Two consecutive explosions sounded as the grey barriers were shattered by the fireballs in an instant, creating a massive shockwave.

When the firelight dissipated, the Second Order Middle Stage Qingxu Snake had lost most of its scales, and its body was densely covered in wounds, flesh torn and skin split, and its aura significantly weakened.

"This beast is still not dead?"

Suddenly, the valley was filled with flying sand and stones as a wild wind arose, and the Sword Qi above his head grew increasingly fierce.

"Great Sun Sword Qi Art, Kill!"

Lin Shilu bellowed, and the silver-white Sword Qi above his head tore through the air towards the Qingxu Snake with the speed of a meteor.

This Sword Qi was none other than the Mystical Solar Sword Qi Art that Lin Tianming had acquired, having been nurtured within his Qi Sea for several years.

Now unleashed, the power of the Sword Qi seemed beyond imagination.

Seeing the terrifying Sword Qi slashing at it, the Qingxu Snake struggled frantically to escape, but it was severely injured, and its speed was inherently slow.

Following the explosion, a massive blast wave came rolling through, forcing Lin Shilu back dozens of feet before he could stabilize his form.

By then, his face was pale, and a trickle of fresh blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.

When the firelight vanished, the Second Order Middle Stage Qingxu Snake lay in two pieces, its massive body still convulsing, as if expressing the Monster Serpent's unwillingness to die.

Seeing the only Second Order Middle Stage Qingxu Snake cut down, Lin Shilu's face lit up with wild joy, and without any hesitation, he swung his sword again, piercing through the twisting body of the Monster Serpent.

He leaped to the side of the Monster Serpent's body, extracted its gallbladder, and only then did the creature's body stop twitching.

The gruesome scene did not cease, and the few struggling serpents hardly stirred up any waves.

Under the joint efforts of the pair, the Demonic Beasts within the Sword Array were like lambs to the slaughter, and death was their inevitable end.

After less than half an hour, the previously noisy valley suddenly quieted down.

At this point, looking out over the valley, it was riddled with holes, and deep pits were everywhere, with broken boulders strewn all around—the valley was a scene of utter devastation.

Now his body was battered in numerous places, with some bones visible on his arm, leaving him with less than twenty percent of his strength.

Had it not been for his strength in Body Cultivation, his powerful vitality and quick recovery, he would not have held on at all.

The pair had fought against a Qingxu Snake Clan and, after a fierce battle lasting over half an hour, they finally emerged victorious.

Lin Shilu took out an elixir to restore Spiritual Power and swallowed it, then spoke,

"Tianming, this place is unsafe, other Cultivators might hear the commotion at any time. We must quickly meditate to restore our Spiritual Power to be ready for any imminent dangers."

Lin Tianming nodded, already holding an elixir, which he swallowed before beginning to meditate and cultivate.

He did not overlook the small pools of Snake Blood either, collecting them all. Such treasures were hard to come by, and the Purple Gold Eagle was not picky. With so much snake blood, he could swiftly enhance his strength.

After gathering the Medium Stage Second Order Monster Serpent, he moved to the body of an Initial Stage Second Order one, repeating the process and collecting all usable materials.

He busied himself for half an hour just to collect the bodies of the dozens of Monster Serpents.
