The Triplet Alphas and their contract Luna

Chapter 5: Feral Man

Eros wanted to laugh at the audacity of Humans. They were far too naive to call themselves the most intelligent beings in existence. Well, they still didn't know about his kind. So, it was understandable that they thought of themselves as the most powerful. If only his ancestors had taken over the humans when they had the chance today's reality would have been completely different. Alas, they blundered back then in the name of peace and let the pesky ones live, and those same pesky ones were now trying to cross the limits.

"Is it a human woman this time?" Eros asked in amusement, "They never learn, do they?"

The club's manager asked, "Should we send her out, Alpha?"

Eros shook his head as a cruel smile graced his lips, "Let her be; it has been so long since I bedded a human girl." He slicked back his raven black hair and gazed at a small figure sauntering inside his club like she owned the place.

This was not the first time humans had come to their club. They were persistent in that regard, and the most memorable had been a man who thought his stupid money could buy him anything he wanted. Though he quickly learned his place after getting to know about them, it still bugged him that a human dared to set foot here in the first place.

While Eros made his way towards her, Elia settled down to get a drink, "Excuse me?" She called the waiter, hoping to get something, but the latter completely ignored her.

Elia was left puzzled. She tried to call again, "Hello?" But the waiter continued to ignore her. Suddenly she felt awkward. Her suppressed insecurity crept in. Was she really a good-for-nothing that doesn't have any Presence? Just like her stepmother and her stepsister always said. Or was it true about Jake calling her an ugly girl who didn't deserve anything good?

"Give her what she wants" Elia's plummeting thoughts came to a halt when she heard a deep baritone voice behind her. The waiter looked surprised by the sudden presence just like Elia. He looked nervous and hesitant; meanwhile, the stranger seemed at ease. The caramel-haired man sat beside Elia and eased his arm across her shoulder pulling her closer towards him.

"Hi, beautiful. I'm Edgar, you can call me Eddy," said the handsome stranger, giving her a teasing smile that made Elia cringe inside. She wanted to pull herself back but he seemed reluctant to let go.

"If you could please..." Elia felt uncomfortable and tried to push his hand away but to no avail. The man stubbornly leaned against her, crushing himself onto her body. It was disgusting.

"Let go!" She shouted, having had enough, but he remained unshaken. It seemed like he got off the more she struggled. She could see it through his disgusting gaze that was raking her body like she was some sex object. She realized that men remained same be it in high society or in a club.

"What's wrong, sweetie? Isn't this why you are here? In a nightclub? Come on now, don't act so coy with me. Let us enjoy ourselves" He was saying those words like he meant it. His gaze looked down on her like she was beneath him. And his strength was like no other. It felt like he could crush her if he made up his mind.

This sent Elia's mind haywire, "Someone help. Please....." Her pleading gaze first landed on the indifferent waiter, and just like before, the latter ignored her as though she was invisible. Elia felt a cold shudder run through her spine. She had been naive thinking anyone would help her. When she roamed her gaze around her, she saw weak men who were too scared to save a woman in need. Was there talk about being a protector and provider only during arguments and debates? It seemed like that. And women...even they looked adamant about not intervening. More than that, she recognized the meaning behind their gaze. It was as though they were envious of the attention she was receiving from this creep.

Elia had enough. Today had already been long and exhausting one for her, she was not ready to spoil it further.

"Get your hands off of me, you creep!" She shouted and pushed the man away with all her might. The stranger seemed taken aback by the sudden action. His bewilderment though didn't last long because anger replaced it. Elia's brave front came down crumbling when she saw him take a threatning step towards her.

"You dare push me? You, a puny human?"He spat out scorn filled words. Elia was too much in shock to the register his odd wording and instead focused on planning her escape from this god awful club. She was done with finding herself and getting over her breakup. Her relationship with Jake was not worth getting into this trouble in the first place. with those thoughts in mind, she turned around trying to walk away but immediately regreted it. For she saw something even more chilling and bizzare in front of her.

The entire club ensued in chaos and people started to whisper among themselves but Elia on the other hand zoned out. What the hell was she seeing? She started to question her sight. A few distance away from her stood a man with big build. His black hair was messy on his head like he had been doing hard labour and his eyes...they looked like embers burning in them and had a feral glint that made her flinch as he gazed deeply at her. But these were not the things that shocked her, No! It was the fact that the man had literal claws protruding from his fingers.

"You will die today, human" Her daze broke when she felt a hand on her shoulders. She briefly recognized his voice, he was the same creep that had been bothering her but before she could react, Elia heard a earthshattering growl that made her almost deaf.

In next moment she saw a breeze passing through her and felt the creep's hand wrenched away from her. She shockingly gazed as the creep got thrown across the room. Then she saw the feral man from before launching punches on the creep's face. The latter's face got covered in crimson blood and he looked helpless as well defenseless against the raging man.

The only thing she heard other than the bone crunching punches were the words that came out of the feral man's mouth. He kept on repeating the words that didn't make any sense.

"You dare touch my mate!? You dare!" He said while continuing to break the man below him.
