The Villain Knows the End

Chapter 176: Ch-173 the death of God of wine

Back to brown planet

As raghav was going though the paperwork in the office as secretary ah zing come in the office by running as she was panting "huff huff huff" as I gave a her glass of water then she calm down a Little as I asked "what happened aunty zing"

As she said "master this is bad really bad "

As I look at her and asked again "what happened aunty zing"

As she said"the legendary wine god is dead three day later is his funeral and we don't know what are we going to do now as his wine is one of the kind"

Raghav's mind raced. The death of the Legendary Wine God wasn't just the loss of a man — it was the collapse of an era. His wine wasn't just a drink; it was a symbol of power, prestige, and mystique. Kingdoms had risen and fallen over the right to a single bottle of his creation.

I set the glass down with a sharp clink. "How did he die?" My voice came out colder than I intended.

Ah Zing's expression darkened. "No one knows for sure. He was found lifeless in his private cellar three days ago. No signs of struggle… just… gone."

I narrowed my eyes. "Poison?"

She hesitated. "The healers said no traces of toxins were found in his body. But…" Her voice lowered to a whisper. "Some are saying it was… the Curse of the Forgotten Vintage."

I stiffened. The Curse of the Forgotten Vintage. A whispered legend passed down through generations — a tale of a forbidden wine, said to be brewed from the tears of gods and the blood of demons. Whoever drank it would gain unmatched power — but at the cost of their soul.

"You think the Wine God drank it?"

Ah Zing's gaze flickered with hesitation. "There are rumors… that he had been searching for the Forgotten Vintage for years. And now…"

The air in the room seemed to grow heavier. I walked toward the tall windows overlooking the city below. The vineyards stretched out beyond the horizon — golden fields under the afternoon sun, a legacy that now stood on the brink of ruin.

"If the Curse of the Forgotten Vintage is involved…" I said slowly, "then someone else might be after it too."

Ah Zing's eyes widened. "You think someone killed him for it?"

I turned, my gaze cold and sharp. "If the Wine God really drank from the Forgotten Vintage… it means the bottle still exists. And if it does… whoever possesses it now holds the power to control the world's fate."

Ah Zing's breath hitched. "Then… what should we do?"

I took a deep breath, my expression hardening. "We go to the funeral. We find out who was closest to him in his final days — and we uncover the truth behind his death."

"And if the Forgotten Vintage really exists?"

I smiled faintly. "Then we make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands."
