The SSS Legendary Dragon Chose Me On Rebirth

Chapter 121: Orc genius

Not his carefree smile. He looked deeper, at his Vacuse, at his real self, and Mutua flinched.

What was that?

He felt an aura that made him tremble, and it was almost as if there was a slitted purple eye behind him that looked down at everything in a vicious, casual way.

It left Mutua reeling as he understood that the person he was trying to fight was not on the same level as him. "Wait..."

But Vacuse did not slow down at all as he was immediately in front of him. His hand reached out in a punch that slammed into Mutua's chest, snapped his bones, and crushed his heart.

"I used all my power in this punch as well!" Vacuse declared as he watched Mutua fall with a shocked look on his face, as if he could not quite believe what had happened to him.

His body hit the ground with a soft thud, and his blood started to spread.

Everyone was shocked. The fight had been going well in Mutua's favor, but then everything changed in an instant.

Only the First General did not look surprised, but his eyes continued to glow.

Vacuse stared at the body and bowed. "You were a fine warrior."

His body was dragged away, but of the six remaining, four of them were hesitating, while two stared at the pit calmly.

Vacuse had already noticed those two earlier. They were the true power of the four, and they looked as if they could punch above their rank.

Interesting.

And of the two, one of them was undeniably the strongest. He was lean, with corded muscle and a small face, but his eyes were like little hot coals.

The second was a bulky Orc with a rough and nasty face.

The two stared down at him with hungry eyes, and Vacuse was just the same.

But another Orc jumped down at him from the four, and the fighting began. It was quickly ended as Vacuse cut him down with a hand strike to the neck that brutally severed his head.

Just like that, the fight continued, but Vacuse cut them down as if they were not even worth his time, as he did not use any techniques—only the power of his hand.

Until only the two remained.

All the Orcs were deeply shocked, as if they could not believe that a single human had just killed five of the strongest in rank two as if it was not something he needed to even use his strength on.

The warriors of the First General were already people chosen because of their strength and different levels of genius, but among them, there were some who were even stronger.

That was why all the Orcs were left shaken.

Vacuse smiled, blood on his face. "Come, let's fight. The real strongest of the rank two of the First General's army."

The bulky one of the two jumped down into the pit. "You! I'll tell you my name so that it will be the last thing you hear in your life! My name is..."

Suddenly, he shifted out of the way as a needle-like black energy shot through where he was. He gritted his teeth.

"I do not want to know who you are. It is not something important. Why should I keep the name of the dead in my head? It would only take up space."

The bulky Orc gritted his teeth. Among his peers, he was considered a very strong warrior and someone who would lead the next generation. Thus, he was always treated with respect, even by those in higher ranks.

But now... a human was looking down on him so casually. He was so angry that he felt his face twist, veins appeared on his face, and red energy began to drift out of his body and cling to him.

His sword was a lean thing, and immediately upon touching it, red bloodline energy covered it, forming around it and turning into something filled with vicious killing intent, as if it was demanding blood.

He raised it and slashed.

A beam of sword energy blasted forth, setting the air humming as it crossed the distance in a blink and appeared in front of Vacuse. But he did not do anything other than raise his hand, and a chilling black energy appeared in front of him in the form of an umbrella.

Bam!

The sword energy slammed into the surface of the umbrella and slowly sank in, disappearing into its depths as easily as if it had never existed.

Vacuse had finally obtained the defensive technique that he wanted—a shield that he could use anytime he wished. But the unique thing about the shield was that instead of blocking, it absorbed.

The bulky Orc was surprised and stared at him with wide eyes.

Vacuse smiled.

The second thing about the shield was that when used, the attack it absorbed had to be released, since Vacuse could not use Void in a way to permanently erase things. Moreover, the Void was not an energy for protection, so it had a limited number of uses before the shield collapsed and could be summoned again.

"Interesting."

It was the first time Vacuse had used the Void umbrella in battle, and he could feel the absorbed attack within it.

Vacuse looked at the bulky Orc and nodded. He had seen enough, and for the first time since the battle began, he used a technique.

He raised his hand, and a rain of Void needles appeared all around him, immediately converting into spears that shot forward with intense, shocking pressure.

The Orc grimaced, raised his hand, and a projection of a sword appeared in front of him.

Immediately, the onlookers saw the sword projection, and they sucked in sharp breaths. The bulky Orc was indeed a genius to be able to do something like that.

In an instant, the blade expanded, completely blocking the Orc and radiating with intense power.

The Void spears rammed into the sword shield...

And completely shattered. One of the spears exploded, while the other two continued.
