Chapter 181: Question and Answer Session
Wu Changxing gritted his teeth as he looked at Tang Rao, unable to believe that Tang Rao would dare to stab him; he was sure this guy was just trying to scare him!
"First off, the first question, let's start with a simple one, what's your name?" Tang Rao slowly asked, the dagger in his hand gently swaying.
Wu Changxing was stunned for a moment. You're actually asking my name? Don't you know it already?
"Tang Rao, what the hell do you want?! Let me go! Let go of me!" Wu Changxing bellowed angrily.
Of course, Tang Rao was not going to let Wu Changxing go.
Once he decided to do something, nothing could stop him.
"Your answer is wrong," Tang Rao leaned in close to Wu Changxing's ear and uttered a few chilling words.
Then, the dagger in his hand struck abruptly.
With a "pfft," the Absorption Device-made dagger plunged straight into the root of Wu Changxing's thigh.
The Absorption Device dagger came with a built-in blood-letting effect; once stabbed, blood gushed out immediately.
"Aah!! Aaah!!!" Wu Changxing didn't feel much pain, but seeing the blood spurting wildly from his thigh drove him to the brink of madness.
He howled uninterruptedly from his throat, his body also twisting desperately.
However, Tang Rao's hand, like a giant clamp, gripped Wu Changxing's neck tightly.
"Come on, let's move on to the second question." Tang Rao pushed Wu Changxing against the wall beside them, his voice calm yet horrifying.
"Liu Shisan leaving the Special Ninth Department, was it you who harmed her?" Tang Rao asked the crucial question.
Wu Changxing gasped for breath, his eyes bulging round.
"It wasn't me, it wasn't me, it was her own fault," Wu Changxing said after drawing a few cold breaths.
"Damn it!" Liu Shisan smashed the cigarette butt in his hand to the ground fiercely, "Wu Changxing, have you no freaking shame?"
"Pop!"
Without any hesitation, Tang Rao's arm moved, and the dagger stabbed into Wu Changxing's thigh once more.
"I've said it, wrong answers and lies to me are both unacceptable," Tang Rao hummed coldly.
"How do you know I'm wrong? What if it's Liu Shisan who's been lying to you!" Wu Changxing shouted, his brain spinning a little from seeing two streams of blood spurting from his thigh.
"If she says you're wrong, you're wrong," Tang Rao uttered coldly, imperiously.
Wu Changxing: "..."
"Alright, the third question. Is the whole incident with Liu Shisan all your doing? Are you the one thwarting her at every turn? Is it all your doing?" Tang Rao continued.
Wu Changxing really wanted to say, isn't that three questions?
"Just answer it properly," Tang Rao shook the dagger in his hand.
Wu Changxing's body jerked violently.
He knew very well, if he answered 'no,' Tang Rao's dagger would undoubtedly strike again. Having been stabbed twice already, Wu Changxing felt that a few more stabs and his blood would be drained completely.
Forget it, Grandpa will arrive soon, just hang in there.
"Yes, it was me who harmed her!" Wu Changxing nodded.
"Louder!" Tang Rao nudged Wu Changxing.
"I said yes, it was all me framing Liu Shisan, I'm behind all the trouble. The scar on her face was made by me, her fiancé, it was me who had someone deal with him, it was all me, are you satisfied now!" Wu Changxing roared.
Tang Rao paused for a moment, Liu Shisan's fiancé? So it was… Wu Changxing who killed Thirteen's fiancé, no wonder she hated him so.
At this moment, upon hearing Wu Changxing's words, Liu Shisan trembled all over, struggling to light a cigarette but failing.
In the end, it was Ming Luo who took the lighter and lit it for Liu Shisan.
"Mm, very good answer," Tang Rao patted Wu Changxing's shoulder, as an encouragement.
Wu Changxing exhaled slowly, but his eyes grew even more ferocious.
Tang Rao, just you wait. When my grandpa gets here, I'll make sure you wish you were dead!
Dare to stab me with a dagger? Just wait, I'll fill your body with holes.
"Okay, let's leave it here for the questions. Next, I'm going to take you to a place." Tang Rao flashed a grin, then dragged Wu Changxing away.
Blood streamed down Wu Changxing's legs, leaving glaring streaks of blood on the ground as Tang Rao pulled him along.
Exiting the detention area, Tang Rao could hear screams with almost every step he took.
Thinking about it, dragging Wu Changxing with blood all over him was indeed frightening.
"The Limit Squad is this way, right?" Tang Rao finally stopped in front of a training room door and turned his head to look at Ming Luo.
Ming Luo nodded.
Things had come this far, and she didn't want to persuade Tang Rao anymore. She just hoped that Major General Yan would arrive quickly.
Bang!
Tang Rao kicked the door open, the nearly five-foot-thick alloy door let out a thunderous bang.
Then, at the lock, the core shattered, and the wall exploded.
Boom!
The alloy door suddenly fell to the ground.
Ming Luo, Liu Shisan, and Wu Changxing all stared dumbfounded at the shocking scene unfolding before them.
Tang Rao… did he just kick an alloy door off its hinges?
My goodness, if that kick had landed on a person, how terrifying it would be.
Wu Changxing suddenly felt a bit grateful, glad that Tang Rao had shown some mercy to him. He had already kicked him several times. If he had used the same force as he did on the door, he would have probably been kicked to death by now.
Inside the room, about fifty or sixty people, full of character.
Nearly every one of them had a palm print on their face, all courtesy of Tang Rao.
This group seemed to be discussing something, huddled together.
When they saw Tang Rao, and the Wu Changxing being dragged by him, all fifty or sixty people had their eyes widened in disbelief.
"I came here to tell you guys that, starting now, the Limit Squad is disbanded. You have two choices: First, leave the Special Ninth Department voluntarily; second, strip off all your duties and military ranks, and start from scratch," Tang Rao said indifferently.
Everyone was stunned. Tang Rao… was he really disbanding the Limit Squad?
"Do I have the authority to do that?" Tang Rao turned to Ming Luo.
Ming Luo nodded somewhat mechanically; indeed, Tang Rao had that authority.
"That's good." Tang Rao smiled, "What are you staring for? Want to end up like him?"
He pointed at Wu Changxing as he spoke.
Wu Changxing felt a surge of grief and indignation.
"Click, click, click!" However, at that moment, the sound of bullets being chambered rang out, and a fifty-person squad had encircled Tang Rao and the others, not sure when they had appeared.
Each of them held a submachine gun, fully equipped and ready for combat.
"Damn you, let go of my grandson!" Then came the sound of hurried footsteps.
A white-haired old man rushed into the encirclement, his face extremely grim.
Tang Rao glanced at the old man, who was probably around eighty but seemed in good spirits and walked with vigor. Judging by his face, he resembled Wu Changxing quite a bit.
Must be Wu Han.
"Tang Rao, let him go now!" Wu Han certainly knew Tang Rao, the so-called Chief Instructor brought in by Yan Zhengda.
Just as expected, you can't rely on someone so young; look at what he has done.
"Grandpa, save me!" Wu Changxing cried out upon seeing Wu Han, sobbing and weeping, quite a scene considering he was a man in his thirties.
