Tang Rao finished a hundred skewers all by himself, while Yan Wei and Zhou Boxiong didn't touch a thing and just watched him stupidly.

They had seen people who could eat, but never anyone who could eat like this.

A hundred lamb skewers, shreds of meat and all, must weigh at least five or six pounds, and he just swept them all away?

"Don't just watch, eat!" After polishing off the skewers, Tang Rao glanced at Yan Wei and Zhou Boxiong, then reached for the kidney skewers nearby.

Thirty skewers of kidney took Tang Rao another two minutes.

After clearing those, the half roast sheep was brought to the table.

Tang Rao didn't waste any words and began to slice meat with a knife.

Every lift of the hand and fall of the knife resulted in slices of meat landing in Tang Rao's hand before being stuffed into his mouth.

In roughly seven or eight minutes, the half roast sheep was left with nothing but bones.

The onlookers were amazed not just by Tang Rao's appetite but also by his knife skills.

Half a roast sheep, bones intact, but the meat was all gone, almost without leaving any trace.

"Awesome!" Tang Rao tilted his head back and chugged down a bottle of ice-cold beer.

That was about it, he was seven or eight parts full, the best state to be in.

"Not to your taste?" Tang Rao glanced at Zhou Boxiong and Yan Wei whose food remained untouched.

"Mr. Tang, are you... okay?" Zhou Boxiong asked.

Tang Rao's appetite was somewhat terrifyingly immense and bizarre.

No average person could possibly consume that much food.

That adds up to around twenty pounds of meat.

"What could be wrong with me... oh, wait, I do have something." Tang Rao turned his gaze towards the inside of the food street, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.

Zhou Boxiong and Yan Wei both followed Tang Rao's gaze.

Not far from their three stalls, there was another barbecue stand, where two beauties were sitting.

Jiang Langhuan and Jiang Langyue, a pair of sisters, attracting the gazes of countless men.

"Boss, the check." Tang Rao pulled out a stack of cash from his pocket, about a thousand bucks, and handed it directly to the owner, "No need for change."

The owner perked up, this was a high roller, really classy.

"Okay, then next time you come, I'll give you a 20% discount." The owner said with a smile.

After paying the bill, Tang Rao had already stood up and headed straight towards Jiang Langyue and Jiang Langhuan.

"Mr. Tang is Mr. Tang, chasing girls is the top priority." Zhou Boxiong shrugged his shoulders and asked the owner to pack up the untouched food, you can't waste, wasting is shameful.

As for Yan Wei, he ignored Zhou Boxiong and followed Tang Rao.
