As soon as he opened his eyes, the overwhelming aura surrounding him, stretching for hundreds of meters, began to slowly recede back into him under his control.

The moment Damian returned to life, his connection to all his powers, abilities, talents, and energies was instantly restored.

He could feel it, every ability he possessed had become significantly stronger than before.

As the entire aura surrounding the area fully returned to Damian's newly evolved Progenitor body, he released a small sigh.

"Hmm... I've become the Progenitor of Vampires, huh?" Damian muttered, opening and closing his fists as a new stream of foreign information rapidly surged into his mind.

Even from hundreds of kilometers away, he could see the shock and astonishment written all over their faces.

"I guess even the gods don't know how I became the progenitor of another race..." Damian shifted his gaze toward the tens of thousands of noble vampires from various clans, all standing at a distance, watching the newly risen Vampire Progenitor with complete expressions of obedience and submission.

Even the five strongest vampires to ever exist, the Five Vampire Countesses, were on their hands and knees, struggling to contain the fear they felt in his presence.

"I guess I should deal with them first before I think about my next step," Damian thought, and in the next instant, his figure vanished, leaving behind only a speck of reddish aura, and reappeared directly in front of the five Vampire Countesses.

Damian silently observed the noble vampires before him, including the five Countesses.

Every single one of them was down on all fours, displaying their submission and fealty to the Vampire Progenitor, not even able to muster the will to raise their heads and meet his eyes.

It seemed to be an inherent effect that all progenitors have on their respective races, causing members of the race to become completely submissive.

Just like the tens of thousands of noble vampires in front of Damian, kneeling silently with fearful expressions.

This was all thanks to the new Unique Racial Ability he had developed: [Night King's Aura], a passive ability that makes every type of creature of the night instinctively submissive to him.

Be it vampires, werewolves, or any other creatures of the night, they would instinctively feel the overwhelming dominance of the Night King.

As the human progenitor, Damian was granted the ability called [Humanity's Weapon], which increases his soul strength and physical abilities passively the more the population and strength of the [High Human] and [Superior Human], those carrying his influence, grow.

As the vampire progenitor, he was granted similar abilities that immensely increased his power as the vampire species grew stronger and more numerous.

The need to procreate was something written into the very existence of progenitors by design.

They are required to procreate with the most suitable females of their species, or even any species of any race out there.

Several factors can affect the intensity of this need.

One such factor influencing the intensity of a progenitor's need to procreate is the population of their species of their race.

The less populated and weaker their race is, the greater the need to procreate becomes.

Another factor influencing this need is the karma of the universe.

As previously established, the karma of the universe is greatly affected by its denizens.

Since progenitors are directly responsible for maintaining a part of creation, any reduction in the universe's karma will be reflected through them.

The universe will compel the progenitors to procreate more.

When more beings are born from this procreation, the karma of the universe also increases.

Right now, both of these factors are severely affecting Damian's need to procreate.

Both the vampire and human races are on the path to extinction, which means, even without the influence of universal karma, his need to procreate is already extremely high.

As the Progenitor of Humans, it was already very hard for him to control his intense desire to have children with the female [High Humans] he had created, especially with women like Maria and Shiru, who were highly talented and most welcoming to his progenitor instincts.

And now, after becoming the Progenitor of Vampires, the need to procreate had grown far too strong.

He felt like he would explode.

He didn't want to procreate with every woman he laid eyes on or be forced into making babies.

But all of that started to change when he became the Progenitor of Humans.

He had already traveled far from the life of a mortal. He no longer thought like the pure-hearted Christian boy he once was.

And now, just after becoming the Progenitor of Vampires, he was beginning to feel like his former human life was something prehistoric, something that happened before the calendar was even created.

Something that no longer impacted or influenced his future or his present.

Damian closed his blood-red vampiric eyes as he tried his best to control his emotions.

The violent aura spreading around him slowly began to retreat into his body.

It took a full minute before he was able to do so.

Then, he opened his eyes and looked down at the tens of thousands of noble vampires, all on their knees, unable to move or lift their heads due to the pressure released by the newly ascended Vampire Progenitor.

Damian controlled the passive ability [Night King's Aura], which he developed upon becoming the Vampire Progenitor, allowing the vampires to be at ease.

But even then, they didn't have the courage to move or look up, not even the countesses.

"Raise your heads," Damian said. His words were directed at the five most beautiful vampires in the world of [Nightingale].

The five countesses hesitantly raised their heads simultaneously, looking upon the most charming face they had ever seen in their lives.

As females of a race that naturally possessed the instinct to seek the most suitable partner for procreation, who could be more perfect for them than a progenitor?

The most powerful, most talented, and most beautiful being of their kind.

Naturally, the five vampire countesses could never find a more suitable partner than their progenitor.

This instinct was further influenced by the blessings of the concepts of love and beauty Damian had received from the Vanir goddess Freya and the Egyptian goddess Hathor.

Damian felt his need to procreate rising again, just from looking at their very desirable faces.

"Do you know who I am?" Damian asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Y-Yes…" the countesses replied hesitantly.

"Do you know what I am?" Damian looked into their eyes, as if peering into their very souls.

"Y... Yes," the countesses replied.

They knew who he was.

There was no need for words, they could feel it in their blood.

They instinctively knew and understood what he was.

"…Say it," Damian commanded.

"You…" the strongest countess, Lillian Brenlith, slowly said, as though the words were heavy in her mouth.

"You are… one of the N-Night Kings… The…" Lillian Brenlith stuttered, gulping before finally speaking the words:

"The Great Progenitor of Vampires."
