The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

Chapter 265: The rules of Blossom courts

The fan concert lasted three more hours and came to an end successfully, despite the continued PR battle online which would keep going all night. The number one trending topic online was Zhang Bo fan concert. The second was Chan Ki's angelic voice and the third was piano lady.

The piano lady was Alix and she couldn't stop looking at the pictures of herself in the car on the way home. Those pictures which she found nice, she saved to her gallery. And the ones which had been expertly airbrushed, she posted on her social media pages. Her weibo for one was very active with majority of her students congratulating her.

She came across a picture where Zhang Bo gave her a partial side hug as he thanked her and the other instrument players. It brought a smile to her face.

"Hubby, look, I shared a stage with my idol. Can you believe it? I never thought that I would ever share a stage of any kind with him." She showed the image to Caishen.

Not waiting to hear his response, she saved that image and also used it as wallpaper, to her husband's greatest irritation. He was peeking unabashedly, watching her actions with interest. He couldn't understand why she was excited over sharing a stage with Bo when she had eaten at the same table with him.

"Hmph."

Alix didn't hear that hmph as she was busy sending the image to her friends and bragging about being up and close with their favorite actor.

Once again, Caishen repeated his hmph, louder this time round. But when she didn't react, he moved his body closer to her eyes, and said loudly, "I said, hmph."

The phone slipped from Alix's hands a she was startled. She turned her head to her left slightly and said in a slightly horrified voice, "Caishen, you scared me."

"That's because you have been admiring my brother a little too much."

She picked up her phone and shook her head. "There is a difference between Zhang Bo the actor and Zhang Bo your brother. I am a fan of the actor but I am sensible enough not to drool over your brother."

"That makes no sense." he mumbled.

Whether it was the actor or the man himself, they were one and the same.

"It does. In his last movie, he acted as the righteous policeman Zhi Yongwei. His character was so pitiful and relatable that when he turned into the villain, I was in full support of his choice. Your brother is such a great actor that he evoked my emotions and made me cry. I respect his talent as an actor, it's admirable. That's all, nothing else."

"Hmph." Caishen responded.

Alix rolled her eyes. It couldn't be helped, she was a fan and he was a hater.

He touched her cheek and she turned to face him. In a candid tone he said, "You were great out there tonight. You should be celebrating your talent and not his. Mom is raving about you, she says that she is getting requests for collaborations and questions about you."

"I haven't got anything." She looked at her phone. No calls or texts from anybody that was suddenly interested in her work.

She thought about checking her direct messages but a hand stopped her, Caishen's hand.

"You need to relax and take a break from everything. You have been up and down this entire week, take some time to unwind."

She took a long breath and sighed. Then, she leaned back against him and closed her eyes. It had been a busier week for her than usual, albeit an exciting one and a good one.

A minute passed by and they arrived at Blossom courts. When they alighted from the car, Alix spontaneously decided that she wanted to take a walk around. There were not many activities that they could both engage in during the winter season.

"Hubby, do you want to take a walk with me?"

He looked at the falling snow and then looked at her. "Now?"

She nodded. "Mmm," She opened her bag and brought out an umbrella. "I have an umbrella and the road looks pretty smooth. There is a small cafe inside the courts which I have never been to, we can pass by, unless you are exhausted then we should just go home."

He took a long pause and looked at the road ahead. It was true that they had never taken a walk together, not since they got married. They had also not communicated a lot this week. He had been busy and so had she.

Walking under the snow could be considered romantic under the right circumstances.

"Let's do it."

She smiled and covered both of them under the umbrella and slowly they started to walk. She took small steps while his wheelchair moved at it's slowest speed.

Knowingly, the bodyguards kept a distance and followed them slowly.

"Hold on." Caishen told her.

He turned his wheelchair around and looked at Mo Sen. "Flowers."

Mo Sen dashed back to the car while Caishen turned back to Alix. "I got you some sunflowers to congratulate you on your first big performance."

Mo Sen was quick and he brought the flowers which he handed to Caishen who handed them off to Alix who had a dreamy smile on her face.

As he did, he said, "They say that these flowers are a symbol of good fortune and longevity. I hope that you will have good fortune on your chosen career path, that it will be as smooth as silk and your songs will live long to be remembered by generations."

Alix was so touched that she raised the flowers to her face and hid her face behind them. This man was very good at sweet talking.

One lone tear slipped out of her left eye and she wiped it away quickly before lowering the flowers. When she saw him already holding a tissue, she laughed softly.

"Thank you." she handed him the flowers briefly because she was holding the umbrella in one hand and accepted the tissue that she used to dab at the corners of her eyes. Then she rolled it and tossed it on the ground.

"Wait..." he said hastily. He tried to stop her from dumping carelessly but it was too late, the tissue landed somewhere in the snow.

"Ooops." she twisted her lips and looked around with guilty eyes.

"We have talked about this once before." he reminded her in a helpless voice.

"It was a mistake." she replied.

He sighed and said, "Let's keep walking while I give you a very annoying lecture on the rules of Blossom courts before you get both of us fined or thrown out for flaunting their rules."

Alix groaned and felt pity for herself. This was not the conversation she had in mind for their walk.

"Do you know that in Blossom courts just like in some countries you can be fined up to one thousand five hundred dollars for littering?"

She moaned swallowed the discontent in her throat because this would be their second fine, thanks to her.

I should have just put that tissue in my jacket, she thought.
