Chapter 444: What Do You Want?
"Okay, we will be there within the next five minutes, once i have a perfect lock I will transport the vessel."
"This is a trip," Dina took her seat, tapping her cheek slightly to check if she was dreaming somehow.

At the edge of another sector, under the light of a gravitationally locked twin star, Jun stood on the steps of her batteres ship, staring at the afternoon skies with a wrench in her hand and a toolkit before her with all its contents spilled out.
"To think you would go as far as trying to fix the ship to avoid them," Buched chuckled in her head. "Are you that afraid of them?"
"No, Master, you may have watched from the shadows, but you do not personally know him the same way I do, once he figures out where you are, Sol will likely come seeking your head."
"Even though I save and kept you alive all this time, preparing for this day?"
"I know how he thinks, he will see you as a threat and seek your life to prevent you from interfering." She replied coldly.
"Even after knowing that my death would lead to yours?"
"You are making a man who buried his past dig up skeletons he thought had turned to dust, I know you are powerful, Master, unbelievably so, but are you strong enough to deal with the Golden Godslayer that even the Emperor is wary of?" She turned to the source of his voicem finding nothing but the wind. "Is your life so boring that you would provoke a wandering apocalypse?"
"I cannot be killed by the likes of some Godslayer, I find your impudent behaviour atrocious enough without the unnecessary Lambaste, do your job, I did not go through all of this to see my plans ruined, and if you dare retort such words to me again..."
Jun's nose began bleeding, her eyes became bloodshot and her body stiffened."
"You will cease to be in the most violent, painful way imaginable, putting your previous demise to shame, or I may just erase your sense of self and make you a willing pawn, am I understood?" He asked, releasing and cleaning her wounds in a matter of seconds when Sol's ship came into view.
"... Understood."
"She truly did crashland, my scans show a large fissure on the underside of her ship, she is lucky to have made it here before it exploded in the outer because the readings of her power show that she would not survive, while she is significantly stronger than she would have been on Atla, this is not even the power of a Demigod by our standards." Alpha gestured while they circled Jun several times before descending close to the downed ship.
"Love," Ikaris released his hand. "Do you need a moment?"
"No," He stood. "The sooner we get to the bottom of this the sooner we can leave and be on track again.
"Very well," Alpha stood as well, walking towards the middle of the hull and gesturing to a circular door beneath her feet. "Let us be on our way."
"H-he's here," Jun whispered, revealing her nerves in a state not much better than Sol's.
This was to be expected, the last time she saw him she was on her stomach, impaled by the sword of the demon king through her back, the last thing she remembered seeing was her fiance tearing stone apart with his teeth to try and save her.
Her delusions were a blankspot that she had no idea about and Buche never allowed her to remember that part either, no last words, she only remembered pain and then resurrection.
"Sol..."
She was expecting to see him first, but what she saw was a woman with glowing pink hair walking boldly from the lowered platform, and at her side a small well endowed woman dressed as a maidservant.
And then a woman she could only assume was Ikaris, though she heard that the goddess had eyes of blue, these eyes were crimson, and then as the fog cleared, Sol emerged, void of the scars she remembered, and like the other two women he was dressed in light armour with his eyes golden and his presence locked in regality.
Even if he wasn't trying to seem that way, that is what her first impression of him felt like, especially with her perceptiveness as a mage.
"Jun." Dina approached her boldly, despite the warning signals going off in her head. "The real Jun," She narrowed her eyes and then looked over her shoulder at Ikaris and Sol. "She is harmless."
"Did you truly expect her to attack?" Ikaris asked.
"Well," Dina sighed, suppressing her mana and looking at the woman again. "Yes, I did."
"I would never-"
"How are you here?" Sol asked from the back, walking with Ikaris and stopping a few feet away from Jun with his eyes partially narrowed. "How are you alive? I watched you die."
"I know -I did," She gestured to herself smiling sadly. "Do I not even get a welcoming hug, did you not wish to see me again?" She asked, taking a step towards Sol with a half-smile. "I mean you no harm."
Pass Dina and Alpha, and almost entirely ignoring Ikaris's presence, the mage reached her hand to touch Sol, but a barrier mere inches from his body stopped her hands, not harming her, but not allowing her to advance any closer than she already was.
"How is this even possible?" Ikaris asked, taking Jun's hand and raising it, examining the mana in her body closely. "How could you be here?"
"No thanks to you." She dragged her hand away, watching Ikaris's eyes return from crimson to blue again, and then flicker several times after she flinched. "If you really are that Goddess then one of this would have happened if not for you-"
"Watch your mouth." Sol interrupted her, keeping himself still as he glared. "You are speaking to my wife, I won't allow you to disrespect her in my presence."
"Your wife?" Jun recoiled in surprise. "She had been told that Ikaris submitted herself to Sol as his Slave after he killed the Demonic-Deity, not that he had married her. "You married the same one that abandoned..."
"What do you want?" Sol asked. "Where is the one you called master?" He quizzed and then stood there patiently waiting for her response.
"Do I get no greeting at all?" Jun asked, shocked, she knew he would react strongly, but even Umbra in all his coldness had been warmer than this, even Ikaris and Dina seemed taken aback by how he was acting, this was not Sol, not the Sol they knew, this was the Godslayer Absent of Sol's warmth. "You-"
"Alpha, find the closest civilization, we'll drop her off and keep going." He turned to the System and watched her vanish to execute his order.
"Master," Dina stood before him when he turned his back and stepped off. "Stop."
"At least... smile at me," Jun rubbed her eyes. "I died, I died loving you, and those feelings never diminished, even while I was under the employ of my resurrector... the least you can do is smile at-"
"No," Sol kept his gaze on Dina. "You're Jun, you're the same jun that I knew, but you are no longer my Jun, I buried her, I mourned her, and eventually I moved on, I am where I need to be today, you're real, perfectly real, the most accurate fabrication I have ever seen." He turned to her revealing his broken expression.
"Don't love me, you'll waste it, thinking of being by my side again is also a waste, that will never happen, I came here for Buche, to find out if he is an ally or an enemy, that was my only reason for coming here."
"Sol!" Ikaris grabbed his hand when he began striding, pushing Dina to the side. "You can't just leave her like that."
"I have already given it thought, she is a complication meant to distract and possibly upend my nerves, but all this has done is make me want to kill the bastard who desecrated her memory by reviving a false Jun, do you understand what I'm saying?" Sol asked.
"I do, but she is not false-"
"She is."
"As real as she is, she is also a fake and seeing her has only made me want to kill something."
"I want to know if this so-called omnipresent being, Buche, is an ally or an enemy, that's what dictates whether I beat him within an inch of his life or kill him for putting me in such a foul mood."
"What an interesting reaction, I had expected you to be as unnerved as Umbra was, but it seems to have made you determined to see to my demise." Buche spoke through Jun causing Sol to turn around with his eyes blazing gold and his teeth grit in agitation.
"Buche."
"Indeed, it is I," he answered. "I must warn you that killing me would also kill this ex-fiance that you have so bitterly rejected, I merely wanted to converse with the Golden Godslayer, to meet you-"
"You could have done that without dragging her into this you asshole, all you're doing is making me crave your blood!" Sol snapped towards the woman, grabbing her by her collar and raising her off the ground. "What do you want from me?"
