The Werewolf King's Bride

Chapter 478: Betrayal

(From Blue's Perspective)

He broke free from the kiss and started kissing my breasts. He ran his finger over my hardened nipple while his mouth captured the other one. I had completely forgotten one fact.

I had started lactating.

He knew it. Did he forget it too?

When he got up and licked the remaining milk on his lips, I felt too self-conscious.

"It doesn't taste bad," he said.

"Not for you," I said, slapping him on the shoulder. He winched a bit. I immediately regretted it. "Oh, I'm sorry. Does it hurt so…?"

"No, it doesn't," he said and kissed me again.

His hand traced my inner thigh, between my legs. My hips rose the moment his warm fingers touched the sensitive part between my legs.

"Ah…"

He breathed out on my face and kissed my forehead. He watched my face, while his fingers slowly made their way in and came out again, only to do the same thing over and over. I tried to maintain my expressions for a while, fighting the urge to close my eyes and moan in the pleasure. After a while, I gave up. So, what if I looked weird? He was the reason anyway.

"I missed you," he whispered into my ear. "I am glad you are here. Trust me, I have never been happier."

I felt something hard poking against the entrance between my legs. I drew a sharp breath. I missed him just the same. At least, he was alive. Despite everything, he was here. I was in his arms.

That was enough.

He pushed his hips forward and almost immediately, I felt myself being stuffed. The feeling was overwhelming. He slowly almost brought it out, then pushed it back. He took his pace after a few slow moves, until it turned to merciless pounding. I could not control my moans.

"Ahh! Please… Ah! Dem! Hnn… Ahh!"

"Darling, I don't mind you being loud, but I don't think you would like it if all the knights near our tent hear us," he said in a murmur. I could trace the playfulness in his voice.

I flushed red. If they were near, they had already heard it. I had completely forgotten that we were actually in a tent.

But for some reason, I did not care about it as much as I thought I would. I just wanted to be near him.

While his hips moved, he touched my stomach gently. His hand trembled slightly. I clasped his hand and brought it between us. I would not let him be afraid of anything. If he had a burden on his shoulder, I would share it, just like he always shared mine.

"Uh…," I groaned as he sink his teeth into the flesh of my shoulder. It was a pain that I had known for a long time. It did not hurt as much as it first had when he marked me. Now, it only added to the pleasure.

Dem could not go on for as long as he usually did. But it was enough. How many times did a woman even need to climax? Twice was enough. For some, it was more than enough.

But I could see how frustrated Dem was. He put his robe on and insisted on carrying me to the bed. He was angry at himself for how he could be so careless as to do it on the ground when I was pregnant and had back pain.

"I don't know. With my eye, I seemed to have lost my mind too," he said. "Have you seen another dimwit?"

"Dem…"

"I really should have brought you to the bed earlier."

"Dem, listen to me."

"What?"

"Why aren't you asking anything?" I asked. "Why aren't you getting mad? Why aren't you bothered about how I came here?"

He sighed and placed his head on my chest. "I wanted to believe it's a dream…"

"It is not," I said. "It's real."

"So it seems…," he muttered. He sounded… tired. "You know, I moved left and stopped the arrow from stabbing my side. At least, that was what I thought. Another arrow hit my eye. It happened too fast.

I did not have time to blink when one more hit my shoulder. Trust me, I have never felt more helpless. It was humiliating to be that weak."

"Anyone can be weak someday, Dem," I said.

"No, you don't understand. That day… It was not normal. I just… was not myself. I felt dizzy the whole time, sometimes my vision blurred."

"… What did you eat before leaving?"

"Just… cold meat and bread," he said. "No, nothing happened when I ate. Something happened… later. When I first started to feel strange was when we almost reached the battlefield. Someone said they suddenly could smell lavender. And then, it happened.

I thought I was just being weird. Just a few days ago, I hallucinated you, so I could not even believe my own senses. Even now, I thought… I was dreaming."

It was clear my father wanted to get rid of Dem through this war. The last time Cyan came, he said the same thing. He left quite a long time ago and did not return.

'Wait! Was he the one who betrayed us?'

"But now that I have regained my sense, why are you here? How are you here?" he asked, sitting up straight.

He could surely see the horror that spread over my face. I did not suspect Cyan because he helped me escape. What if he helped me escape only to know more about Dem's plans? What if…? There were countless possibilities, but they all started with Cyan betraying me, us.

I did not know how I brought myself to, but I told Dem all about what happened, how we left behind the people and how Calix blew up the whole mansion. Dem looked unfazed. His jaw was clenched as he stared at me. I feared he was planning to break someone's skull.

"And we had to leave behind all of them… Doctor Dimitri, Evan…"

"Blue," he said sharply, his voice dangerously calm, "tell me more about your suspicious, tell me about you brother. If he is the one who caused this, even if I have to pull him from hell, I would."

I knew he would. I told him everything, until there was nothing, not one secret between us. I knew something was going to happen now, something really bad.
