Chapter 476 Naughty Child Observation Notebook 1.0
Qiming Orphanage.
Third floor, the director's office.
In some ways, the director's office was the safest place in the entire orphanage because it was protected by a special magnetic field; even SOA-09 could not view the inside via unconventional methods.
Thus, to know what was happening inside the office, one could only use the normal method—open the door, enter the room, and look with one's eyes.
After entering the office, the female social worker first stood at the door and cautiously took a good look around.
The office wasn't large; one could see everything from the doorway. There was also a small partition in the corner that appeared to be a restroom.
The restroom door was closed.
Seeing this, the social worker tiptoed cautiously over, then slowly reached out her hand and pressed down on the restroom doorknob.
The next instant, she pushed it open forcefully.
The restroom was empty, and there was nobody inside.
Only after confirming that the director was indeed not in the office did the social worker completely relax.
She took out a sticky note from her pocket, glanced at the information on it, then walked over to the bookshelf in the office to start looking for her target.
Apart from folders and notebooks, the bookshelf was lined with various types of books.
The social worker randomly pulled out a notebook and flipped through it.
"Naughty Child Observation Notebook 1.0".
[I've been at Qiming Orphanage for some time now, and I feel that I should record the changes in my understanding.]
[Perhaps it will be of use to someone in the future.]
[Yueshu:]
[Yueshu is probably the best-behaved child in the orphanage. Although he's the SOA-09 in charge of Qiming Orphanage, as long as you don't deliberately provoke him, you're basically safe from any threats or harm.]
[Unfortunately, simply entering Qiming Orphanage is a provocative act in itself.]
[From this, it is clear that one cannot avoid this rule.]
[In red] So if you get the chance, it's better to just kill him outright!
[Direct confrontation is not advisable, as there's currently no power within Qiming Orphanage capable of opposing him, hence he must be confined here as much as possible.]
[In red] Blindly running away will only make his power grow stronger!
[Don't be reckless; now that Qiming Orphanage is confined within Subspace, I have more time to explore the rules of his power, and perhaps one day I might find a chance to leave this place.]
[In red] Haha, by that day, you'll probably be dead.
[That's the fate an SOA Investigator should expect.]
...
[Lina:]
[Lina is Yueshu's twin sister, seemingly a well-behaved, sensible child who is well-read and reasonable. But that's just a facade.]
[According to reports, Yueshu destroyed his original family for his sister's sake, and he becomes unruly only when confronted by her. This indicates that she likely possesses some ability to dazzle the mind and alter perceptions.]
[However, as SOA-09 himself, Yueshu shouldn't be so easily affected by his associated Rule Objects.]
[There might be other things I haven't discovered yet.]
[In red] Therefore, I recommend killing them both, aaaaah!!!
[In red] There are so many things you haven't discovered. That girl doesn't have such a strong ability; she simply knows Hypnosis, you idiot!]
[Indeed, it seems like some kind of hypnosis ability. I charged in rashly when I lost control of my thoughts and, tsk, surely provoked Yueshu. It looks like I'll have to stay in the office for a while.]
[This might not be good if it continues.]
[In red] Hahahahahaha, get out of here and enjoy yourself!
...
[Emily:]
[Emily is a very timid and cowardly girl, and she also likes to steal, often hiding in some corner to spy on you.]
[However, compared to the other troublesome children, she's obviously much easier to deal with, even though her ability is a nuisance, making me often get lost in my own office. Evidently, this is more of a perception-changing ability.]
[Also, Emily has a doll named Elizabeth. As long as you take away her doll, she loses her ability. From this, one can surmise that she doesn't have any special abilities herself, apart from mysteriously running into corners.]
[In red] Just take her doll, and you'll end up with a little crybaby!
[What a cruel pleasure.]
[But it's kind of interesting.]
...
[Lily:]
[Ah, such a headache.]
[Lily's personality is far too explosive. I can be harassed dozens of times in a single day, oh my, she's banging on the door outside again.]
[From this, it can be seen... so annoying.]
[In red] Okay, she's already been killed.]
[In red] With unruly children like these, just hit them directly, as there's no reasoning with these creatures. Thinking she's a little princess just because she has a servant, huh? Die, all of you!]
[In red] Also, just hit Lily on sight! Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire
[In red] Next one, next one!
[In red] So annoying!
...
[Yan'er:]
[Yan'er is quite cute. She's likely already fixed to the swing; I've never seen her come upstairs to the Qiming Building to rest. She's either playing with cats in the courtyard or swinging on the swing]
[It's worth mentioning that Yan'er's threat level is probably the lowest, as long as you don't stare at her shoes.]
[I heard that her mother refused to buy those shoes for her, so she went to the store on her own in the middle of the night and took them.]
