This Danzo Is Weird!

In the most hidden corner of Konoha—the Root.

Deep underground, within this secretive organization that concealed many of Konoha's darkest secrets, the sound of 'thwacks' echoed continuously.

"Too slow, Shisui!"

"Speed up!"

"Charge forward!"

"Faster, faster!!"

Danzo's hoarse voice relentlessly urged on.

With one hand behind his back, his stern gaze fixed on the young boy before him, he mercilessly kicked him away time and time again.

In front of him, Shisui, gripping a short sword, gritted his teeth like a wild wolf, launching a frenzied assault on Danzo.

It was no wonder Shisui was shocked.

After all, in all of Konoha, only the Hyuga clan practiced the Gentle Fist.

Other styles, like the Uchiha's taijutsu, Konoha's standard taijutsu, and the techniques used by Might Duy and his family, all fell under the category of Hard Fist.

To be precise, the Hyuga clan was the only family in the entire ninja world renowned for the Gentle Fist.

And the Hyuga were notoriously insular. Even branch family members found it difficult to learn high-level Gentle Fist techniques, let alone outsiders.

"Your turn, Kabuto," Danzo's raspy voice called out.

Hearing his name, Kabuto's neck shrunk, and he put on an ingratiating smile.

"Teacher, I'm just a child."

Seeing a Kabuto so different from the one in the original story, Danzo couldn't help but sigh. He tossed a scroll to Kabuto.

"This is a meditation scroll used by the Konoha Ninja Academy. Study it and try to refine your chakra as soon as possible."

"Once you do, I'll find a medical ninja to teach you medical ninjutsu."

Danzo had a clear plan for Kabuto's future.

After all, in the original story, Kabuto had been a medical ninja.

And the fact that he had mastered numerous medical techniques showed that he had considerable talent in that area.

Additionally, his ability to research Orochimaru and the Sound Ninja's bodies to master Sage Mode proved his exceptional research skills and aptitude for senjutsu.

So Danzo planned to focus on three areas for Kabuto's development:

1. Learning medical ninjutsu.

2. Finding an opportunity to learn senjutsu.
