The truth is that she remembered Vali's dream from the original work as he proudly declared in front of Issei. But she couldn't say that now could she?

" Well anyway be a dear and do some errands for me will you " Roxanne said with a smile that made Vali shiver. He could tell that she was asking but ordering him to do it.

Shemhazai who held this position is currently assisting Azazel with the upcoming war so he isn't available right now.

" Right away lady Azrael " Penemue said as he took the files from Azrael. Due to most of their men being busy making preparations for the upcoming battle, they were a bit short on staff so Penemue and the others had to do some errands every once in a while.

" Did my daughter send any new information? " Azrael asked as she began to read another document. This one is for asking for more funding for the porn industry. Apparently, there was a new trend going on that the actors cosplay as characters from a few famous mangas.

" No the princess hasn't sent any new information thus far " Penemue shook her head as she answered.

She felt that question was a bit weird as those information reports usually go to Azrael directly. Although Shadow Garden is a part of Grigori that doesn't mean their organisations are completely merged.

The shadow garden doesn't listen to any of their orders unless it comes directly from Azrael or Roxanne. The opposite is also as Grigori doesn't need to follow any orders from Shadow Graden unless Roxanne orders them.

" Lady Azrael is something wrong with Princess Roxanne, " Penemue asked after a bit of hesitation.

Azrael sighed as she heard that question. "Yes my daughter is now angry with me due to the plans we made for the upcoming battle, "she said as dejectedly slumped on the chair.

" Is it because we are using the kids as bait? " Penemue asked after thinking about it.

" Yes " Azrael nodded. The only reason why Roxanne even agreed to let this stupid plan continue was because she asked her to step down. Or else Roxanne wouldn't have cared for the plan and might have executed Diodara at the first chance she got.

"Lady Azrael if you don't mind me asking why do we really need to follow the plan? With the shadow garden's spy network and alliance armies' military strength, we could crush the enemy even before they knew what hit them " Penemue asked as she looked at Azrael.

Although she hadn't met the kids yet even she didn't like using those innocent kids as bait. One wrong move and they could all be killed as they are not very powerful even if their potential was very good.

" well truthfully speaking we really don't need to go this far. But the reason we are doing this is to show off in front of the other pantheons. Even though most pantheons have shown interest in joining the alliance there are still many who are not convinced about us.

So this is why Azazel proposed this plan. If this plan succeeds, not only will we be able to show the world that we can defeat the Khaos Brigade, but we can also show how united we are during times of crisis. " Azrael said, making Penemue nod in agreement.

" But this is very risky. " Penemue added as she could see this whole operation failing due to the kids being in danger.

"Well, that's why we left the safety of the kids to my daughter. Originally Azazel said he was gonna take full responsibility but after Roxanne beat him black and blue he agreed to whatever Roxanne wanted to do. " Azrael said. Azazel almost lost his life there.

What would his words matter if any of the kids got hurt? Even Roxanne didn't say she could fully protect them as on a battlefield everything is unpredictable. So Azazel's arrogant statement nearly drove Roxanne mad.

In one of the secret rooms of Roxanne's mansion, Roxanne was carefully writing down some demonic runes in a magic circle.

If a normal person were to come into this they would seriously suspect Roxanne to be a cultist who is performing some dark ritual. Well, she is in a way.

Just as the magic circle was about to be completed the runes suddenly began to glow and in less than a second they exploded.

" Cough cough another failure huh " Roxanne said as she coughed out some black smoke.

" It's the 10th one today huh " She muttered as she swiped her hand to wipe away the dust that gathered on her testing ground. Thankfully this room is explosion proof or else the mansion would be in a huge mess.

" Well let's hope this would be the last time I would have to do this again " Roxanne mumbled as she began to construct the magic circle again.

This magic circle is very important for her future plans. If she could really make this magic circle before the battle then she would have enough confidence to protect Asia and Issei from anything.
