The Strongest Frostt Loli: Trending One Piece Fanfiction Reincarnation

Chapter 132: Kuja

Several days had passed since Teach arrived at Germa.

They needed time for Sukura to consume the Ope Ope no Mi and learn how to use its power.

Teach, who had nothing to do, Barrels and Drake, and Judge and his children had been sparring to pass the time.

And now, Sukura was preparing for surgery on a patient with severe Amber Lead Syndrome.

"Are you sure about this?"

"I can't say for certain. I believe the Devil Fruit's power is strong enough to cure him, but… I'm going in blind. It can't be helped."

They couldn't know for sure until they tried.

The patient was an elderly man who had volunteered for the surgery after being informed that there was no guarantee of success. Next to Sukura was Mr Trafalgar, a doctor from Flevance.

He had provided Sukura with the medical records and was concerned that Sukura might miss something during the surgery due to his lack of experience with the disease.

Teach observed the two doctors reviewing the records and laughed.

"Zehahaha! It's a miracle we even found the Ope Ope no Mi! If this doesn't work, we're out of options!"

"What are you even doing here?" Kaie asked, annoyed.

"Ow!"

Teach, hit on the head by Kaie, was dragged away by his collar. He had a large bump on his head. He was clearly distracting them.

Sukura sighed as he watched them go, then returned his focus to the records. He and Dr. Trafalgar entered the operating room.

He was an experienced surgeon, but he couldn't shake off the tension. He knew the gravity of the situation.

"Let's begin – Room."

A dome-shaped circle, about a meter in diameter, appeared around Sukura.

Within this dome, Sukura could manipulate the human body freely. He could cut, suture, and perform any surgical procedure.

The patient was under anesthesia, but no blood flowed as Sukura made an incision.

He had practiced using his power, but seeing it in action during surgery was a strange sensation.

"I see… It's the liver."

"You can tell without even looking?" Dr Trafalgar asked.

"I'm constantly scanning the Room, analyzing the components that cause the Amber Lead Syndrome. The highest concentration is in the liver."

He wouldn't be able to find it if he didn't know what he was looking for.

Sukura swiftly moved the organs aside, exposing the liver.

"Now, the problem is this."

"…Are you really going to do that?"

"I don't want to call this medicine, but it's the only way. For now."

The liver was stained white. Sukura cut a section of the liver to examine it, then forcibly extracted the substance that caused the Amber Lead Syndrome.

It was a sight no ordinary surgeon would ever see. Medicine should be something that could be learned through study. Sukura was troubled by the thought of using a Devil Fruit ability to treat a disease.

But he couldn't afford to be philosophical. A life was at stake.

He collected the white liquid, shaped it into a sphere, placed it in a container, and sutured the liver.

There was no blood, no scar. The surgery was complete.

"…It's strange seeing organs being cut apart and then reattached."

"I know. I feel the same way," Sukura replied.

He seemed relieved that the surgery was a success. He and Dr. Trafalgar fist-bumped, smiling.

"Now all we have to do is wait and see."

***

The surgery was a success, and the elderly patient was recovering. While everyone rejoiced, Sukura was already examining another patient.

Vinsmoke Sora, Judge's wife.

"…It's too late. Even if I remove the drug with the Ope Ope no Mi, she won't live much longer."

"There must be something you can do! That Devil Fruit can cure any disease!"

"If we know the cure, yes. But this isn't a disease."

It was more like an injury than a disease. She had consumed a powerful drug that had damaged her internal organs. It wasn't caused by a virus or bacteria.

Judge clenched his fist in frustration and was about to punch Sukura when he was thrown across the room.

Sukura had been with Twilight for a long time. He knew basic self-defense.

"Violence won't solve anything… And besides, this is partly your fault."

"What?!"

"You should have known that human experimentation wouldn't end well. Did you really think your four children could inherit superhuman strength without any consequences for her?"

Sukura glared at Judge, who was grinding his teeth in anger.

Sora, sitting on the bed, looked at Sukura with a sad expression.

"…How long… do I have?"

"Ten years at most. It's a harsh truth, but you should prepare yourself."

There was precedent. Roger had defied the odds, but he was an exception.

Crocus, a skilled doctor, had monitored his condition and administered medicine throughout their journey. It was too much to expect from an ordinary person.

And Roger had had a goal – to circumnavigate the world. Sukura couldn't predict how long someone could live with the sole desire to survive.

"So… I won't be able to see my children grow up."

Sora forced a smile.

"Well, I have to enjoy the time I have left!"

Sukura's surgery would begin soon, but he was now proficient with the Ope Ope no Mi. It would be a success.

Judge opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. He stomped out of the room in anger.

"…I'm sorry. He's not good with words…" Sora said apologetically.

"Don't apologize. He's nothing compared to some of the patients I've had," Sukura replied.

He had treated patients who refused to accept their fate and had sought every possible means to survive. They had been beyond his help, but their vitality was admirable.

Sora was different, but he would do his best to extend her life.

She wouldn't have lived this long without his treatment. He hoped she would have no regrets.

"The surgery is tomorrow. Be prepared."

"I understand, Doctor. Thank you."

Sora smiled bravely, despite her fear.

Sukura left the room and noticed a blond boy running down the hallway.

***

After delivering the Ope Ope no Mi to Germa, Teach had returned to Hachinosu after a few days.

He, along with Barrels and Drake, exchanged greetings with the crew members they hadn't seen in a while, then headed towards Kanata's office.

He knocked on the door, large enough to accommodate giants, and entered without waiting for a reply.

"I'm back, Big Sis!"

He swung the door open and saw four women inside. One was Gloriosa, but he didn't recognize the other three.

He barged in and looked at the three women, who turned to face him.

"Well, well, well, look at these beauties. Who are they?!"

"Ow!"

Teach collapsed as Kanata hit him on the head.

The three women – Hancock, Sandersonia, and Marigold – hid behind Kanata, and Gloriosa sighed, shaking her head.

Barrels and Drake, who had been waiting outside, were unharmed.

"Knock and wait for a response. Do you want another lesson in manners?"

"Y-yes… I'm sorry…"

Teach rubbed the bump on his head, then sat down cross-legged.

Hancock and her sisters were still hiding behind Kanata, but they seemed to have calmed down and were peeking out cautiously.

Kanata gestured for Teach, Barrels, and Drake to sit on the sofa opposite her.

"First, let me thank you for your hard work. You've done well, recovering the Ope Ope no Mi and dealing with the Flevance royal family. I've prepared a reward. It's quite a large sum, so visit George later to collect it."

"Zehaha! You've become quite the demanding boss! Any other jobs?"

"No, you're all on vacation. But you can't just do as you please. I'm putting you in charge of Hachinosu's defenses while I'm gone."

"What? Are you going somewhere?"

"Amazon Lily."

"Amazon Lily! The island with only women?! It really exists! Zehahahaha!!"

Teach laughed boisterously. Barrels and Drake were staring at each other in disbelief after hearing the amount of their reward. It was a sum they had never seen before.

"5 billion… I could never spend that much in a lifetime," Barrels muttered.

"What are you going to do, Dad? Retire?"

"No, I left the Marines to join Twilight. I'll work until I can't move anymore…"

They seemed to be struggling to decide what to do with their newfound wealth.

Kanata told them they could discuss it later and instructed them to focus on defending Hachinosu until she returned.

"Leave it to me! I'll crush any suspicious characters!"

"Feiyun's here too. Leave it to her to decide whether they're spies or not. I'll throw you overboard if you cause any trouble."

"That's harsh!"

They didn't trust Teach's Observation Haki.

That aside.

"As I said, I'm going to Amazon Lily. We'll need to cross the Red Line, so George is coming with me. And Scotch insisted on coming as well."

"I'm coming too. It's my homeland."

"What? You're from Amazon Lily?"

They hadn't talked about their hometowns, so Kanata hadn't known. But the Kuja Pirates were known for their strength.

Gloriosa was a former emperor and a wanted criminal. Her information was readily available. Teach simply hadn't been interested.

"Are you planning to annex them?"

"Yes, it's going to be troublesome, but… strength is respected everywhere."

"Then it'll be fine. There's no woman stronger than you."

"Ow!"

Teach was hit on the head again.

***

They crossed the Red Line and entered the Calm Belt.

Amazon Lily was a rare island located within the Calm Belt. It was a breeding ground for large Sea Kings, so few ships dared to approach it. And even if they knew its location, the Marines wouldn't be able to easily attack it. The Kuja Pirates used giant sea snakes called Yuda to pull their ships, so they were safe from Sea King attacks.

Recently, warships with Seastone-coated hulls had started appearing, but they were still rare.

Twilight had also built a few ships with Seastone hulls, but they hadn't prioritized them.

Scotch, looking at the island in the distance, exclaimed, "Viva, Amazon Lily!"

"You seem excited, Scotch," Kanata remarked.

"Of course! The island of women! I've always wanted to visit!"

He was a womanizer. It was a legendary island.

The Kuja Pirates had a long history, and rumors about them were rampant. Gloriosa would be the best source of information.

"The Kuja Pirates… I've heard rumors. They're a powerful crew, aren't they?"

"Yes, the strongest warriors on the island are on board their ships. They're all Haki users."

"All of them?! That's… incredible."

Haki required talent. If the warriors on their ships were the strongest, then there must be even more Haki users on the island. It was no wonder the Marines hadn't attacked them.

Twilight probably had more Haki users overall, but they were still valuable assets. She wanted them as allies.

"Anything I should be aware of?"

"You'll be fine with the cultural differences. Strength is respected, just like on Amazon Lily."

"I see. I'd prefer to settle this peacefully."

"That's impossible. You'll have to fight and win to even have a discussion."

"I see… Anything else?"

"Yes… It's forbidden for men to enter the island. You'll be executed."

Scotch collapsed to his knees at Gloriosa's words.

***

Amazon Lily.

A wall surrounded the central area of the island, where the city was located. The rest of the island was a jungle, home to many wild animals.

Kanata left Scotch to sulk and headed towards the city with Gloriosa. They were escorted by the Kuja warriors and reached the entrance to the city walls.

It had been years since Gloriosa left the island, but some still remembered her. Her face was well-known, as she had been an emperor.

They were granted an audience with the current empress. Kanata observed as the negotiations progressed smoothly.

"…It seems this can be settled peacefully. If they're reliant on plundering, then we could offer them supplies in exchange for their labor. It seems like a mutually beneficial agreement."

Their combat strength aside, Haki users were valuable assets.

She hadn't captured them yet, but she was already thinking about how to utilize them.

They were quickly escorted to the empress's chamber. The room was surrounded by Kuja warriors, ready to apprehend them at the slightest sign of trouble.

Kanata entered the room and saw the Kuja empress sitting on her throne.

She was a beautiful woman with white hair, a rarity on this island. Her muscular physique was on full display.

"Gloriosa. Hmph, the empress two generations ago. What brings you back to this island?"

"…Two generations ago? Do the Kuja empresses change that frequently?"

"The previous empress was Shakky."

"What?!"

Even Kanata was surprised.

She had a lot of questions, but now wasn't the time. She decided to ask later and stepped forward, addressing the empress.

"Greetings, Kuja Empress. May I know your name?"

"Azami – I've seen you before. You're one of the Warlords. What do you want?"

"That saves me the trouble of introducing myself. I'm here to annex the Kuja Pirates."

The moment Kanata spoke, the room was filled with hostility. The warriors were enraged by her arrogance.

Kanata ignored them and focused on Azami, who glared back at her.

A few seconds of silence – then their Conqueror's Haki clashed.

"Whoa?!"

Gloriosa braced herself.

The air crackled, and most of the Kuja warriors collapsed. They weren't strong enough to withstand their Haki.

"…Hmph, you're as strong as the rumors say. But this is my country. Prove your strength if you want us to submit!"

Azami stood up and led them to the arena.

Kanata was excited by the prospect of a fight. She stood in the center of the arena, facing Azami.

– Their Haki-clad weapons clashed, and the shockwave reverberated across the island.

***

Kanata emerged victorious.

Strength and beauty were absolute on this island. Azami, acknowledged Kanata's strength and agreed to become her subordinate.

But Kanata was busy. She didn't intend to stay here. She simply wanted to annex the Kuja Pirates.

So, she decided to let Azami continue ruling as the empress while she focused on her other duties.

She selected a few of the strongest warriors and took them as her direct subordinates. She would personally train them. This was the first step in creating a new unit called the "Valkyries" to counter Linlin and Kaido's growing forces.

Kanata, having completed her tasks, entrusted Hancock and her sisters to Azami's care and left the island.
