This Naruto is A Bit Too Evil

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Prejudice is Like a Mountain

"What do you want to do?"

The Nine-Tails' eyes showed a glimmer of interest. Perhaps because they had found a common topic, the Nine-Tails' attitude toward Naruto softened slightly.

"Kurama, want to join me in destroying Konoha?" Naruto extended an invitation to the Nine-Tails.

"..."

The Nine-Tails fell silent. After a long pause, it spoke in a somewhat strange tone: "Asura would never say something like that."

Naruto wasn't particularly fazed by the Nine-Tails' comment. After all, he remembered that Asura was portrayed as a bit of a saint in the original work.

Instead, he asked the Nine-Tails with a curious expression: "What kind of person is Asura?"

The Nine-Tails was momentarily stunned before falling silent again, its brow furrowing as if deep in thought. As Ashura's former companion, the Nine-Tails knew him well.

Even after hundreds of years, it still vividly remembered what kind of person Ashura, the second leader of the Ninshu, had been.

However, as a Tailed Beast, the Nine-Tails had mostly lazed around in the mountains after Asura's departure. So, even after centuries, the Nine-Tails remained largely uneducated.

It racked its brain, small as it was, trying to figure out how to properly describe Asura to this little blond brat.

After thinking for a long time, only one sentence came out of its mouth.

"Asura... was a very kind person."

Naruto was taken aback. He had expected the Nine-Tails to come up with some grand, eloquent description of Asura's glorious image after such a long pause. Instead, it had offered something so... simple.

'Did it really take you that long to come up with such sentence?'

Still, 'kind' was an apt description. In fact, Asura's kindness bordered on saintliness, much like a true saint. In the original work, under the influence of Asura's Chakra, Naruto had famously said, "Obito, who wanted to become Hokage, was the coolest," right after Neji was stabbed to death.

It was as if he truly believed that love could create peace. But who was he to forgive the enemy who had just killed his comrades on behalf of those who had sacrificed their lives?

"So, Kurama, do you believe in that too? Creating peace through love?" Naruto asked curiously, wanting to hear the Nine-Tails' perspective.

The Nine-Tails remained silent. To be honest, it had once believed in that ideal, having fought alongside Asura. But after decades of being sealed away, it had come to see Asura's ideas as somewhat naive.

Although the Nine-Tails didn't respond, its expression gave Naruto the answer. Naruto smiled and said, "It's hard for me to become someone like that. After all, asking me to forgive those people."

"Kurama, don't you think that's ridiculous?"

The smile on Naruto's face had completely vanished, replaced by a chilling coldness in his blue eyes.

The Nine-Tails remained silent. Though it had been confined to the sealed space, it could still sense everything happening outside. It knew all too well the malice Naruto had endured in Konoha. In a way, it had watched Naruto grow up. If not for his status as the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and the Uzumaki Clan's innate vitality, Naruto might not have survived this long.

This is really ironic. The hero bleeds, and his child continues to suffer.

"Kurama, kindness without teeth is weakness. Imposing it on others is malice."

"Was Asura truly a kind person? Choosing to use his 'love' to change others, forcing them to accept his so-called benevolent ideals, making others let go of their hatred… isn't that also a form of malice imposed on others?"

The Nine-Tails didn't speak, simply watching Naruto quietly as he continued.

"Prejudice in people's hearts is like a mountain. No matter how hard you try, you can't move it."

"If I were to follow Asura's path and try to build bridges of understanding between people through 'love,' would those ignorant villagers truly accept me?"

"In the end, everything in the Ninja World comes down to strength."

Although in the original work, Naruto had indeed earned everyone's recognition through his efforts and became the Seventh Hokage, the current Naruto had no intention of following that predetermined path to shape his life.

Why should the perpetrators get away without consequences, while he, the victim of bullying, has to beg for their acceptance?

Don't be ridiculous. He wasn't some helpless weakling. Did you see that massive, fiery red fox in front of him? He truly possessed the power to destroy Konoha.

He, Uzumaki Naruto would do whatever he wanted!

The prejudice in people's hearts was like a mountain. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't move it.

This time, the Nine-Tails also deeply empathized with Naruto. It couldn't help but reminisce about the past.

The so-called 'embodiment of hatred' was a label that only started circulating after it was sealed inside Uzumaki Mito. Before that, it had just been a big fox living in the mountains.

As a conglomerate of Chakra and the strongest of the nine Tailed Beasts, the Nine-Tails' power grew naturally even if it did nothing. It didn't need to lift a finger to remain at the top of the world's power hierarchy.

So, after leaving the Sage of Six Paths, it had simply lounged in the mountains.

It had been lying around for hundreds of years when suddenly someone came along, shouting, "Nine-Tails, your power is too great, too dangerous," and then sealed it inside a woman.

The Nine-Tails couldn't help but curse, "If your power is so great and dangerous, why don't you seal yourself away?"

It had done nothing wrong, just eating and sleeping in the mountains every day. Why was it being sealed away?

Just because it is a Tailed Beast?'

It had done nothing wrong, but it was suddenly sentenced to life imprisonment. The Nine-Tails immediately began to darken.

But there was still one question lingering in the Nine-Tails' mind.

"Brat, you should know, right?"

"What?"

"Your parents... died by my hand."
