transmigrated as Obito

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Hello friends, somewhat short chapter but I wanted to publish a chapter today I hope you all like it I tried to do the best I could

—Why now? —Obito asked, his voice echoing in the cold, silent atmosphere of the cell.

The question hung in the air for a few moments before Kakashi responded.

—A meteor is about to hit Earth —Kakashi said, as he began removing the seals that kept Obito chained—. I think this is the time and the reason I've been looking for to set you free, Obito.

After years of having his body completely restrained, Obito felt his muscles stretch and relax for the first time. He took a deep breath, savoring the freedom that had been denied to him for so long.

—So, we've finally reached this point, Naruto... —Obito whispered, sighing—. Time flies so quickly. The good thing is, I'll finally be free. Kakashi... you really are a good friend.

Kakashi continued working on the seals, but his expression was serious.

—A meteor shouldn't be a problem for Naruto or Sasuke. What's happened to them? —Obito asked, noticing the worry on Kakashi's face.

—It's not just the meteor, Obito —Kakashi replied, his voice tense—. The entire moon is approaching Earth. Do you understand? And Naruto, Hinata, and several other Konoha ninjas have been missing for days. I haven't been able to contact Sasuke. This isn't just about setting you free... we really need you.

Obito fell silent for a moment, processing the gravity of the situation.

—He's desperate, isn't he? —Obito thought quietly—. Well, it's to be expected. We're all about to die at any moment. Naruto must be fighting Toneri on the moon... I can feel his strong chakra signature. I have no idea how broken Obito really was.

—I already know where Naruto is —Obito suddenly said, breaking the silence.

—Where? How do you know? —Kakashi asked, surprised.

—Naruto is on the moon —Obito replied, dropping those words like a bombshell.

Kakashi was completely shocked, his eyes widening behind his mask.

—No, no, no... Obito, we need to go to the outskirts of Konoha right now. The Raikage is about to destroy the moon with the Rail Cannon. If Naruto is there, we have to save him. Hurry up! What are you waiting for?

Obito slowly stood up, stretching his numb limbs.

—You should give me some clothes first —he said with an ironic smile—. I'm not planning to walk around naked.

Kakashi sighed but quickly pulled out a standard Konoha jonin uniform.

—Here —he said, tossing the clothes to Obito—. From now on, you'll be a jonin of the Hidden Leaf.

Without responding, Obito began to dress, moving with a calmness that contrasted with the urgency of the situation.

—Alright, let's go —Obito said once he was fully dressed.

He placed a hand on Kakashi's shoulder, and in an instant, both disappeared into a spatial vortex, using Obito's Kamui.

They reappeared on the outskirts of Konoha, where a group of ninjas from different villages had gathered. There were shinobi from Konoha, Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and, of course, the ninjas from Kumogakure, led by the Raikage, A.

The Raikage, upon seeing Obito, reacted immediately. His face filled with rage, and in a movement as fast as lightning, he appeared beside Obito, his single arm piercing through Obito's body.

—What are you doing, Hokage?! —A shouted, his voice full of anger—. Why is this criminal free?!

Kakashi stepped between them, raising his hands in a calming gesture.

—Enough, Raikage! Obito has already served his sentence, and right now, he's our best option to deal with what's happening. Besides, the Rail Cannon can't be fired at the moon. Naruto is there, and we don't know how many other Konoha ninjas are with him. We can't risk killing them!

The Raikage growled but didn't withdraw his arm from Obito's intangible body.

—It's too late, Hokage! We're out of time and options. The moon must be destroyed, or we'll all die.

Obito laughed, a dry, sarcastic sound.

—Isn't it that you want to weaken Konoha's strength by getting rid of Naruto, Raikage? Well, I'll make sure that doesn't happen.

Before A could react, Obito appeared beside the Rail Cannon and, with a quick gesture, absorbed it into his personal dimension.

—Damn you! —A roared, attacking Obito again, but his fist only passed through Obito's intangible body.

—Enough, Raikage! —Kakashi shouted, exasperated—. Obito, take us directly to where Naruto is. We need to know what he's fighting and how we can help him.

Obito nodded, his expression serious.

—Alright. But be prepared... this won't be easy.

With a quick movement, Obito extended his hands, and a portal opened in front of them.

—Let's go —Obito said, looking at Kakashi and the Raikage—. We don't have time to waste.
