The Rise of the Fallen Prodigy

Chapter 41: Cyan Profound Elixir

The night fell.

The Breeze Courtyard was brightly lit. After having dinner, Liam Smith went to the backyard alone. He lay on a rattan bed, squinting his eyes and staring blankly at the stars in the sky.

"Master, what do you think is above the sky?"

"I've never been there. Who should I ask? You're asking the wrong person." Alistair gave him a sideways glance.

"I heard others say that there's another world above the sky, a place without war and darkness." Liam Smith seemed to have some fantasies about that legendary place.

"Nonsense. Where there are people, there will always be war. That's an unchanging truth since ancient times. Those rumors you heard are simply not credible."

"Master, do you think that one day we'll be able to soar into the nine heavens and roam the sky?"

"As long as you can break through that legendary realm, you should be able to achieve that wish."

"Master, have you never seen anyone from that realm either?"

Alistair gave a bitter laugh and said, "I'm still far from that realm. It's said that there hasn't been a powerful person from that realm in the Liberty Divine Land for tens of thousands of years."

"Is that so?" Liam Smith murmured softly.

A glint of barely noticeable spiritual light flashed in his eyes.

Suddenly, Liam Smith had an idea. It was as if he had thought of something, and he suddenly sat up from the rattan bed. "Not good."

"Why are you shouting?" Alistair was startled by Liam Smith's sudden outburst.

Liam Smith explained, "Master, it's good that we've moved to the Breeze Courtyard, but I'm afraid we won't be able to set up the Gathering Reiki method anymore."

Hearing what Liam Smith said, Alistair also fell silent.

In the past, when they were in the stone house, setting up the Gathering Reiki method didn't pose a problem as they didn't have to worry about being discovered. But now, Liam Smith's status in the Smith family was quietly changing, and more and more people were paying attention to him. If they set up the Gathering Reiki method now, they would definitely be found out.

"This is indeed a problem." Alistair said in a low voice.

"Well, we can just stop using the Gathering Reiki method. Cultivating with Soul crystals alone won't make the speed that much slower."

"I guess that's the only option for now." Alistair didn't have any other good solutions either.

"By the way, Master, should we go to the auction meeting in half a month?" Liam Smith remembered what Ignatius had said yesterday.

Alistair was silent for a moment and then said indifferently, "There's still half a month until the auction meeting. You can just take this time to digest the experience from this training. I can see that after this training, the realm of your third level of the Refined Gas Realm has become somewhat unstable. Try to break through to the fourth level of the Refined Gas Realm around the time of the auction meeting."

"That's exactly what I was thinking." Liam Smith smiled slightly. "Once I cultivate your Spiritual Domain Martial arts, I'll be even more powerful during training."

Alistair didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "You little guy, I knew you've always had your eyes on the Spiritual Domain Martial arts."

"Hehe, who asked you to throw out such an irresistible temptation? I couldn't help but think about it."

"Hehe, you're telling the truth."

"Master, should we also put something up for auction at this auction meeting?" Liam Smith said with some anticipation. "I heard that the auction is always crowded with wealthy warriors. The prices of things are usually twenty percent higher than usual."

"But what do you have that's worthy of being auctioned?"

Liam Smith rubbed his hands and said obsequiously, "I don't have anything, but you do, Master."

"You little guy, you're trying to take advantage of me again?" Alistair sneered.

"Master, you're wrong. I'm thinking about our future. Although we got two thousand Soul crystals from this training, after buying the Magic fruits, there are only a few hundred Soul crystals left. Our soul crystals will run out soon." Liam Smith said earnestly.

Alistair obviously wasn't convinced by Liam Smith's words and said lazily, "Just use the few hundred Soul crystals. At least it's enough for you to cultivate for a few months."

Liam Smith continued to persuade, "It would be enough for my cultivation alone. But if we fancy some treasure at that time, we won't have enough Soul crystals to bid against other warriors."

Alistair sneered, "I knew you had some ulterior motive. I didn't expect you to be waiting for me here."

Liam Smith felt a bit embarrassed and continued, "I'm doing this to improve my cultivation as soon as possible so as not to embarrass you, Master."

"Hmph, your sweet words don't work on me." Alistair said.

When Liam Smith heard this, he was a bit disheartened on the spot.

However, Alistair's next words made his spirits soar again.

"Come to think of it, what you said does make some sense."

Liam Smith said excitedly, "So, you agree, Master?"

"When have I ever let you down?" Alistair said with a sly smile.

"Master is awesome. Master..."

"Stop flattering me and get to the point." Alistair interrupted Liam Smith.

Liam Smith looked aggrieved. "I'm speaking from the bottom of my heart."

Alistair knew Liam Smith's little tricks well. When he needed something from him, he would pour out sweet words without hesitation. But when he was in a bad mood, he would forget even the most basic etiquette between master and disciple.

"All right, do you think I don't know your little tricks? Stop pretending to be pitiful in front of me."

Seeing that he couldn't pretend anymore, Liam Smith let out a long sigh. "Master, you're really not giving me any face."

"Do you want face or soul crystals?" Alistair said indifferently.

"Of course, I want Soul crystals." Liam Smith said with thick skin. "Hehe, as for face, I don't need to care about it in front of you, Master."

Alistair knew that when Liam Smith didn't care about his face, his skin was thicker than the city walls of the Silvermoon Valley.

It was quite normal for him to go back to his word.

Liam Smith looked at Alistair expectantly. "Master, are we going to sell the Soul Spirit Potion Nostrum again this time?"

"Where do I have so many Soul Spirit Potion Nostrums? I'm not a pharmacist."

"Then what treasure are you going to put up for auction, Master?"

"I can't think of anything at the moment. I've long forgotten the low-level things. I need to think carefully."

"All right, take your time. I won't disturb you."

After saying this, Liam Smith lay down again. He took out a Magic fruit from his storage bag and started eating it, enjoying every bite.

After waiting for a long time, Liam Smith had already finished one Magic fruit.

Alistair finally thought of something and said, "I've got it."

"You've thought of something, Master?" Liam Smith said joyfully. "I'll go get the pen and paper right away."

As soon as he finished speaking, Liam Smith bounced up from the rattan bed and rushed towards the study.

After preparing the inkstone, brush, and paper, Liam Smith said, "Master, you can start now."

This time, Alistair gave Liam Smith the elixir prescription of the Cyan Profound Elixir.

With the experience from last time, Liam Smith didn't care whether what Alistair said was right or wrong. He just wrote down every word Alistair said, not caring whether it was effective or not.

With the mentality that he wouldn't be held accountable if the medicine killed someone, Liam Smith wrote with great joy. He knew that every word was worth a soul crystal.

The elixir prescription wasn't complicated. It was only about a hundred words long, listing more than a dozen herbs and the quantity of each herb.

"Cyan Profound Elixir?" Liam Smith looked at the elixir prescription he had written and asked, "Master, what's the effect of this Cyan Profound Elixir?"

Alistair chuckled. "You'll know its effect when you put it up for auction."

Seeing that Alistair was playing tricks, Liam Smith smacked his lips in dissatisfaction, but he didn't take it to heart. For him, the elixir prescription wasn't important; what mattered was how many Soul crystals it was worth.

"Then how many Soul crystals can it sell for?"

"Save it for when you really fancy something good. Try not to put it up for auction if you can."

"Why?"

"I'm afraid it will bring you trouble." Alistair said each word slowly.

"Trouble?" Liam Smith was surprised. He looked at the elixir prescription in his hand and fell into deep thought. Could this Cyan Profound Elixir really be that remarkable?

"Is it really that serious?" Liam Smith's expression became serious.

Alistair smiled softly. "I'm afraid that once this elixir comes out, all the warriors in the Silvermoon Valley will go crazy for it."

Liam Smith opened his mouth wide, looking in disbelief. "Master, are you kidding me? It's just an elixir prescription. Is that an exaggeration?"

Seeing that Liam Smith didn't believe him, Alistair said angrily, "What do you know? Because of this elixir prescription, two forces suffered countless casualties and almost destroyed each other."

Liam Smith was shocked by Alistair's words again. In an instant, he felt that the elixir prescription in his hand was extremely heavy, and he quickly put it into his arms.

Now he somewhat understood what Alistair had said earlier about why he should try not to take it out.

If this elixir prescription was really that powerful, then all the warriors in the Silvermoon Valley would be looking for the person behind it. Although the auction house had the rule of protecting the privacy of the seller.

But he still had to be careful. If his identity was exposed, it would definitely be a disaster.

"Master, since this elixir prescription is so important, I think we should just forget it."

Now that the situation was improving and he had a new chance to reach the peak, Liam Smith didn't want to ruin his future for the sake of some Soul crystals. After all, cultivation was the most important thing, and soul crystals were just external possessions.

Alistair said mockingly, "What? Are you scared?"

"Why should I be scared?" Liam Smith said bravely.

"Actually, don't worry too much. With me here, even if they turn the entire Silvermoon Valley upside down, no one will be able to find you."

Liam Smith finally let out a sigh of relief and cursed secretly. He had worried about nothing. Why didn't you say it so earlier?

However, Liam Smith was still a bit worried. After all, it's better to be safe than sorry.

His tone changed. "Master, I think we should choose something else to put up for auction. We can put this Cyan Profound Elixir up for auction later when my cultivation improves."

"Do you think I'm a magic chest that has everything you want? I don't have anything else." Alistair said angrily. "This Cyan Profound Elixir is the lowest-level thing in my mind right now. The rest are all higher-level than it."

"Master, please think again. You should be able to think of something else." Liam Smith persisted.

"I said there's nothing else. If you really want something, it's the Spiritual Domain Martial arts that I'm going to teach you. If you have no objection, we can sell it, and it should be worth some Soul crystals."

"No way." Liam Smith firmly refused.

Are you kidding me? This is what I'm going to cultivate in the future.

"Then there's really nothing else. You think about it. I'm going to rest." After saying this, Alistair fell silent.

Seeing that Alistair had said so, Liam Smith guessed that he really didn't have any other stock. He didn't continue to ask.

He collected his thoughts and returned to his bedroom to sit in meditation and cultivate.

As for tomorrow's matters, he will deal with them tomorrow.
